Betty was still in shock of what just happened
"I thought he was asleep" she screamed to herself. She kept on gazing at him. He smirked as he stood up adjusting himself. Betty almost fell but he caught her in time. She distanced her self from him while he was still looking at her
"Why are you looking at me like that?" she finally spoke up
He didn't say a word she got furious
"And ...why are you in my....room" she stammered
"Why are you trying to kiss me huh?"
She didn't say anything she felt defeated by his question. She didn't say anything for a while, he was about to say something else but she interrupted him immediately
"I....didn't.....I...saw...a....fl.y"
"A fly? on my lips?" he asked raising a brow
She fell silent again. Nix stood up and walked over to where she stood. She tried to step back but he held her hand
"Wait!" he said softly. she felt nervous, he played with the strands of her hair as he placed them behind her right ear. She felt her body calm down by his actions. He caressed her cheek and pinched her slightly. He brought his face closer to hers and whispered to her eyes
"Do you really like me that much to lie to me huh Betty?" he asked meanly
She felt her blood boil up She retracted backwards and glazed at him with disgust
"I don't like you nix!' she replied sternly and walked out of her room.
"Gosh that was my room"
She came in and looked at him looking for how to tell him to leave
He walked to the door and turned the knob he looked at her Betty could feel the coldness coming from him
"Maybe he was angry" she thought
"I don't think so Betty" and he walked out
She couldn't Even say anything she just sighed angrily and went over to her bed. She lay down,
"He's so annoying" she murmured. She turned and gazed at, lily was fast asleep she thought then she drifted to sleep herself.
After a while lily jerked from sleep she stood up and went out of the room she headed outside the house towards the garden. At a distance she sighted someone seated on the grass she watched him as the breeze blew his hair about.
She went closer and sat by him but he didn't turn she just kept on looking at him and then turned towards the empty space. He turned to look at her and she turned reflexively they both gazed at each other without saying a word. He finally bent his face down on his knees and slept off. Lily didn't make move she just kept her gaze on the dark empty space of the early morning as she could see the sun about it set.
Betty woke up extremely tired she turned but lily wasn't in bed. She rushed out of her room and headed down the stair case
"Betty" someone called her
"Au....aunty....Good morning"
"Good morning...How was your night?"
"It was nice" she seemed in a haste. She wanted to ask something but she heard footsteps She knew who it was so she smiled at her aunt and left in a hurry.
