The waitress stared at her expecting her to add something to her request but Betty didn't say anything else the waitress turned to leave but nix stopped her
"Get her some chicken wings with that" and the waitress nodded and left.
"Why did you add that?"
"Because your my girlfriend"
Betty fell speechless.
"And you look hungry" She felt agitated and felt like punching him but she held herself and calmed down. Soon the waitress came back with the food and juice. She served them and left. Betty decided to get some drinks while nix took the wings she didn't say anything she just drank her juice while she was busy on her phone.
Nix was already full yet Betty didn't say anything he felt disappointed.
He wanted to say something but he saw her look up to him like she wanted to say something that she had been holding since.
He smiled widely
"I'm tired nix I want to go home" and his smile vanished. He thought maybe she was pretending by asking for only the juice that was why he grabbed the wings but he saw she didn't care and even looking at her he could see behind her eyes that she never cared. He sighed as he nodded and took her to the car.
After a long silence
"Betty"
"Yes"
"Do you like me" she stared at him
"No"
"Why?"
She didn't answer.
"Did she just snub me?" he thought.
"How could she?" no girl ever turned him down he got whatever he wanted how ever he wanted it. He could get them in just a matter of time, some even came begging and Betty won't be an exception. That's how some girls had been to him but later on they were just nothing. He never felt anything for them for him he was just playing around having fun and living his life. He couldn't even count how many girls had gone down begging for him. He thought so when Betty did ask him
"Why is she acting like this now?" he asked himself
"I want you and ill get you Betty" he thought
"You can't be different from the rest" he whispered
He looked at her and it seemed she was busy on her phone.
"Betty" she looked at him. He bent to kiss her but she stopped him on time. He got pissed off but she didn't seem to care. He got hold of her hands while he played with her fingers. She almost reached violently when he said
"Soon you'll become my wife Mrs Nix" She froze
He smiled. The car soon got to a halt and Betty rushed to get out of the car but nix held her back
"No goodbye hug?" he asked seeming sad
She glared at him, sighed and hugged him then left.
She went straight to her room and bounced on the bed. She was exhausted, she felt tormented by the way nix smiled towards her like he was a devil. It sent shivers down her spine.
