Chapter 3 - SHOCKING BEGINNING

Return Of Black Water

Mikoto scratched the edges of her bandages irritably. She had only worn them for a day but they were already starting to feel uncomfortable.

"Don't scratch at them." Said Wendy as she walked besides her. "You'll only give yourself a rash that way."

"Can't I at least take them off for a little bit?" Said Mikoto. "At this rate, I think I'll be getting a rash anyways."

Gray, who was walking nearby, suddenly went pink. Charle harrumphed at him indignantly.

"Oh get a grip you. It's not like Mikoto will be taking her bandages off in the open. And you better wipe that look off before she sees, or you will probably be as burned as a blown up lightbulb."

Mikoto, not taking any notice of this, fortunately for Gray, rubbed her bare shoulders uncomfortably. The sun in this canyon region was extremely hot and unmerciful. At this rate, she would probably get a sunburn bad enough for her red guild mark to camouflage with.

"How long before we get out of these canyons?" Asked Mikoto. "I don't think I can take any more of this sun."

"Aye." Said Happy wearily as he sat atop of Mikoto's head again. "I think my fur has melted into my skin.

Gravix, who now walked at the head of the group, spoke up. "Don't worry, we're almost to the Black Flood Marshes. You couldn't wish for a cooler place. Not to mention the supply of clean fresh water is nearly limitless thanks to the place's unique biological filtration system."

"Man I wish we were there now..."said Natsu miserably. All of a sudden Natsu saw a dense line of trees at the end of the canyon. "WE'RE HERE!!!! WOOHOO, FRESH WATER HERE I COME!!!"

Natsu ran for the forest laughing joyously but suddenly found himself tripping thanks to Gravix using his magic to increase the weight of Natsu's nose.

Natsu got up and looked at Gravix. "Whaaaatt!? Come on, I'm thirsty!!"

"Don't just rush in Natsu." Said Gravix. "Though that place is much nicer in comparison to the canyons, this marsh is also the border to Hydra Head's territory. Best chances are that Aqualas will be watching the whole place."

"How would Aqualas be watching us?" Asked Erza wearily.

"Aqualas can use water as a looking glass." Said Gravix. "By manipulating the water he can see anyone, anywhere, as long as that person is near a mass of water. Whether it's a puddle,or the ocean, the water acts like eyes. The water can also serve as a doorway too, he could jump in a puddle in your garden, then end up in a river a mile away. As long as he has water, Aqualas will always be the omniscient one in the Black Flood Marshes. It's how the marshes got its name in the first place."

"So how do we make sure that this Aqualas guy isn't watching us?" Asked Gray.

"We can't." Said Gravix. "In fact Aqualas has been watching you ever since Natsu, Lucy, Mikoto, and Happy first started off from Magnolia town. The only reason he hasn't attacked yet, is because right now Black Whisper doesn't feel like he needs to. Right now I'm leading you to the lair of Hydra Head. Why go through the trouble of capturing Mikoto if she's coming directly to him?"

"So then what's the danger?" Mikoto asked. "He won't attack us like you said."

"The problem is that Aqualas has a second side to his personality." Said Gravix ominously. "Something about the nature of that swamp...changes him..."

"Uhhhhh..." Said Mikoto now a little creeped out. "What do you mean by it changing him.....?"

"He becomes a complete psycho, he disobeys orders, he'll sometimes kill harmless travelers for the joy of it. He's like a laughing psychotic gremlin. The rest of Hydra Head has a name for him: The God Slaying Water Demon. While it is likely that Aqualas will still follow most of his orders even in that feral state, we will definitely need to be on our gaurd...especially at night...that's when he likes to feed."

By the end of Gravix's warnings, Natsu, Mikoto, Lucy, Happy and Wendy were huddled together with scared looks in their faces. While Erza, Gray, and Charle just stood there looking disturbed.2

"Well that was...enlightening." Said Mikoto gulping.

"Just keep away from the water at night, and you'll be fine." Said Gravix. "Now who wants to get out of this heat?" Gravix started walking towards the dense trees.

"Er...can we stay out here and just hope for the best?" Happy asked nervously

"If that's how you're going to think, then you better get off my head now." Said Mikoto. "Because I'm going in whether I like it or not."

"No! Your hair is so soft and comfy!!"

"Then brace yourself, because I'm going towards that swamp!"

After around 3 hours, Mikoto and the rest of the Fairy Tail group were trudging through the muddy plant covered ground of the swamp trying to avoid falling into water or walking into trees. The sun was almost set in the horizon and they had found a bare patch to make camp. That night, as they slept, Gray awoke to feel a strange wet trickling sound near his ears. Gray jumped out of his sleeping bag in a panic.

"Ahhhhhh!!!! He's going to feed on me!!!!!"

"But Juvia would never eat her darling Gray!"

"Eh?!"

The water which Gray had thought belonged to Aqualas, was actually Juvia in the form of a puddle of water. Juvia morphed back into her human form blushing.

"Juvia only meant to watch Gray as he slept, she used to do it every night as she hid under her darling Gray's bed."

The others who sleeping nearby, woke up groggily.

"Eh?..." Said Lucy rubbing her eyes. "What's Juvia doing here....?"

"Juvia?" Said Mikoto trying to clear her head as she got up from her sleeping area. "Am I dreaming?"

"Is this a member of your guild?" Gravix asked Erza.

"Yes." Said Erza. "Though I can't imagine why she would be here of all places."

Suddenly, a crashing was heard coming through the woods, and Mirajane burst through the trees carrying a large pack.

"Oh you found them Juvia." Said Mira cheerfully. "Well that makes things easier."

"MIRAJANE!!!???" Everyone but Gravix shouted at once.

"Okay, somebody had better explain to me what is going on!!!" Said Mikoto as sparks jumped of her bangs.

"Oh, please allow me to explain." Said Mira with her usual smile. "You see Master has recently discovered some disturbing news regarding your current mission. So he sent me and Juvia to back you up. Oh, and he's also gone off to find Gajeel and Laxus who are supposed to only be around a few miles from this area."

"Gramps is here too?!" Said Natsu with a rowdy smile. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA , Hydra Head is going to be eating dust!!!"

"What kind of news did he find disturbing?" Asked Erza in an extremely serious tone.

Mira's face fell. "I'm not sure....but he looked worried, almost scared."

The entire group went silent for a moment. What kind of deadly news could scare someone like Markarov (besides hearing that Zeref was in his closet drinking all his beer, but that prank didn't end particularly well for the Natsu).8

Suddenly Juvia doubled over groaning.

"Juvia! Are you okay!?" Gray exclaimed.

