[Potential exceeds limit, transferring to Advanced Stage]
Golden writing appeared in front of Myeong's eyes that stood out from the darkness.
[Welcome to the Advanced Stage]
...
[Confidentiality regarding this stage is essential to ensure your own safety.]
"Huh?"
"What's this?!?"
A holographic textbox materialized before him, its shimmering blue hues resembling the familiar textboxes he had encountered through the contact lenses gifted to him by Kwan.
[...regarding your stay, please use this time wisely.]
[What would you like to choose as your name?"]
"Is this a video game?" Myeong said, he couldn't help but voice his scepticism, even though he knew it was unlikely to register his words.
[Are you sure you would like to choose the name 'Is this a video game' as your official name?"]
...
"No,"
Myeong thought back to the past, In the similar blue textboxes, it clearly displayed Kwan as his name in the textbox. When Myeong thought about his own textbox, he was able to distinguish his name from all the illegible writing.
Myeong's eyebrows furrowed with suspicion as he pondered the system's peculiar question. It didn't make sense. If the system already had his name, why bother asking? A strange sense of unease crept up his spine, sending a chill through his veins. Myeong's curiosity surged, fueled by a mix of excitement and apprehension.
He decided to be cautious; anonymity, he realized, could be his shield in the battles yet to come. Myeong understood that he had to play his cards right, given the lack of information he had, it seemed the logical way forward.
*After minutes of thinking...*
"Set my name as Zimithin."
[Do you confirm that your name will be Zimithin?]
"Yes."

[Welcome to Eronitar!]
Myeong stared around to witness the almost opposite of the city he had seen for the past few days. A stone statue stood menacingly in the land in front of him as well as a large manor behind it. In the east, there was a slight breeze swaying the forest filled with tall, green grass and old trees with shaking branches. Myeong felt lost in the scenery; birds chirping could be heard from afar as well as occasional unknown grunts deep in the forest.
Myeong sat down on the hill he had first arrived on to let everything sink whilst he breathed in the fresh air, it seemed very realistic and peaceful to the extent that it was almost the opposite.
[Menu has been opened]
"Hmm?"
Only 3 options in the menu had been unlocked. A map icon, a scroll icon with the caption quest. Last but not least, there was an icon of Myeong's face with the caption of statistics.

"Oh right, this is the blue textbox from before, but uhm... am I really that weak?"
Myeong sighed disappointingly. So far he hadn't seen anyone which may have been a good sign as he would be easy prey. He knew for a fact that many people would be a lot stronger than him as his rank was only D- and trespassing into properties such as large manors would only lead to trouble. Therefore without much more hesitation, he decided to venture through the forest.
***
In his travels, he followed a wide, carved path when all of a sudden a small blue textbox appeared as he was approaching a small clearing.
[Skill: Analysis has found Level 1 boar within 1m radius.]
---------------------------------------------------
Skill - Analysis:
Passive skill that scans the surroundings
-Obtainable from mana-reading contact lenses
---------------------------------------------------
Myeong stood in the middle of the clearing. To his right, to no surprise, was a fairly large boar with tusks larger than Myeong's arms. Near the end of it's back it had a sword that had sunk deep in it. However, due to it's monstrous nature, it seemed unaffected by it's pain.
[Analysis has concluded that Level 1 Boar has 59/400 HP]
"Fairly easy then!"
Myeong smirked and raised his fists in a stance ready for the boar's charge.
[Boar has used Skill : Quick Charge]
[Boar's speed will be 10% higher for 30 seconds]
The boar sprinted at Myeong at incredible speeds, it's intent was clear. It wouldn't rest until Myeong was dead.
Myeong swiftly dodged and pulled out the sword from the back of the boar. The boar stumbled for a few seconds before leaping skilfully to position itself for it's second attack.
[Sword has been added to inventory]
{Would you like to analyse sword in inventory?]
"Sure" Myeong thought to himself.
[Inventory has opened]
"Huh? It can read my mind?!?"
--------------------
Sturdy Sword
(Common)
Damage : 110
--------------------
[Would you like to equip this Sword?]
The boar sprinted again, slightly faster this time as it was enraged.
"Yes, quickly!" Myeong thought to himself.
As the distance between Myeong and the Boar grew shorter, Myeong swung his sword at the last second cutting the Boar in half. No blood dripped to the floor and the former boar instantly turned into dark black clouds of dust until finally slowly fading to reveal blue orbs on the ground.
[You have levelled up! You are now Level 2]
[For defeating Level 1 Boar you have gained additional points in strength, agility and dexterity.
...
--------------------------
Level : 2 Rank : D-
[Strength : 155]
[Agility: 85]
[Dexterity : 15]

[Control : 56]
{Defence : 48]
[Mana : 0]
[HP : 180]
[Damage : 31]
[Analysis: 40]
--------------------------
Myeong picked up the ominous blue orb which was the only remnant of the former Boar.
[Analysis concludes that this orb is a monster core and may be sold at a price in shops or global market. It's value is not very high.]
"Hmmm,"
"Are there perhaps some cities nearby, Maybe I could sell this in exchange for some food? System open menu."
[Opening Menu]
"It worked! Okay now open maps."
[The blue pointer is your location]
Most of the areas shown on the map were undistinguishable, however, Myeong expected as much due to the fact he had only partly explored the forest. While the map had served its purpose in guiding him back to his starting point, he had reached the edge of the forest.
Myeong walked closer to the outskirts, his eyes attuned to every detail. Adrenaline surged through his veins, fueling his determination to explore the uncharted territory. But just as he prepared to make his move, something caught his eye—an intriguing glimmer in the midst of the small camp in the far distance, the ground beneath him fell short to reveal the edge of a steep cliff.
With unwavering focus, Myeong fixed his gaze upon the scene before him. The camp buzzed with cautious activity, its occupants oblivious to his presence. Yet, amidst the hustle and bustle, a small, inconspicuous detail tugged at his curiosity.
At the top of the menu, barely noticeable to the casual observer, was a tiny inscription.
