"Your majesty it is good to see that you have arrived safely" King Fergus said. "I am also happy to see we have made it here safely" Malik said with a smile on his face. Queen Fiona noticed Amira and Leo and smiled instantly she was quite happy.
To see Malik come with a girl and a child instead of on his own when they do business together. "King Malik may I asked who they are" Queen Fiona asked. Malik turned to his left and looked at Amira and Leo who was clinging to her. He turned back to Queen Fiona and gently smiled at her.
"Ah yes that is my wife Queen Amira and my son prince Leo" he said with a happy and pleasuring smile on his face. "Well it is good to see that you are not here alone this time. But here with a wife and a child" Queen Fiona said. Malik let out a quiet little chuckle before pulling Amira closer to him and wrapping his hand around her waist.
Leo started to whine as he wanted Amira close to him too. He walked closer towards her and tugged on her dress to get her attention. Amira looked down to the little boy who was holding onto her dress. "Baby I can't right now we will play after ok" Amira whispered.
Leo frowned and nodded he let's go off her dress and stood aside to let them talk for a while. Soon they were walking down the corridor of the castle with a bunch of maids behind them. Amira had Leo in her arms as they walked beside Malik who was chatting away with King Fergus and Queen Fiona.
As they arrived at the dinning hall they were greeted by a beautiful girl. Dressed in a long green sparkling dress with red hair with her hands by her side. Her face lit up when she saw Malik she quickly ran to his side and hugged him tightly. Amira watched as the girl squeezed the life out of Malik but who was the girl.
"Iris l-let me g-go" Malik said stuttering along the way. "Why should I I'm so happy your back Malik. Did you come back to marry like you promised" she said now letting go off him. Malik cleared his throat and dusted him self off before putting his hands behind him.
"Princess Iris I did not promise to marry. So please stop assuming that I did" Malik stated. Leo leaned in to whisper something into his mother's ear. "Mommy she's princess Iris Queen Fiona and King Fergus's daughter. She's known to be very nice mischievous and sometimes mean. Once in public she announced her engagement to daddy in front of the whole kingdom. It's heard to be said that she has had a crush on daddy since child hood when they met" Leo whispered.
Leo has always been interested in history he never attend the small school in the village like the other small children. But he did like to read it was one of his favorite things to do. So all in all he learned about all types of history about each kingdom. Amira nodded at the information given by her son and turned her attention back to princess Iris who was now staring at her and Leo.
"Mother father Malik who are they" Princess Iris asked folding her arms over her chest. Before Malik could open his mouth and say something Amira had already began speaking. "My name is Amira and this is my son Leo. And don't have to worry I'm just his majesty's royal follower please don't mind me and continue on" she lied.
Malik Queen Fiona and King Fergus all gave Amira a confused look of to why she was lying. "... oh ok then well can you excuse us mother father me. And Malik have some catching up to do and as for you stay. Here I don't want you coming along listen to our conversation" Iris said linking arms with Malik and dragging him out the dinning hall.
Queen Fiona watched as they left together feeling guilty as to what her daughter did. She turned to Amira but was greeted by two maids who were standing there staring at her. "Umm... where is Queen Amira" Queen Fiona asked looking around for her. The two maids exchanged glances before looking down.
" Queen Amira has left with her son and did not tell us where she was going. She only said to inform you and and his majesty along with King Malik about her leave" one of the maids said still looking down with a pale expression on her face. "A-alright then did she look sad or anything" Queen Fiona asked.
"W-well she looked quite happy I couldn't tell her majesty" the same maid pointed out. Queen Fiona nodded and turned towards her husband who dismissed the two maids. "Honey do you she's upset about Iris and her behavior" Queen Fiona asked her husband.
King Fergus placed one of his hands on his wife's left shoulder the other on her right one. "Honey it's alright I'm not really sure why she lied but. She probably just went out for some fresh air" King Fergus said before pulling his wife into a tight hug caressing her back.
Amira placed Leo down on the ground before placing a small black cloak around him. She did the same to herself and took his hand as they left the castle and headed towards the village. As they reached the village they saw posters of a prickled purple flower. "Look baby that Scotland's national flower the purple thistle.
It's been there national emblem for centuries" Amira pointed out as she held Leo's hand. Leo stared at the poster on the wall with the picture of the purple thistle. Leo nodded and pulled his mother towards a food stand selling some type of dessert.
Leo pointed to the dessert and looked up at his mother woth pleading eyes. Amira turned towards the stand owner and looked down at the dessert. "Ah... excuse me what type of dessert is that" Amira asked pointing to it. "That's cranachan ma'am would you like to buy one" the stand owner asked.
"Yes please I'll take one" Amira said searching in the pockets of her dress to find money. Only to realize that she didn't bring any she felt really bad because Leo really wanted to have the cranachan dessert.
"I'm sorry baby but mommy didn't bring any money" Amira said looking down at Leo with an apologetic face. Leo looked down and frowned feeling disappointed. "I'll pay for it how much" a deep mysterious voice said.
"Two pounds sir" the stand owner said handing the cranachan to Amira. Amira took the cupped dessert and turned to look at the mysterious man who just payed for the cranachan for her. "Thank you" she said handing the dessert to Leo who gladly took it and started eating.
"No problem enjoy little buddy" the stranger said now spinning on his heels to leave but was stoped by Amira. "Wait I didn't get your name" Amira kind of yelled as she asked. "The names Rider" he said starting to leave again without turning back around to answer Amira's next question.
Amira had wanted to ask Rider if they would ever meet again but he didn't answer. But continued to walk anyways though she knew. he heard because he smiled.
Amira also smiled and looked down at Angel who was now half way done eating. "Come baby let's go" Amira said taking Leo's hand as they walked to the baker together.