"Juvia....is not.....feeling well....aaaaaaagggggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Suddenly Juvia's mid section turned into water that turned ink black. From the ink black water emerged the face of Aqualas, who's facial muscles had contorted into a look of psychotic glee and blood lust.13

"PEEK A BOO!!! WILL THE FAIRIES COME OUT AND PLAY!!!!!?AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Palace Of Dragons

Nearly everyone screamed in surprise, jumping back from Juvia as Aqualas stumbled out of her torso. Juvia collapsed to the ground unconscious as Aqualas got up looking thirsty for destruction.

"Darn it." said Gravix. "He used the water mage's special properties as a gateway!! You bastard Aqualas!"

Aqualas grinned with a psycho look in his eyes. "My,my Gravix. Hanging out with the Fairies are you now? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! That gives me the perfect excuse to tear you apart!!!"

Aqualas puffed up his cheeks. "Divine Breath of The Water God!!!!"

An enourmous geyser of black water shot out of Aqualas's mouth. The move would have probably taken the entire group out in one go if it wasn't for Gravix. Gravix held his hands out and the water seperated and began rotating around him thanks to his gravity.

"Run!!" shouted Gravix. "Trust me there is no fighting him when he gets like this!! I'll hold him off for now!!"

Mirajane suddenly glowed with a purplish energy. "Take Over: Satan Soul!!"

Mira suddenly changed. Her hair flew up in a strange wild position, her eyes grew angry and demonic and her hands changed into scaly talons. giant bat-like wings sprouted out of her back and she wore a strange red one piece suit.

"I'm not really one for violence." said Mira now licking her lips in a frightening manner. "But a demon has to have her fun once in a while...."

"So that's why they call Mira Fairy Tail's 2nd female monster....." said Mikoto with a frightened expression on her face. "I don't think I'll ever see her the same way again..."

"Now you know how I felt." said Lucy also looking extremely scared.

"Demon Blast!!" Mira thrusted her talons out and an immense blast of purplish dark energy shot out at Aqualas, who had a ginormous wall of black water rise out of the heavily soaked ground to block it in an explosion of steam.

"WOWEEEEE!!!!" Aqualas shouted grinning with his eyes completely unfocused like a chameleon's. "That is SOME POWER!!! I think I'm going to like you!!!!!!!"

"Time to pick your poison." said Mira with a demonic expression on her face. "What would you like? Pain? or utter destruction?"

Aqualas laughed again. "I don't care what it is as long as I get to tear you to pieces!!!"

"Don't fight him!!" Gravix shouted. "All he's been doing up until now has been just toying with us. But if you convince him to unleash his full power....!!!!!"

Aqualas raised up his hands. "DEVINE DEMON OF THE WATER GOD!!!!!!!" a giant wave of water began to surge up around Aqualas and he became a figure covered in black water. The black water figure grew larger and larger until finally....... his ginormous head broke through the trees and touched the very clouds in the sky. The black water giant that had to be around 2000 ft tall grew massive horns and four large arms, each one bore a katana made of black water. It had two glowing red eyes. The demon opened it's watery mouth and let out a roar that shook the very earth itself.4

Natsu pointed a finger at the new threat. "Th-thats.....th-thats...th-thats.....I don't even know!!"

"It's ginormous!" said Gray with a shocked expression on his face. "How would we even beat that!?"

Erza picked up Juvia and began to run. "Come everyone!!! Gravix is right, there's no fighting that thing!! We have to move before it's too late!!!"

Everyone did what Erza said and began to run into the swamp, hoping against hope that the water demon would lose sight of them. The monster swiped it's sword at the group, carving a canyon sized fissure in the ground as it barely missed them.

We're not going to make it! Thought Mikoto frantically as the demon began to stride towards them raising it's swords. Not unless....

Mikoto desperately began to calculate as fast as her psychic mind would allow and summoned up as much esper energy as she could. She took aim, and fired the single largest and most powerful lightning bolt she had ever summoned with her esper powers. The lightning bolt soared through the sky and exploded right against one of the demon's great red eyes. The demon reeled back covering it's face as he was temporarily blinded.

Suddenly Mikoto felt someone pick her up by the waist. It was Mira using her demon wings to fly.

"Come on!!" said Mira. "We can't afford to try fighting it!!"

Mira flew over to what looked like an old moss covered stone building, with stairs that seemed to go underground. The others were waiting at the doorway, beckoning for Mira and Mikoto to hurry. Mira put on an extra burst of speed and flew through the wide door. Natsu and Gray both heaved at the heavy stone doors, shutting them inside.

For a moment there was nothing but darkness. Then a light shone out as Natsu held a small ball of flame in his hand, revealing the ancient stairway before them.

"Do you think it's gone?" asked Mira as she reverted back to her normal form.

"It's better that we don't wait to find out." said Gravix. "And that we start moving forward." Gravix pointed a finger down the dark stairwell."

The others nodded and began moving down the stairs.

"What is this place?" Wendy asked looking at the old moss covered stone walls.

"It's called the Palace of Dragons." said Gravix. "An old civilization used to live here eons before this became a swamp. This place where they worshipped their diety, Dravis Lord of Destruction, is one of the only remaining structures. To be honest, we are probably the first people in here since around 2000 years ago."

"Do you think Aqualas will follow us in here?" Mikoto asked.

"No." said Gravix. "As it turns out, whether he's in his psychotic state or not, Aqualas is actually extremely claustrophobic. Being inside any enclosed space will drive him to tears. I wouldn't call this place safe, to be honest I don't know much about it, but at least it will keep out Aqualas. Actually it will even keep out Black Whisper, though I'm not exactly sure why he's afraid of this place.

"I think I know." said Gray stopping at the foot of the long stairwell.

Gray was looking at an old engraving. It was full of horrid images. Many of those images being too gruesome to describe in this book (Thank goodness, I think I would die if I had to describe something like that).

"This place." said Gray gritting his teeth. "Whatever the name may be.....it's evil."

"Not just evil." said Natsu with a horrified expression on his face. "It's sick....who would name this place after dragons!!?"

Wendy merely whimpered and hugged Mikoto burying her face in her bandaged side. Mikoto put a hand on Wendy's head with dumbstruck expression on her face. "Just what kind of civilization was this!?"

"Whatever it was." said Happy. "Their fish probably tasted horrible."

"We just can't move further into this place." said Mira with hands covering her mouth. "We can't!!"

"We don't have a choice." said Gravix with a quivering shocked voice. "This palace is supposed to run all over the swamp. It's the only way we'll be safe from Aqualas."

