Pitter patter the sound of rain drops echoed through the dark wet forest. Clippity clop the sounds of horse hooves trotted on the road with the rocks moving up and down.
The moon shinning so bright through the night shinning down on the girl on the back of the horse. Looking back at the others chasing behind her she looked forward once again to see a cliff up ahead.
But let's go back all the way back to the beginning to understand what's happening here. In a kingdom far far away in a small village lived a beautiful pink haired girl. She lived with her mother her father died when she was little of a serious illness.
The doctor said there was no cure for such an illness. Amira's mother became depressed after that which caused her mother to also get ill. It was morning the sun was shinning bright in the village with lots of people outside and kids running around playing together.
She wore a black medieval Irish over dress and a chemise boho gothic high waist gown dress. With a vintage twig basket on her right wrist with cooking herbs inside. She was walking to the baker in the village she was a good friend of the owner of the baker.
Mrs. Park she always gives Amira free treats as a gift or just to cheer her up. As she was walking in the village she was waving and saying good morning to people. She finally stoped in front of the small baker that the village had and the only baker in her village.
The other villages had more bakers and supplies but Amira only wanted a family and for her village to be happy. She opened the door to the baker and was greeted with a big warm hug from an old lady. Who looked like she was in her fifties or sixties.
She had short curly grey hair and she wore a grey pioneer gown dress she had wrinkles on her hands a face. Amira hugged the old woman back as well before she pulled away from the hug. "Good morning Mrs. Park" Amira said with a bright and joyful smile on her face. "Good morning darling how's your mother" Mrs. Park said looking a bit worried.
Mrs. Park was the first person in the village to know about Amira's mother and her illness. Her husband Mr. Park and her always visited Amira and her mother when there free.
"Mother's fine she's doing much better now" Amira said. Amira's mother had to stay inside as she was very ill her body couldn't move and she kepted throwing up countless times. But after a while her mother started becoming better the doctor said getting fresh air and going outside more often would help clear her mind.
"That's good to hear honey. I'll go get the pie now cherry just like you wanted" Mrs. Park said smiling as she turned around and walked away to get the pie from the back. Amira smiled and watched as Mrs. Park disappeared into the back to get the cherry pie. The cherry pie was for a contest the village was holding for the annual spring festival.
There was always a pie contest Amira always won she baked the pie herself sometimes but the rest of the times. Mrs. Park would offer to lend a hand since Amira was always busy taking care of her mother. Mrs. Park finally appeared holding a freshly baked cherry pie in her hand.
"Here you go darling be careful it's still hot" Mrs. Park said handing the cherry pie over to Amira. Who placed the pie into the basket and turned back to smile at Mrs. Park. "Thank you Mrs. Park you've always helped me and my mother. How can I ever repay you" Amira asked.
Mrs. Park took Amira's hands in her's and squeezed them tight. "Well there's one thing you can do for me. Go and win that pie contest for me ok" Mrs. Park said. "I will Mrs. Park thank you so much for the pie" Amira said with a beam on her face. Amira gave Mrs.
Park one last hug before she left the baker she took a sniff of the pie on her way back home. Suddenly she felt someone's arms around her legs she looked down to see a adorable face looking up at her. She stooped down to the little adorable girl's level and pinched her cheek.
"Mira you look so pretty today" the little girl said with a grin on her face. "Thank you sweety but where's your parents" Amira said now caressing the little girls hair. "Mommy and daddy's over there buying bread from the bakery" she said pointing over at the bakery Amira just came from.
"Oh... ok here take this candy and go back. To mommy and daddy's side" Amira said taking out a lollipop from her pocket. She handed the lollipop to the little girl who took it she kissed Amira on the cheek and thanked her. Before running away Amira stood up again and watched as the little girl ran away.
All kids in the village liked Amira they always envied her because of her beauty. And her pink hair that shines but Amira never wanted to be famous or popular. All she wanted was to make everyone happy and smile it was what made her happy.
Her home wasn't that huge or anything but it was a home and enough to shelter her mother and herself. She opened the door to the house and walked in before closing the door behind her. She took her shoes off and looked around for her mother the house was empty.
There was no sign of her mother she walked to the kitchen and set the basket down on the counter. She picked up the cherry pie and placed it on the counter to cool down. After that she went to look for her mother upstairs but she wasn't in her room.
Amira thought she was outside in the back in the small garden she found her mother watering the flowers. While humming to a song Amira watched as her mother peacefully watered the flowers in the garden. Her mother always watered flowers to clear her mind her mother always liked nature.
