Her heart had changed - though her mind cautioned her to be patient, and reminded her that relationships took time to build, the rest of her had become enamoured with the man next to her.
The land they rode across was flat and unobstructed, and Saera was pleased to see the property was closer than she had anticipated. She mused over the distance to her family's estate in her head, hoping it would be easy for her to visit. Though she had become occupied with Jin and felt comfortable in his home, she missed her family terribly, missed the sensation of familiarity and comfort one could only have at home.