The group reluctantly continued through the dark hallway. For miles, it seemed like miles at least. They traveled down a hall with no turns or end or doors, nothing but gruesome pictures of mutilations. The dead coming back to life, dragons devouring poison. In all the pictures, one large black dragon seemed to show up again and again, every time being portrayed as some herebringer of the appocalypse. At first Mikoto thought she was looking at the dragon Achnologia, but as the pictures grew more detailed, she realized she was looking at a different dragon. If Natsu's description of Achnologia was correct, then no way did he have purple eyes.

"That's Dravis, Lord of Destruction." explained Gravix as they walked. "He was around eons before Achnologia ever came into being, and long before Dragon Slayers ever existed. They his breath razed a thousand dimensions along with this one. It is also said that he will bring about the appocalypse of the Multiverse."

The entire group finally came to a worn stone door at the end of the hall. The door was so heavy, that it took Erza's Giant armor and Gravix's gravity manipulation to open it. They came out into a vast dark room with a cieling so high, it actually couldn't be seen. Pillars the size of sky scrapers held the place up, and what appeared to be an assortment of buildings everywhere spread out along the place. It was an entire underground city larger then even the largest towns in Fiore.

Before Mikoto could comment on any of this, a deep voice spoke out from the gloom. A voice that sent a chill up her spine and a shook the earth beneath her feet.

Dravis Lord of Destruction

"Who....dares.....wake me...?" The deep ancient voice asked once more.

Everyone went silent. Somehow they knew that it was much better if the owner of that voice didn't notice them. Mikoto suddenly felt a deepest fear permeating her heart. As if all the dragon blood in her veins was screaming at her to run and hide.

"Thundaarixx?....." Said the voice. "Is that you?...I can smell you....you cannot hide Thundaarix...I know not what made you stupid enough to come down and face me...but you will not leave here alive...."

Out of the dark underground sky loomed the head of a ginormous dragon. It's scales were rusted and dusty with age, what used to be pitch black was now a dark reflective gray. The dragon's massive head was comparable to a mountain. The bottom of his jaw seemed to cover the entire city. Each glowing purple eye was 50 times the size of Magnolia Town's square.

The run away instinct in Mikoto's veins seemed to scream louder as she hugged her shoulders, shivering violently. Hoping against hope that the dragon would overlook them. But she knew it was useless. That dragon was a hunter. One who could smell the blood of his prey, especially if that was a dragon, or a juicy little Dragon Slayer with dragon's blood.

P-please don't notice us! Mikoto screamed in her head. P-please don't notice us!!

Miktoto's fear came true when the dragon dipped it's head sideways and let it's one massive purple eye stare down upon the the group.

"You...girl...you smell like Thundaarix...interesting, I wonder why might that be?"

"Eek...."said Happy as Natsu's jaw seemed to drop several feet.

Mikoto tried to say something. But fear seemed to be clogging her throat worse then anything in Fiore or Academy City she had ever seen.

"Ahh....." Said Dravis licking his sky scraper sized teeth. "I can smell the fear radiating from you the most out all your little friends. That is to be expected, dragons were born to fear me.....the first of their kind...."

Dravis gave a booming laugh that shook the entire underground city. "Now I remember you.....you're the one whose supposed to destroy me....Mikoto Misaka.

Mikoto finally stuttered out a few words. "H-how d-do you-?"

"Know you?" Dravis finished chuckling. "I know all things fledgling dragon.....I hear things in the trees.....the air...the lightning.....the flames....all elements bend to my will...I am everywhere little fledgling dragon."1

"Oh yeah!?" Cried out Happy getting over his initial fear. "What did I have for breakfast last Tuesday!?"

"Salmon."

Happy gasped. "H-he's the real deal...."

"I must admit though..." Said Dravis. "Though my visions saw you as you are....I never thought you would be such a pathetic quivering spec....maybe my vision isn't what it used to be....."

"If that is all you see in her!" Said Erza bravely. "Then you know nothing you old lizard!"

The Dragon's huge eye swiveled to look at the tiny Erza. "Erza Scarlet I believe....a minor nuisance, but a nuisance with a heart to conquer mountains....Yes....your role in the coming events will be quite.....interesting."

The Dragon's eye swiveled back to look at Mikoto. "Little dragon, it is hopeless....give up on this ridiculous prophecy....your mother the Thunder Dragon wouldn't blame you....."

"P-Prophecy?" Said Mikoto. "What are you talking about?"

"Oh yes....." Said Dravis. "Markorav hasn't told you yet.....of course he didn't know you were the one until recently...Why else would he have come after you in this vendetta against that pathetic dark guild? He actually seeks to protect you....."

Dravis gave off another booming laugh. "A darkness is coming...I can smell it in the very air.....feel it in the very heartbeat of the Earth....the darkness is closing in.....a darkness even colder then I or that strange man Zeref. But before it comes.....I shall once more raze the worlds beyond this plane of reality......I wonder if Aleister remembers me.....that old magician has always been extremely irritating....."

Dravis stopped his talking for a moment to look at the entire group. " Fairy Tail, you thought that when you stopped Zeref, that it was the end.....but you were wrong.....it was merely just the beginning... The psychic who bears a dragon within her, and the sister who holds 103,000 forbidden texts in her head....these are only two pieces of the greater puzzle....."

"I don't know about you guys." Whispered Gray. "But I think this guy is just a few feathers short of a turkey. Let's get out of here before he decides we would make some nice jelly beans."

"You think I'm going to eat you?" Said Dravis now sounding extremely amused. "Admittedly that would be a whole lot easier. But a being of my power is restricted by certain rules.....I cannot interfere with your puny pathetic lives until the Fates deem I can...but my servants on the other hand......"

"Servants?" Said Mira now looking around the area they were standing.

"Yes," said Dravis chuckling. "Don't you know which part of the ancient city you are standing?...I believe the ones who built the place called it...the hatchery."

Mikoto looked around frantically letting her eyes adjust to the light. They were surrounded by what appeared to be mounds of refrigerator sized eggs. She didn't need the dragonish instinct inside her to tell her what these were.

"They have been waiting over an eon to finally hatch." Said Dravis. "I hope that you provide good appetizers for them."

"Appetizers?" Erza growled.

"Yes...they have to have a starting course before the rest of the multiverse fills their bellies. And don't you worry little fledgling dragon....I will save your mother and Academy City for dessert."

"Oh man!" Said Natsu. "It's the Grand Magic Games all over again!" (To those of you who watch only the anime and do not read the manga, yes, baby dragons attack the grand magic games.)

Dravis retracted his ginormous head back into the darkness laughing. "Goodbye....Fairy Tail.....glad we could have you for dinner....."

