Mrs. Park turned her attention back to Amira. "Here you go darling I specially made this lemon meringue pie for my godson" Mrs. Park said handing the pie over to Amira. Amira took the pie and smiled she was always so great ful for Mrs. Park. She placed the pie into the basket and looked down at Leo who was still glued to Mrs. Park.
"Baby tell godmother good bye" Amira said with a gentle smile on her face. Leo frowned at his mother's words he didn't want to leave he wanted to stay with his godmother for a little while longer. "Mommy do we have to go" said with a supplicate expression on his face.
"I'm sorry baby but mommy needs to head back. Before sun down to prepare dinner and grandma needs me too" Amira said. Leo gasped he nearly forgot about his grandma's illness. "Leo be good and listen to mommy ok" Mrs. Park said patting Leo's head. Leo nodded obediently and ran to his mother's side and clung to her.
'Thank you' Amira mouthed at Mrs. Park and she nodded her head as she waved them a good bye. Amira bought some potato and pumpkin before she left she wanted to make pumpkin pie since fall was coming up. She bought chicken skewers for Leo as he begged her a million times to bye him chicken skewers.
She bought tangerines for her mother as the doctor said she should eat healthy. On her way back home Amira kepted watching as she felt that someone was watching her. Leo noticed that his mother was looking worried he clenched tighter onto her gown as he walked along with her.
Since Leo was a baby he was very overprotective of his mother and never wanted to be separated from her. He had to be with her no matter what if he wasn't he would cry or become angry which makes him unleash a great evil and dark side of him.
Which is why Amira never goes anywhere without bringing him along she's scared that when the village people find out about his evil and dark side. They will think that her son was a demon baby and was born to rule by the devil's side. As soon as Amira got home she pushed Leo inside and took one more look around just to be sure they weren't followed by anyone.
Before closing the door she took her shoes off and brought Leo to the kitchen to wash his hands. "Baby what do you want for dinner" Amira asked Leo who was sitting on top of the kitchen counter swinging his feet. "Mommy I want to eat chicken noddle soup" Leo said swing his feet.
"Alright then you can have chicken noddle soup" Amira said kissing his forehead. After preparing dinner Amira placed the white dish with the soup in it on a tray. With water and a pill bottle nexted to it she picked the tray up and walked upstairs and of course with Leo tagging along right behind her.
Leo opened the door for her and she walked over to her mother's nightstand and placed the tray down on it. She looked at her mother's tired and pale body she picked her mother's head up and placed the pillow a little higher. And placed her mother's head back onto it gently she grabbed the chair that was in the room and sat on it.
She picked up and the bowl and stirred the hot soup using the silver spoon in her hand. She blew on the soup to cool it down before feeding her mother. "Mother open your mouth" Amira said hold ing the silver spoon to her mother's mouth.
She slowly opened her mouth and took the spoon in her mouth and drank the soup. After she finished she took her medication and went back to sleep Amira and Leo left the room after giving her a kiss on the forehead. Leo was eating his soup in the dinning room while Amira was in the kitchen cutting half of the lemon meringue pie for Leo to have as desert.
When suddenly there was knock at the door Leo jumped down from the chair and ran into the kitchen and clung to his mother. She looked down at her son and walked to the door she stretched her shaking hand out and grabbed hold of the door knob. She opened the door and saw four shadow knights standing right in front of her at her door step.
"Umm... excuse me is there anything I can do for you" Amira asked trying not to be scared. She knew that someone was following her but she didn't come to think that the shadow knights were the one. Had they figured out who she really was or did they just come to pester her again she wasn't quite sure but something smelled fishy to her.
"Something smells fishy here" she whispers to Leo. "Nope I don't smell anything fishy mommy" Leo whispered back sniffing the air. Amira smacked her forehead though her son was intelligent he was also a little dumb. "Yes please come with us" One of the shadow knights said.
Amira narrowed her eyebrows but she knew there was no escape. And walked out the house with Leo glued to her she bend over and picked him up and placed him on her left hip. He wrapped his arms around her neck and buried his face into her chest as she walked with the shadow knights.
They stoped in front of a black limo with tinted mirrors one of the knights opened the door and motioned for her to go inside. Amira obeyed and went inside the car there was. other person sitting across from her swirling the red wine he hand in his hand.
He took a sip of the wine and looked at Amira and the child in her hand. "Sleepy" Leo mumbled as he snuggled in his mother's embrace.
