I quickly back stepped multiple times while drawing my bow from my back, all the while the Orc stood still in a mocking stance. I used that chance to turn tail and run, leading the Orc to the edge of the wood where I'd hopefully make short work of him. As I got to the edge of the forest I turned to look at the Orc following me, when I noticed his arm reaching for me right from behind. I quickly rolled to the side avoiding his grab, while I drew an arrow, pushed the button on the side of my bow and fired at the Orc.
It pierced through his leg and set the whole area black with the smell of burnt flesh permeating the air. He screamed loudly and looked at me no longer as a game, but as a nuisance that needed to be put down. I drew another arrow as he lunged towards me and let it loose just as his arm was about to grab me. Thanks mostly to the close proximity, this time it pierced his chest and quickly cauterized the wound leaving the beast in pure agony.
He fell to the floor coughing up blood gasping for air, demonstrating the effects of his now pierced lungs. Tears began streaming down his face and snot down his nose. A few seconds later he stopped moving and it became deathly silent (no pun intended). Soon following this bout of silence a loud noise pierced my ears.

I decided to ignore it for the moment until I was home, not knowing what may have heard the screams of this now dead Orc. I thought about taking the Orcs teeth to sell at the market. They sell for a decent price due to their value as weapons and ingredients in potions. But, soon I began to feel the earth under me shake and I could hear a low rumble similar to that of a stampede. I quickly ran towards the castle walls eager for the safety of my home.
As I neared the walls I turned back to see if I was still being chased, where I noticed just on the edge of the forest was the Orc captain, staring directly at me with murderous intent in its eyes. I was both terrified and happy to see that I wasn't being chased; it was similar to the difference between threatening to kill someone and chasing after someone with a knife. I was glad for the moment it was just a threat, while anxious of what this threat might bring about in the coming days.
I entered the village and walked directly home eager to claim my rewards. As I got home I sat down to check my supplies and stats before officially claiming my reward. Unfortunately due to the Orcs chasing me away I left my two arrows behind leaving me with 22 arrows, a days left of food, and two unclaimed missions. The other one being the daily quest of the day; I had worked out a bit before leaving, and finished the rest while waiting for Orcs and running away from the two Orcs later on, one at a time.