Suddenly a dragon's head burst out of one of the eggs, next came the entire body. The wingless dinosaur like creature stood up on it's hind legs and let out a strange cry that was echoed among the countless other eggs which were also beginning to hatch.1

"Not good." Said Gravix. "Nothing is hungrier then a baby dragon. They're like tiger sharks, they'll eat anything."

"Their numbers are too great!" Said Erza. "Run!!"

Everyone but Mikoto began to run. Mikoto just fell to her knees hugging her shoulders wide eyed and shivering. What was going on? What about Dravis had just set her on edge like this?

"Mikoto come on!!" Lucy and Wendy each took Mikoto by the arm and ran with her as the mountain of baby dragons began to notice that their first meal was getting away.

An avalanche of baby dragons came at them, piling over each other, each determined to get at this new source of food. And still everyone ran, Mikoto barely able to do so for a reason she could not fully comprehend. They ran in between the buildings until they came to what appeared to be a long stairwell going upwards. However before they could reach the stairs, hundreds of baby dragons crawled downwards from the walls of the underground to block their way.

"We're doomed!" Shouted Happy hugging Charle. "Charle, I want you to have all my fish!"

"But I'm going to die too." Said Charle shaking her head.

"Okay, then I give all my fish to charity!"

Suddenly a rain of of powerful yellow thunderbolts came down on the baby dragons, blasting them away from the stairs. Everyone stared for a moment, then looked at Mikoto.

"Wasn't me" said Mikoto.

"Come on now!! I thought you all were better then this!!"

Everyone looked up at the top of one of the nearest buildings to see none other then Laxus Dreyer standing there with a grin on his face.

"Letting a bunch of stupid lizards beat you? Not what I would expect from Fairy Tail's strongest team!" Said Laxus. "Come on, why don't we show them what Fairy Tail is really made of!?"

"Geeheehee!! I couldn't agree more." Said another voice from behind Laxus.

The owner of the voice walked over to stand by Laxus. It was Gajeel Redfox, Fairy Tail's own Iron Dragon Slayer. "Hey Salamander! Don't be such a wuss! Let's beat these guys down together!"

Natsu grinned. "Guess I can't argue with a challenge like that!"

So that's Laxus. Thought Mikoto. The other Thunder Dragon....

"As much as I would like to beat every single one of them down to the grave." Said Laxus. "From the looks of it there appears to be millions of them! You guys go with Gajeel to the surface, And I'll do some mess cleaning down here to help give some cover."

The baby dragons who had watched this scene with a confused air about them, began to regain their momentum and started moving forward.

"Oh no you don't!" Shouted Gajeel leaping from his perch on top of the building and landing in front of the dragons. "Rod Of The Iron Dragon!!!"

A long thick metal rod grew out from Gajeel's fist, and he swung it around, knocking the baby dragons over like dominoes. "Well what are you waiting for!? Go!!"

The others quickly ran up the stairs as Gajeel followed up the rear. Laxus landed in front of the stairway and faced the seemingly limitless army of baby dragons. "So....Gramps really got me into it this time huh?"

Laxus instantly became cloaked in brilliant yellow lightning. "Bring it on lizards...."

After around 3 hours of hurried climbing, the group burst out of an old worn building on what appeared to be the southern end of the marsh, gasping for breath. The only ones who still seemed to be going were Gajeel and Natsu who gotten into a racing competition about halfway up. ("I could totally get to the top faster then you!" "Think again Salamander!")

"Wait,"said Mira. "Where's Laxus!?"

Suddenly a huge bolt of lightning soared out of the cave entrance as it collapsed from behind and struck the ground nearby. When the smoke cleared, Laxus was standing there looking a little battered, but otherwise okay.

"Collapsed the entire passage." Said Laxus. "If those guys want to get at us, they'll have a lot of swamp to clear first from the other end."

"Is this some kind of beach?" Asked Mikoto looking around.

Indeed they had come to what was a white sandy beach. If not for the dark foreboding swamp nearby, it might have looked rather nice.

"Yes, this is what is known as the Shore Of Sorrows."

The entire guild whirled around to see Markorav walking towards them from the shore, his white coat flapping in the wind. "Congratulations, you are now standing in the main part of Hydra Head's domain. And now, the real fight begins....."

Railgun Captured

The following afternoon, it was decided that the group would camp out around 30 from the shore line. As far as Mikoro was concerned, it didn't matter where they camped, as long as they were as far away from Dravis as possible.

She couldn't tell why, but everything about Dravis sickened her to her very bones. The way his ancient deep voice seemed to place gruesome images in her head. How he called her a "fledgling dragon" like she was nothing but a baby compared to him. What scared her even more was how she seemed to be the one who was the most afraid of Dravis.

When she confided in Erza about this, the female warrior said. "Everyone has something they fear above all other things. Dravis and the ones who worshipped him were nightmares. It's only natural to be afraid of them."

But that hadn't comforted Mikoto one bit. Something told her that there was more to this fear then just plain phobia. This worried her. Was she weak? Nobody who knew her would have thought so. She was The Railgun, third strongest esper in Academy City, also known as The Electric Princess, Ace Of Tokwadai Middle School. And in this world she was The Electric Berserker, Fairy Tail's third toughest female. But on the inside she knew she was vulnerable. Drives had shown her that much...

Mikoto was sitting in the middle of the girl's tent thinking this, when her thoughts were interrupted by Juvia who had just entered the tent.

"Oh! Hey Juvia. Feeling better?"

Juvia nodded happily. "Juvia is feeling much better thanks to Wendy!"

Mikoto sighed. "Well at least someone is okay today."

Juvia frowned. "Are you okay? Juvia notices you seem a little down today..."

"I'm feeling okay." Said Mikoto trying to look cheerful. "Honestly I am."

"Well.....Juvia just wanted to tell you that Master wants to see you."

"Huh? What about?"

Juvia shrugged. "Juvia doesn't know, but it did sound important."

Mikoto got out of the tent and walked over to the shoreline where Markorav was sitting in what appeared to be a meditative position. His grandson Laxus stood nearby watching the sea line push and pull, if there had been a sunset, this would have been a picture perfect scene.

"Erm...."Mikoto said unsure of whether she should get Markorav's attention. This was after all, the first time she had actually ever spoken to her guild master. Despite Markorav's short dwarf like stature, she felt kind of intimidated.

Markorav turned around and gave a wide grin. "Hey there, don't just stand around like a nervous goose, sit down and have a drink!" Markorav pulled a small bottle from under his coat.

"Umm.....I'm 14....though I think I'll be turning 15 next month." ( Mikoto Misaka's birthday is May 2nd)

"Oh,"said Markorav nervously putting the bottle back into his coat. "I thought you were Mira for a moment there....hehehehehe....he....he."

