Betty and lily were done packing for school.
"I'll miss you" Karin said. Betty felt sober she wasn't leaving mainly because of nix but because her school had resumed and transferring over here would be a waste of time since she was almost done but she couldn't help but feel emotional she knew Karin her dad wasn't the kind to express his feelings anyhow but she has seen how emotions ran through his eyes as he said it. She ran up to him and hugged
"I'll miss you more dad" clutching him tightly. They hugged for a while and he kissed her in her fore head. She hugged her mom too, they all escorted her and lily to the airport after a few hugs they departed.
When Karin got home with his wife he found his brother Noah talking seriously with a group of men. Jenna got the message and left the men to be alone besides she knew Karin wouldn't hide anything from her and she trusted him too so there was no need to worry. The atmosphere seemed tensed as Karin walked up to them. He felt annoyed that he was separated from his wife and wanted to get over with this quickly.
After waiting for a while to know what was going on he got no response he gazed at nix who was just standing by the side and he sighed
"When are you leaving Noah?!"
Noah looked at him with such an intense gaze he soon burst into a fit of laughter
"Oh little brother do you miss your wife that much?"
Karin didn't say a word and turned to leave
"Am not going till I find out what I need"
Karin turned and looked at his brother he knew who he was talking of
"Why are you so serious about her?!"
"I don't want to die fruitless" he said with finality. The two brothers gazed at nix who bowed and went inside. Karin went to meet his lovely wife in the room.
Betty and lily got to school and offloaded their stuff. It was late so Betty just went to shower and went straight to bed. Lily had a lot of work to handle so she stayed up all night. The next morning the two girls acted cold to each other though they weren't fighting Betty knew lily wouldn't say anything or talk to her so she stayed on her own and lily didn't mind.
Betty walked to class, it was a long boring lecture for her.
The male teacher; Mr Jon who was always looking decent with his long dark hair, tall and fair in height and color respectively. He was a no nonsense man and also very punctual. Students could only what kind of mystery this man was. He loved reading books and never took any excuse for any assignments not done. No one had the audacity to talk in his class. Only his loud voice was heard through out the long one hour.
After he was done, they all waited for him to step out before they rushed out. Betty walked out of the class feeling so hungry she walked to the cafeteria and got herself a Donut. As she sat eating her donut she felt Someone behind her. She turned
"Nix!!"
"Hey pretty girl" he smiled
She sighed and continued with what she was eating. She ate roughly because she was hungry Nix laughed as he snatched it away from her
"Not so pretty at all"
