The D-Day finally arrived and Wilson had been awake since midnight without batting a lid.
He had decided he would be happy with whatever element he had an affinity with since none of them was actually useless. He would just have to work harder than anyone else to come out on top.
He rushed down waiting for his mother to arrive downstairs since his father had gone out on an adventure expedition again.
He wasn't sad about it, he was used to it. he knew his father really wanted to come but wasn't able to.
After a while, his mother came down to see food already on the table, with her son standing impatiently waiting with a smile. She could see her really wanted to find out his affinity and element.
She smiled, came down and gave him a kiss on his forehead and said
"I know you're worried, nervous and excited as well, but I just want to tell you, I and your father will always be here for you, okay, now let's get ready and go for your testing."
She ate while complimenting him on the dishes. Then she got prepared. She called out to wilson and together they went out of the house. They went next door to Daniel's home where Daniel and his mother were already waiting.
After meeting up, off they went to the testing guild located almost at the center of the town, which had one of the busiest districts.
They got there with no trouble, registered and got their seats. The testing guild had a sort of arena at the back where things like this took place.
After the adults had taken their seats, the participants were all called out to go down to the stage. Of course wilson and Daniel found each other and started thinking and discussing of the endless possibilities their lives were about to receive.
There was a man there who called them to begin to come to him, he looked to be in his mid- thirties. After they came close, he started distributing some cards to each of them and there were numbers on the cards.
He then explained that the cards would be used for identification, when the number on your card got called, you would have to go forth.
Once he said that, every single child looked down to see what number they had.
Immediately some cries of dissatisfaction arose as some children found out that they were going to be the first to be called, while some friends had been separated.
Wilson and Daniel had been separated, Daniel was number 18 while Wilson was number 28. The duo was obviously upset about this arrangement but there was nothing that they could do except to wish each other luck.
After a while the testing process began and the first person was called forth. He was nervous and visibly sweating by the looks of it.
There were two orbs placed in front of him and the elder told him to place his two hands on the both of them. He obliged the elder and placed both his hands on the two orbs in the sight of all the adults and people present.
Some seconds later, the two orbs lit up one with green colour and the other changing from red then to Blue. The elder nodded his head then checked the boy's name and called out "Robin peter, fire and water elements green grade"
After this, the boy whose name was Robin visibly sighed in relief. He then jumped in joy at the prospect of being a DI elemental. He was then given the choice of joining an academy which he gladly accepted.
From then, the testing went smoothly but only single and di elementals had been seen. There had been a single pure wind elemental.
These were elementals with a single elemental as well but their strength was on a whole different level or league compared to their mates.
And finally, it was Daniels turn. Wilson watched cheering his friend on. Daniel went forward grandly and majestically as if he owned the place.
The elder watching this could only smirk seeing how the little boy acted boldly despite looking so small. At last, he got there and placed his hands on the two orbs as well.