"You....are kind of weird Master." Said Mikoto.

"Now why do all women have that impression of me?" Muttered Markorav.

"Because you are." Said Laxus. "And the only one who drinks heavier then you is Cana."

"Now, now." Said Markorav clearing his throat. "We aren't here to talk about my many quirks.....this is a more serious matter."

Markorav looked at Mikoto a moment before speaking. "So I hear you've met Dravis...one of the first dragons to walk across the multiverse. Hmmm....it was bound to happen eventually....but I had hoped your meeting him wouldn't come so soon."

Markorav sighed. "It's time I told you something that I should have known to tell you ever since you became a member of this guild. Admittedly I didn't know who you were exactly at the time, but that is still inexcusable."

"This wouldn't have something to do with some kind of prophecy would it?" Asked Mikoto remembering what Dravis had said back in the ancient underground city.

Markorav nodded. "There is a prophecy. Half of it was made in this world while the other half was made in your world. I don't know the exact lettering or words of it, but it tells of a psychic who is also born of dragon's blood who is destined to save the multiverse from Dravis, that was what the half made in this world said at least, what the second half says...well I don't know if Aleister was ever keen on sharing."

"W-wait a second!" Said Mikoto feeling overwhelmed. "You know about my world? And not only that, you even know about Academy City's main superintendent!?"

"Of course!" Said Markorav. "Because I have been to your world before, and so has every Fairy Tail master before me. (Unless you count Macao .)"

"I-I don't understand." Said Mikoto.

"There are two great secrets Fairy Tail possesses." Said Markorav. "Both can only be known by the masters because of strict tradition, and are shown to the masters when they first become the new guild master. The first is a secret that lies behind locked doors in our guild hall, something which I will only refer to as Fairy Tail's darkness. The second, however I shall reveal to you because of your great involvement in it. It is that this guild was the first ever and probably the only ever to discover a gate in between your world and ours. And the first Earthland wizard to ever walk in that world was none other then Master Mavis, our guild's founder."

Mikoto looked at Markorav stunned. "You.....and the other masters....they actually?"

Markorav nodded. "The portal only opens whenever a new Guild Master is accepted. Gildarts himself walked in your world during the brief period I made him Guild Master. "(Gildarts went and made Markorav Guild Master again because he didn't think the role suited him.)

"It's a mysterious portal." Said Markorav stroking his mustache. "It doesn't open because a new master is made, it actually just happens to open at those opportune moments. I do not know if it's because it has it's own form of intelligence, or if it's because of how Mavis designed it, but it proves that our worlds are both linked. And because of the prophecy, you are one of main links in the chain that holds our worlds together."

"It's.....so much." Said Mikoto feeling like the wind had been knocked out of her.

"No kidding...." Said Laxus. "This is actually the first I've heard of this."

"It's better that you know the truth." Said Markorav. "That way you can be on your guard. And there is another issue I must address... I understand that you must be feeling quite mentally wounded from your meeting with Dravis."

Mikoto remained silent at this.

"Let me tell you now that it is not because you are weak." Said Markorav. "Dravis made you feel that way because you have dragon's blood.....all dragons have a natural instinctual fear of Dravis, even Achnologia. It is not known how this was developed, but a Dragon or Dragon Born who stands in the presence of Dravis will not find it pleasant, it's a miracle you actually didn't faint."

Mikoto stood up and wiped a tear from her eye. "Thank you for telling me this....Master."

Markorav nodded cheerfully. "If you need anything, I'm always around.....except on date night!! Whoo!!"2

"Date night?"

"Don't ask." Laxus whispered to Mikoto.

Mikoto walked back to the girl's tent thinking about what Markorav had told her. It was just so much...to think she was part of something so huge.

Mikoto opened the flap to the tent, and that's when things grew very hectic. The first thing Mikoto noticed were Lucy and Juvia floating unconscious in the air, as if on some kind of invisible wires. The next thing she saw was the hooded and cloaked Black Whisper standing in the middle of the room.

"You!!" A ginormous spark jumped out of Mikoto's bangs. "Who!?"

"I am the one who has been seeking you for so long.....fellow esper." Said Black Whisper. (Mikoto was unconscious when Black Whisper first appeared to Fairy Tail in the canyons, so this is technically the first time they have met.)

"You're Black Whisper." Growled Mikoto as sparks began to jump farther out her bangs.

Black Whisper put a finger to the lips that obviously wasn't visible beneath his hood. "Make a move, or even call for help, and I will use my Teleportal ability to send these interfering scum 50,000 feet into the atmosphere, and I am pretty sure these particular mages don't have wings."

"What do you want from me!?" Mikoto demanded. "Let them go!!"

"What do I want?" Black Whisper removed his hood.

Mikoto wanted to scream. Under the hood wasn't a face, but a mass of swirling purplish black vortexes. Inside the vortexes she could see flashes of different locations. A desert, a town, a mountain top, a forest..... The man's face was pretty much made up of swirling portals of energy.

"What I want....." Said Black Whisper. "Is everything."1

Suddenly a round purplish vortex opened from below Mikoto's feet and she fell through the portal, yelling as she fell down the long dark spatial tunnel.

"And now." Said Black Whisper. "The real fun begins."

The Two Dragon Borns

"Natsu wait!!!!" Shouted Master Markarov. "Don't be reckless!!!!"

"Come on Gramps!!!" shouted Natsu. "If they expect to take one of our own and not get a full helping of buttkick pudding, then they're out of their minds!!!! I'm gonna find that stupid Black Whisper and fry him to a crisp!!!!!!"

The entire group had just recently learned about Mikoto's kidnapping. Natsu and Gray had just been coming back from collecting firewood when they heard a slight commotion in the girl's tent that ended with a yell. Natsu had opened the tent flap just in time to find Black Whisper dissapearing through a portal, his "face" shimmering like a strange lapse in vision. Now Natsu was currently being held back by a combination of Lucy, Gray, and Happy, as he was attempting to storm off to Hydra Head's base.

"Natsu, we can't afford to storm the base without any sort of strategy." said Gravix who was standing nearby. "There are a total of 50 mages besides Black Whisper in Hydra Head. Each of them are almost strong enough to take on the Oracion Seis single handidly. Admittidly, I am only ranked 35th in strength among them. While their base is only usually ever occupied by around four or three of them at a time, that number alone could render us helpless."

"Then what are we supposed to do!!?" shouted Natsu. "Who knows what they're doing to Mikoto right now!!?"

"We plan...but we do it quickly." said Markorav. "Gravix, who should we worry about most besides Black Whisper?"

