His lips closed over hers, hot and tender, sending a rush of heat coursing through her body. Saera sighed, feeling herself melt into him. This wasn't one of those animalistic, urgent kisses that he worked so hard to suppress. It was a level kiss, fueled by the knowledge that the waiting would soon come to an end.
He wrapped his arms around her and held her, swaying gently as they kissed. Saera felt like time had stopped, and all she cared about was his hand on her waist, and the soft way he was stroking down her spine.
And then a sharp rap on the door startled both of them. Saera jumped, a gasp coming from her throat. Jin looked towards the door and frowned, his brows knitting together.
"At this hour? Are you expecting someone?"
Jin pulled his arms from around her, hastily pulling his shirt back over his head. "Wait a moment."
