Nature was heard to be calm and soothing to the brain. So her mother usually spends her spare time. Outside in the back yard watering the flowers and taking in the fresh air of nature. Amira smiled and walked away and back into the kitchen. Where she prepared some supper for her mother to eat.
She shared her mother's food and sat it down onto the table and called her mother to come and eat. A few minutes later her mother came into the dining room and looked at her daughter. "Are you attending the annual spring festival" she asked.
Amira nodded and looked down her mother always told her that she should never go out to the festival. Though everyone was going to be there drunk thugs were also going to be there. Which is why Amira's mother tried to protect her and tell her not to go.
"Mother I really want to win the contest again. And plus a lot of people are counting on me" Amira said pulling the chair out for her mother to sit. Her mother sighed before taking a seat and looking at the food Amira prepared. Chicken noddle soup with a side of freshly made bread.
"Are you going to eat or are you going to get ready for the festival" Amira's mother asked looking up at her with a emotionless expression. "I will go and get ready mother will you be ok without me" Amira asked. Her mother nodded and turned to eat her supper Amira slightly smiled and ran upstairs to change for the festival.
It wasn't a fancy ball gown dress or anything but it was all she had. The money she made in the farm field wasn't enough so she had to make due with it by saving. She walked to the kitchen and picked up the pie from off the counter. "Mother I will take my leave now go to bed early" Amira said leaning in to kiss her mother on the cheek.
Her mother nodded and Amira walked out she walked all the way into town. Where the festival was being held she handed her cherry pie in to the judges. Before crossing her fingers wishing for good luck she watched as they placed her pie with the others and numbered it. They handed her a paper with her number on it contestant number four the fifth contestant.
Would be Amanda she has been the second place winner every year. Nothing has changed ever Amanda always bullied and threatened poor Amira. Because of the family Amira came from and the house she lives in. But Amira didn't care about what others say about what type of family she came from.
As long as they don't take it far then she was ok with it she's put up with Amanda since she was six years old. Amanda and her used to be best friends until Amanda realized that Amira was dragging her down and that she never changed. Amira has never changed her appearance to impress someone in her life if they don't like what she is wearing then they just don't like it.
Amira was never the girly type to put on makeup and dress fancy like the others she dressed the way she liked to dress. Amanda was holding her all time special apple pie that she made every year but seemed to never be liked by the village people. She walked passed Amira who had her arms crossed not paying any attention to Amanda.
She handed her pie to the judges and took her paper with her number on it. And went to join the others in the crowd who were dancing and singing. Amira rolled her eyes and walked over to Amanda she stood nexted to her and looked around at her surroundings.
"What afraid I might pull another prank on you like last year" Amanda asked is a sassy tone.
Amanda always pulled little dirty pranks on Amira with her friends just to make Amira a laughing stock in front of the village people. "Nope just making sure that your little minions aren't here" Amira said looking around. "Well don't worry they couldn't make it. But let me tell you Amira I will win this year" Amanda said turning to face Amira.
Amira turned to face her as well and raised an eyebrow. "But the last time I checked I won every year if I checked correctly" Amira said sarcastically before turning around and flashing her pink long hair in Amanda's face. Amanda stomped her feet and groaned in anger as she watched Amira walked off proudly.
Amira walked to the side and picked up a cup filled with apple juice. She sighed and watched as everyone had fun dancing and singing with each other. "Come on Mira you came out here to have fun.
Not just to let your enemy put you down" Amira said standing proud and tall. She poured the apple juice in her mouth and set the cup down before going out and dancing and having fun. But she suddenly felt dizzy as everything around her became blurry and fuzzy. Was it really apple juice she drank or was it something else.
She saw a man wearing a black cloak pushing his way through the crowd. She ran over to him and grabbed his hand and pulled him into the middle. "What are you doing everyone else is having fun and your not" she said jumping up and down and dancing. He looked at her with a puzzled look on his face.
She shook her hand and took his hand dancing around with him before they came to a stop. Where the both of them were staring in each others eyes she could feel him piercing through her emerald green eyes. And she staring back into his dark black eyes which kind of scared her a little bit but she didn't mind at all.
He leaned in closer to her lips closing his eyes and placing a gently kiss on her soft pink lips. The nexted morning Amira woke up the a hard ach in her head she looked around the room to realized that she wasn't in her room.
She turned to look nexted to her to see a black haired guy laying nexted to her in a deep sleep. His back was turned to her so she gently groaned as she sat up in the bed and look around for her clothes. She picks up her clothes and got dressed quickly she took a quick glance at him before leaving the room.
She nearly fainted when she saw his ruby red celtic Irish necklace. The necklace has been passed down in the imperial royal family for generations by each of the family.
The only person who has that type of
necklace now is the King his mother and father gifted it to him. For his birthday the day before he claimed the throne and killed his distant family memebers.
