I was surprised at Miley's answer and looked at her with furrowed brows.
She just shrugged and replied,"My brother needed to hear the truth to his face. He has been pampered since young by my parents, and as my baby brother, I have spoilt him to some extent as well."
I nodded my head, but at the same time felt sorry for Roy. I knew that, Miley saying Joshua would be a better father than he, wouldn't go well with him, as I had personally witnessed how much he seemed to care about Missy.
"Issy, don't worry about Roy, he'll come around, and as for Elizabeth and Evelyn, once Joshua gets better, everything will be alright, you just see", Miley said and I hoped that her words were the truth.
"Thank you Miley. It means a lot to me for you to say that",I replied to her and she smiled at me. Missy, who stood in a corner and quiet this whole time, came to where we were and hugged me, as if she knew how much I needed that.
