Wilson on getting there was very calm. His parents seeing this couldn't help but wonder where this confidence stemmed from. At the moment, he gave off a confident but yet calm aura.
He wasn't a stranger to everything happening but he couldn't help but smile wryly when he noticed it was the same elder that had tested him back then that was here again today for the testing.
Fate sure works in strange ways! was his thought.
Just like last time, everything started again with the elder calling all the participants to the other stage ready for them.
Maybe it was because he was so focused on awakening last time that he didn't notice, but there were other kids as old as him. One in particular even looked older.
After a while, they were given numbers. Whether it was by coincidence or Fate, Wilson was given number twenty eight yet again. He could only smile at this point wondering if it was originally meant to be this way if he had not gone in the beginning.
Wilson was the only one calm enough in the whole stage. Although he noticed one other who looked as calm as he was. He wasn't sure if it was all an act or if it was real confidence, but all the rest looked as nervous as he was two years ago.
It just couldn't be helped, no one wanted to awaken a common element or have a low grade. The elder was surprised to see Wilson. He clearly remembered the boy who left a deep impression in his mind.
At first he thought Wilson had given up when he didn't see him at the next testing and the one after that. Now though seeing Wilson, he didn't know what to think. He wondered what happened to make the boy come back again.
It wasn't unheard of for some people to try for testing more than once and succeed at the second try, but the boy's case was really a strange one.
Anyhow it ended, the elder just couldn't shake the feeling that something interesting would happen soon.
The testing kicked off with the number one participant being called onto the stage and directed on how to proceed with the use of the orbs.
The boy nodded his head after understanding and placed both his hands on the two orbs and some seconds later, one of the orbs lit up with a purple color while the other lit up with a bright red color.
The elder seeing this smiled saying "Jason Haddon, pure grade fire elemental".
The elder couldn't help but become excited. Pure elementals were said to be as strong as even DI or TRI elementals. If the first person was awakening such a powerful ability, he couldn't help but wonder how many more potential filled participants this year had.
He'd soon find out how wrong he was. The rest that followed were all average or sub-par. Some actually awakened good enough grades but there was no unique element being awakened.
Just like last time, a break was taken at number twenty for all to take a rest. After the stipulated time, it was time for them to continue.
Finally it seemed as if the elders' wish had come true as the first unique element had been shown. It was a girl in whose hands one orb was lit with a purple color while the other showed the colors pale blue and creamy white.
The elder smiled in Glee before declaring
"Hannah mitosa pure grade spirit and sound elemental".
There was an uproar in the crowd. It reminded Wilson of the time Daniel awakened.
Thinking of Daniel he wondered if he still remembered him and how he was doing. He wondered if he had changed in any way or if he was still the same mischievous trouble maker he had always been.
Soon enough, the next person went and the chain continued until it finally got to Wilson's turn.
"Hey kid, you came back" The elder said kindly to Wilson
"greetings elder, yes I indeed came back" Wilson replied.
"Well then, let's hope everything ends all right okay?" to which Wilson nodded.
"Now I don't think I need to tell you what to do, do I?"
"No elder" Wilson replied.
Wilson was about to place both his hands on the orbs and a torrent of memories flooded his mind. The pain of the orb not lighting up, the fear, and everything else that had happened.
But now,..... he breathed in. This time would be different he told himself.
He placed his hands on the orbs . At first nothing happened. The elder seeing this sighed, about to give up when one of the orbs lit up with a red color while the other lit up with a silvery color.
The elder seeing this was dumbstruck. This was one of the rarest elements to awaken. Even though it was a red grade, the lowest for that matter it was still very useful. He was pretty sure the other elders were on their way to recruit him into their academy.
That was because the element the young boy awoke was none other than the space element. Before he could finish up his thoughts, the purplish black color changed to a pale blue.
----____________---_______
The elder watching everything happen didn't know what to think anymore. It seemed like the young lad in front of him was full of different surprises. From being a non awakener, having no elemental affinity or grade to coming back two years later to awaken two very unique elements albeit a low grade.
It seemed like the youngster was special and had potential. He called out 'Wilson gritchen, red grade space and spirit elemental'
The crowd went wild once more especially after someone recognized wilson as the kid of no ability two years ago.
Wilson on the other hand was shocked. The people seeing this thought it was the shock of joy and happiness, while wilson on the other hand was wondering why he awoke two elements instead of one and why they were two of the most rarest elements ever to be seen.
At the end, he presumed it was the work of the old man but he didn't care. He was glad that he had finally started on his journey of becoming an elemental.