"That would be Aqualas." Said Gravix. "He's the strongest mage in the entire guild, and he has strength comparable to that of a Wizard Saint. In fact he's one of the only dark mages who was ever able to defeat Iron Rock Jura without breaking much of a sweat. Then there is Zvesda, he's ranked 15th, but he's also the most loyal to Black Whisper. He would sacrafice his life to his master's cause. Then there is Night Reveler. No one knows his real name, but he's definitely involved in this, he was recently sent on a mission involving Mikoto but I don't know what."

"What can Night Reveler do?" asked Gray. "Cause that name sounds like a nocturnal psychopath."

"That's because he is a nocturnal psychopath." said Gravix. "He's the only one more psychotic then Aqualas when he's in The Black Flood Marshes. And his power is absolutely disturbing, he can bring back the dead....."

"He can WHAT!?" Said Happy his eyes popping. "He can make zombies and stuff!?"

"Not exactly." Said Gravix. "More like he can literally fully bring back anyone who has died previously. There is a limit though. The number of human souls he can bring back each year stands at a mere 5. And he can't bring back any wizards whose magic power near or equal Zeref. But he has definitely brought some pretty big deal guys before... Other then that I'm not sure what Night Reveler's other abilities are, just that he's ranked 20th out of the 50 members." (Just to clarify, Night Reveler will not make his debut until Book 2. So Fairy Tail won't have to worry about any ressurected bad guys....yet.)

"So in all we have only around 4 or 3 of them to deal with." said Laxus. "But each one of them is supposed to be super strong."

"Then the best way to go at it.." said Erza. "Would be for us to hold off each of them 2 to a single opponent, while 4 of us go in to face Black Whisper."

"I'll go, Black Whisper is going get his butt totally whooped!" shouted Natsu angrilly.

"Count me in." said Gajeel. "I wan't to see this esper guy for myself."

"I-I want to go too." said Wendy.

"Well as long as we have three Dragon Slayers going at it, we might as well have a fourth." said Laxus. "Count me in."

Markorav nodded. "Then we'll leave Black Whisper to you four. Well then...let's take down Hydra Head!!"

"YEAH!!!" shouted the entire guild.

"Just you wait Mikoto." said Natsu. "We're going to make sure those idiots never touch you again!!"

Mikoto opened her eyes. She sitting in what appeared to be a dark roomy cave surrounded by torch light. Her entire body was wrapped in chains and there seemed to be a device around her neck that was emitting a strange buzzing noise.

"Like it? I invented it myself." Black Whisper was sitting on a throne at the end of the cave, his 'face' constantly shifting and moving. "It emits a sound frequency which interferes with brain calculations, you won't be able to use any esper abilities here. And the chains restrain magic energy, so I don't think we'll have to worry about any of your Dragon Slayer magic."

"What do you want with me?" growled Mikoto. "Why did you go through all this trouble? Capturing Gildarts, hurting my friends, why?"

"That's actually quite a long story." Said Black Whisper. "If you know who I am, then you probably heard that I dissapeared from Academy City 20 years ago."

"Of course." said Mikoto. "You were the first ever level 5 and the first one to ever gain the Teleportal ability. Anyone would notice if you were gone."

"Back then I was as old as you are now, perhaps a year older." said Black Whisper. "The term level 5 was like a myth. All thought that it would be impossible to reach. The moment the Skill Analyzer said I was level 5, I was an instant celebrity, everyone thought I was the greatest. But I wanted more....I wanted greater. Tell me fellow esper...has anyone back in Academy City reached level 6 yet?"

"No." said Mikoto. "But that wasn't for lack of trying...."

"Ah yes." said Black Whisper. "I know what you mean. You are referring to the Radio Noise project, am I correct?"

Mikoto went wide eyed with shock. "H-how do you know about that!?"

"My esper nature ever since my...accident....allowed me to be slightly omnicient of the going ons in both this world and the world we come from. I know all about how they used Accelerator to mercilessly slaughter those....clones...in order to boost him to level 6. A pity, if it weren't for that strange boy Touma Kamijou, they might have actually succeeded."

Black Whisper sighed and the portals on his face flickered for a moment to reveal a familiar city skyline, in a place Mikoto knew so well. "You see I desired level 6. However, the scientists told me to wait. They wanted to use Tree Diagram to analyze more data before we made the attempt. But I was impatient, I constantly experimented with my abilities until finally... Well, you see what I look like now, plus I was sent to this world with absolutely no way to return." (Tree Diagram was Academy City's greatest super computer that orbited around Earth in a satalite. The satalite was shot down and destroyed by a magic blast when Touma tried to break the organization Necessarius's control over Index.)

"That doesn't explain what you want with me." said Mikoto. "What do you need another level 5 for?"

"Well here is where it gets interesting." said Black Whisper. "Around 2 months ago I was experimenting with what I believed would be a method to help me go back. I believed if I continued aiming for level 6 and made it, I would become powerful enough to open rifts between dimensions. However the experiments failed and instead of creating a portal out, I created a portal in, somehow dragging you into this world. I later realized that the Academy City superintendent Aleister Crowley himself, had been keeping an eye on me even as I was in this world. He had interfered for reasons I cannot fathom, and caused my failure. But there was still hope for me....."

Black Whisper raised his hands joyously. "Because after intense research and calculations, I figured out that all that I need to do to increase my Personal Reality to that of a level 6, is to kill another level 5 in combat!!"

"Y-you're crazy!!" said Mikoto. "You can't think that by killing me you'll instantly reach level 6!!"

"Well I can't just kill you...according to my calculations, we both have to be using our full strength...and I mean our FULL strength." Black Whisper's distorted visage seemed to erupt and swirl with glee. "Imagine my joy, when I discovered another esper who was just like me.....one who also possessed the blood of dragons."

"Gravix was right.....You're a Dragon Born too." said Mikoto

"Yes...My half father was dragon by the name of Morphus, Manipulator of Spatial Doorways." said Black Whispers. "Don't you find it odd that our esper abilities seem to mirror that of our Dragon abilities? Quite an interesting bit of trivia I say."

Suddenly a puddle of silver appeared next to Black Whisper, and Zvesda rose out of the mirror pool like a ghost. "Master.....Aqualas has detected the Fairy Tail Guild. They're charging us head on...."

"Have Aqualas deal with them." said Black Whisper. "And if any of them manage to make it through, I'll give you full permission to deal with them yourself. It will still take another 5 days before Night Reveler can fully ressurect Grimoire Heart, we cannot afford any delays by that insufferable Markorav."

"Yes Master..." said Zvesda as he sank back into the silver puddle.

"Now....." said Black Whisper looking back at Mikoto. "You are about to see what happens when the Fairies dare to fly near the many hungry mouths of a Hydra."

