Synopsis
Rio Righten, a former citizen of Earth. He was summoned into this new world, Galen, when war was inevitable between the humans and the monsters. Galen had its own world principles and rules. The will of Galen was described as Laws. Laws are the aspects of Reality that humans and beasts alike, grasp to gain more strength. Each individual is limited to a single law, as the study of law was complicated, to begin with. Rio being a foreign being in Galen, piqued Reality's curiosity. To make Rio a citizen of Galen, to adopt him, Reality tried to change his body from the core. As a side effect, granting him an affinity with Reality itself. Or in other words, every single Law and Magic in existence. Rio tries to find his way back to Earth, where he can again hear the voice of his friends, enjoy the nights he spent gaming, and being a normal person without any responsibility. Chapter 1 - Crossing Over

Deep in the mountains of the Kellar region, a man stood up from what looked like a crater. He dusted the dirt from his clothes and looked at the scene created by his fall.

"Fuck! That lizzie sure flew me high up."

The man looked to be in his mid-twenties, with a fair complexion typical to the northern people and with long golden hair blowing on the chilling wind.

Even though the man had light clothing, the cold didn't seem to bother him much.

If one looked closer towards this man they would notice the world energy crystallizing near his feet. And on a closer look they would notice the air around him vibrating.

He gave an aura of sturdiness and would send shivers through the spine of anyone who looked at him.

The man looked at the flying figure of what looked like a flying bird and sighed. Not in relief but at the stupidity of humans to have angered a Dragon such as Jagra, the lord of the Kellar region and also known as the Snow Dragon.

"Man.... I swear I am never again protecting these stupid humans!"

The man said with such genuine rage that any onlooker would think he belonged to a different race. And why won't they ? How many people are there who talk as if they are not human but appear to be.

Not too long ago, Kal the Human Lord of the Kellar region and Jagra had to settle their dispute with fists and Ice. Normally Jagra would stay in his den, all the while either sleeping or practicing his law of Frost.

Unfortunately, some human travelers had goddess misfortune smiling on them that they ended up activating all of Jagra's defensive mechanisms. Sure enough, they didn't live to tell the tale, but Jagra was more than ready to pent his stress on someone for his recently failed breakthrough. Kal opened a dimensional gate to his room and lied down on the bed.

"Alexa, set my alarm at 8 hours from now, I need a good nap before I can think of attending the summoning ceremony. After all I need to be in my peak condition for any 'accidents' happen."

'Ofcourse, if those accidents are really natural for a summoning.'

A mechanical voice answered his call and followed his orders.

Kal had a lot of things to do after he woke up and left for the capital in Orex. Many different forces would more than love to win the favor of the creature being summoned after all.

.....

Rio was in his room when the summoning ritual started in Orex.

He was a guy of 18 with purple hair and purple eyes. With a build of an athlete who practices his swordsmanship everyday with his tutor. He came back from his practice not too long ago and now needed a well-rested nap.

When he next opened his eyes, he saw five people surrounding him and below him what looked like a magic circle from the comics he read. His first thought was where he was instead of panicking. His master had beat the lesson of having a cool head into him until he learnt.

He noticed few people in the hall where he laid right now staring at him and pointing fingers. Some with greed, some with horror, and some with expectations.

Little did Rio knew that he was summoned to Orex in the hope that he would be the last defense line of mankind again the monsters born from the chaos.

Before Rio could even say a single word, the world energy rushed towards his body, the world principles seeped towards his core.

Reality had taken him for an intruder who didn't follow its laws and so reality tried to change his whole existence so it would fit this world.

The void created by Rio's arrival, of someone who followed no principle nor any law was soon followed by the surrounding world energy.

The ethereal energy seeped inside his body and started crushing his every fiber, every cell and started regenerating them once again. Reality was many things but partial was not one of them. Reality would never kill anyone whose fate was yet to be written in its thread.

The pain Rio felt was akin to thousands of hot blades piercing him from every side. His muscles started to fall off and new muscles grew in their place immediately. His nails and hairs fell off and started regrowing again. His organs would compress and then get back to normal. Black tar like substances would come out of his body.

His screams could be heard from thousands of meters, the people in the hall stared in horror at that scene but couldn't move. The raw might of the world principles flowing near them was enough to keep all those powerhouses sweating.

The first body refinement lasted for barely 3 seconds but to all those present it was like 3 hours and for Rio it was the longest 3 seconds of his life.

If he was thinking that his pain came to an end, then he couldn't be any more wrong. The pain just started. Reality had thousands of principles and even tens of thousands of laws in it. Only the first law refinement was finished and to reality it was merely enough for Rio to survive.

.....

Every creation is followed by destruction and vice versa. Nothing is allowed to remain in void. Every thing has their own fulfillment.

And yet here was the embodiment of void, whom Reality had tried to fill up and yet failed. None of the laws were attuned with this human. So what was reality to do? Kill him? Leave him as he was?

Reality had no such plans.

All it wanted was to fill the void but the void remained. Rio went through thousands of refinements and they lasted for whole 3 hours. Pain had driven him insane and he wished he was dead already. But reality made sure so the human would not die.

With every law getting in his system, with every principle moving through his very core he felt pain such that there was no comparison to it. He can't even lose consciousness, as the pain would always make sure to wake him up.

After the reality checked his body with each and every law and nothing fit his body. Reality decided to leave the choice to the human, it would not choose anything for the human but give him all the choices he would need.

With all the world principles and laws seeping in his body a voice came.

'If someone is getting this message, then please come to me in the Temple of Maya. I will grant one wish to you.'

It was a feminine voice which somehow contained thousands of voices overlapping in it. Some of happiness, others of despair. Rio felt his mind was being taken over but the voices faded just as soon as they arrived.

The whole of Orex was devoid of any world energy at this moment. All of it had rushed to the hall in the palace where Rio laid, to obey the will of its master, Reality.

Even after the body refinement was over Rio lay there, without any movement. The pain was all but a nightmare to him now. It broke his mind and spirit but his body was honed to such perfection that it might never hurt again.

Every spectator was drenched in cold sweat, those who still stood that is, the rest were foaming from their mouth and fainted. The people with weak body would never be able to resist so much world energy to have turned almost solid.

Rio opened his eyes slowly and stood up. All eyes were on him. Now none of those gazes were filled with greed or expectations, all that was seen was pure fear, the fear a prey felt from a predator.

And yet this predator might be the only one able to maintain the peace in this world. So the high priest walked up to Rio who was still shaken to the core from his experience. And created a mind link with Rio using magic, he formed the magic such that to Rio it would appear as if the priest was speaking his mother language.

"Welcome, young hero, I the Royal High Priest of the Orex city welcome you to our world. I know you might have many questions in your mind but they can wait until we arrange everything for you."

Rio blankly stared at the man in front of him.

The High Priest assumed, from that blank stare, that their Hero didn't trust them yet, so he proceeded to introduce his name as a sign of friendship, as was the tradition in every culture.

"Young hero, my name is....."

A single finger placed on Rio's lips stopped the old man from speaking any further.