Aqualas waited outside on the rocky shore near the beach entrance. His face had returned back to it's quiet expressionless look thanks to the fact he was no longer within the marshes that drove him so insane. "Hmmmm....The Faries approach......"

On the rocky outcroppings opposite him, the surf crashing against their backs, the Fairy Tail Guild stood with determined looks on their faces.

"I'll take Aqualas." said Markorav. "Mira, If you're feeling up to it....."

Mira had already changed into her Satan Soul: Halphas. The bluish, and more powerful form of her orriginal Satan Soul. "Do you even need to ask?"

"Couldn't just use Fairy Law to take out all of them?" asked Gray.

"There is a mysterious magic that is currently interfering with any magic power that functions at a certain level." murmured Aqualas. "I invoked it myself.....While you won't be able to use magic like Fairy Law or Fairy Glitter.....I will not be able to use my Divine Demon Of The Water God either.....However..."

Aqualas suddenly rose 20 feet on a twister made of black water that was coming out of the ocean. "As long as I am near the ocean.....the level of magic you wield...means nothing."

"The rest of you go." said Mira. "Me and Master will take care of Aqualas."

As the rest of the guild ran to the cave entrance, Aqualas let out a geyser of black water. "You're not going anywhere...."

"Demon Blast!!!"

A black purplish energy blast ripped the geyser of water apart before it could reach the others.

"We are your opponents." said Markorav who began glowing with a golden light. "You will concentrate your energy on us!!"

"As you wish...." said Aqualas. "I shall ensure your death is swift....Demon Golem of The Water God!!!"

The Ocean erupted and out leapt two 20 ft tall large figures made completely of black water. The two water golems lumbered over to face Markorav and Mirajane.

Meanwhile, The rest of the team was running through the dark dank cave, which was lit with torches.

"How long before we get there?" Lucy asked Gravix.

Before Gravix could respond, a voice spoke from ahead of them. "A pointless question, especially considering that you won't make it."

Standing in the passage was Zvesda. And he looked furious.

"In the name of my master, none of you will leave this cave alive!!"

Hi It's me again! Just thought I would clear up some things about Aqualas.

First of all, it is actually a complete mystery how and where Aqualas learned God Slayer magic, but there are rumors that say it had something to do with where Aqualas was born, somewhere east of the Black Flood Marshes.

Secondly, The Black Flood Marshes was named after Aqualas long before Hydra Head was formed. Supposedly Aqualas lived there as a child, using his water magic to ensnare travellers. Eventually tales of a phantom who controlled floods of black water sprang up and the swamp was renamed The Black Flood Marshes. It's previous name had been the Gremlin Swamp.

Thirdly, though Aqualas seems like he is only crazy in the Black Flood Marshes, it's actually where he is most sane, according to him at least. When he is outside of the marshes his mind loses it so much, that it actually calms him down. His agressive blood thirsty attitude which is reawakened in his swampy home, is actually his true nature, which can actually be reawakened as long as he is in a swamp or marshland.

Fourthly, Aqualas's strength magic wise is just as Gravix describes it: comparable to that of a Wizard Saint. How strong he actually is compared to the 4 strongest Wizard Saints is debatable, but he is at least 40 percent stronger then Jura. His most powerful magic power, which was displayed in one of the previous chapters, is his Divine Demon Of The Water God, which turns Aqualas into a multiarmed sword weilding demon the size of a mountain out of water. The demon itself is strong enough to level an entire city with one massive swipe. It's sword blades are actually comprised of a special acid on the watery blade edge which can corrode even enchanted fortresses. Divine Demon Of The Water God's level is actually just slightly below that of Fairy Law and Grimoire Law.

Fifthly, Aqualas has met Aleister Crowley before. How and where I will not say, because it would become a spoiler for this series.

Dance Of The Two Dragons

"Now." said Black Whisper. "I think it's time we began."

Black Whisper snapped his fingers and the chains binding Mikoto disintegrated into smoke. The device around her neck also fell off.

"What are you doing?" said Mikoto apprehensively.

"Well didn't I explain before?" said Black Whisper. "The only way for me to reach level 6 is if you and I fight each other at full strength....In other words....I need you to fight back."

Black Whisper's distorted face suddenly gave a violent eruptive jerk. "Roar of The Spatial Dragon!!!"

A blast of purplish swirling energy blasted out from Black Whisper's face like a tornado of power. As the blast neared, Mikoto could feel the energy sucking in, as if it wanted to suck her body into oblivion. Mikoto dodged just barely as everything the blast touched was torn to pieces and dissapeared into nothingness.

"You don't have to do this!" shouted Mikoto. "Why couldn't you have made a new life in this world!?"

"Because....." said Black Whisper walking closer and glowing with power. "I don't just want to go back to our world.....no, that's just part of the bigger picture, I want to place both worlds under the control of Hydra Head. The two universes will bow to me and dance on the heads of the great snake."

Black Whisper moved in a blur of speed and raised his fist. "Spatial Dragon Distortion Fist!!!!"

Mikoto tried to dodge Black Whisper's blow, but she was still grazed in the side. Mikoto grunted in pain as the bandages on her sides were torn to shreds and some of her old wounds were reopened. Mikoto stumbled to the ground with blood dripping a little from her side. "S-so quick?!"

"That would be my Dragon Born ability." said Black Whisper. "It's the ability that seperates us from normal Dragon Slayers. My ability distorts the space around me and allows me to move faster then my opponent. Your ability manifests lightning into wing like forms, what those wings do.....well you best figure that out before I kill you...."

Black Whisper shimmered again and moved at eye popping speeds aiming another Distortion Fist at Mikoto's chest. Mikoto's bangs flashed and a tremendous bolt of lightning collided with Black Whisper who leapt back, his robes smoking.

Mikoto then yelled and blasted an immense widespread electrical storm at Black Whisper who shimmered and sped over to Mikoto, seeming to dodge every single lightning strike. "Multi Arm Bash Of The Spatial Dragon!!!"

Black Whisper's fists moved at impossible speeds as he punched MIkoto like a gattling gun. Mikoto flew into the wall of the cave where she created a huge crater in the wall. Mikoto coughed up some blood and fell to the ground.

"My, my" said Black Whisper. "Are you even trying to fight me?"

Mikoto glared at Black Whisper. "You can kill me....but leave the rest of Fairy Tail alone."

"I'm afraid that part isn't negotiable." Said Black Whisper. "That foolish guild is the one that challenged me. I am afraid that the only way to make sure those fools live, is that if you defeat me."

"In that case." Said Mikoto as yellow electricity began to combine with her bluish white electricity. "You won't mind if I take a couple of your limbs."

The massive electrical wings burst into being and spread out from Mikoto's back, taking up the entire cavern. Mikoto yelled and launched herself at Black Whisper, creating a crater as she kicked off from the ground. "Demolition Fist Of The Thunder Dragon!!!"

Mikoto's lightning engulfed fist shot out a powerful lightning energy blast. However Mikoto's blast was swallowed up by a portal which had suddenly opened up in front of Black Whisper. Black Whisper moved with even more speed then before and rammed into Mikoto from the side, breaking several of her ribs.

"HAHAHAHAHA!!!" Black Whisper laughed. "Now THAT's what I'm talking about. Show me your true strength!!!"

"Shut up!!" Mikoto growled.

"Jaws of The Thunder Dragon!!!" Mikoto joined her hands together and engulfed them in intensive lightning, she then brought down her fists in a devestating blow at Black Whisper's head. However, Black Whisper's distorted energy head phased through Mikoto's fists as if they were nothing.

"Wh-what!?" said Mikoto in surprise, as Black Whisper grabbed her face and blasted a purplish energy from his palm directly into her face.

Mikoto felt herself flying into over a billion different locations. Deserts, mountains, islands, and oceans flew in a blur past Mikoto's vision. Mikoto suddenly flashed back into the cave slammed against the wall of the cave, the electrical wings sliced against the earth as Mikoto fell to the ground groaning and clutching her head.

Mikoto got up panting hard. "I-I won't let you win.....I WON'T!"

Suddenly the wings morphed and shifted themselves and shot forward from Mikoto's back in the form of powerful electrical tendrils which wrapped around Black Whisper's torso and slammed him against the ground.

Black Whisper teleported away by swallowing himself up in another portal. A portal opened up above Mikoto's head and Black Whisper shot out of it with his fist raised. "Spatial Dragon Distortion Fist!!!"

Mikoto's wings reformed themselves and closed over Mikoto protecting her from Black Whisper's blow. The moment Black Whisper's fist connected with Mikoto's wings, he yelled in pain as the electricity coursed through his body blasting back in a huge electric explosion.

"I see....." said Black Whisper getting up. "Your Dragon Born ability uses those wings to attack as well as defend...And anything that hits you when your wings are in their defensive state recieves damage... A very resourceful ability indeed."

Mikoto's wings opened up again to reveal her standing there with a determined expression on her face. Patches on her shoulders and forearms now had a slightly scaly look, and her teeth seemed to have sharpened a little. Mikoto screamed out, and instead of a normal scream, a ginormous roar-like sound was heard. For an instant, it was as if the shadow of Thundaarix herself could be seen in the ginormous majestic electrical wings of Mikoto Misaka.

"So you have finally activated all your power." said Black Whisper. "Finally....my powers will come full circle!!"

Black Whisper's robes suddenly fell away to reveal that his entire body was like his face, nothing but a mass of distorted purple vortexes molded into the shape of a human. A giant purplish aura blasted outwards from his body. "Now....let us dance!"

Black Whisper and Mikoto leapt at each other where Mikoto's lightning engulfed fist and Black Whisper's distorted hand colided in mid air, creating a shock wave that reverabrated throughout the cave. Mikoto and Black Whisper then got to work attempting to the tear the other apart as they kicked and punched each other in a melee fight too quick to catch with the naked eye. Mikoto then knocked Black Whisper back by lashing out with one of her wings. Her wings morphed into giant tendrils again extended like spears at Black Whisper. Black Whisper sped off at super sonic speed and dodged the tendrils. He then moved in a blur to smash his fist against Mikoto's face. However Mikoto blocked his fist with her elbo and kicked him back with a lightning engulfed foot. MIkoto then engulfed her hands in great spheres of bright energy.

"Secret Art: Great Flashing Lotus Blade!!!" Mikoto's hands grabbed on to the edges of her wings which morphed into giant 15 foot long swords.

MIkoto leaped over to Black Whisper and swung her swords around at lightining quick speed. The electricity blasted against Black Whisper and he fell to the ground smoking as his vortex-like body rippled.

"It's over Black Whisper." Said Mikoto as her swords turned back into wings. "Give it up."

"Give it up....? growled Black Whisper. "GIVE IT UP!!? GIVE IT UP!? YOU FOOL!!!! JUST WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!!!!???"

Black Whisper's body suddenly shifted and began to swirl outwards. Mikoto stepped backwards as Black Whisper grew larger and larger. His body swirled and changed shape until his hands turned into the shapes of talons. A massive swirling tail grew out and wings began to form. Finally, after Black' Whisper had grown to the size of a house, the portal energy peeled back from his body like some kind of strange second skin and blasted off his body to reveal ginormous dragon with gleaming purple scales and eyes glowing the color of molten lava. The dragon roared, causing the very ground to shake.

The dragon grabbed Mikoto with his clawed talons and pinned her to the ground. "NOW YOU WILL PERISH!! RAILGUN!!!!!!"

Suddenly the wall nearby exploded and several voices cried out.

"ROAR OF THE FIRE DRAGON!!"

"ROAR OF THE IRON DRAGON!!

"ROAR OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!"

"ROAR OF THE SKY DRAGON!!"

A massive combined blast of wind, fire, lightning, and metalic shredding particles rammed into Black Whisper's dragon hide and he flew back roaring in pain.

Standing in front of the opening in the wall of the cave, was Natsu, Wendy, Gajeel, and Laxus.

Behind them, Erza and Gravix had their feet on top of an unconscious Zvesda, both of them looking battered from having fought a hard battle.

"Sorry for breaking in like this....." Said a grinning Gajeel. "But there's only room in the sky for 5 dragons"

"Yeah," said Natsu holding up a flaming fist. "Which means someone's going to have knock you out of the air!!"

"And." said Laxus. "We're going to be doing the knocking...understand?"

Pretty epic fight scene right? Now you're probably wondering how the heck Black Whisper just turned to into a full fledged dragon just now. That's actually an ability called Dragon Skin that all Dragon Borns possess. It's rare that Dragon Borns ever master this ability, but every one of them posses the latent potential thanks to their dragon's blood. Even Mikoto could change into a dragon if she figured out how and trained super intensely. The reason Gravix and other Dragon Slayer experts don't know about this ability is because of the fact that Dragon Borns rarely ever mastered this ability. Of the three Dragon Borns blessed by Achnologia, only the daughter mastered Dragon Skin and that was only minutes before her gruesome demise. Black Whisper is the fourth Dragon Born in the history of Fiore to master Dragon Skin, and the fifth Dragon Born from Mikoto's world to master Dragon Skin. As for Black Whisper's body being completely comprised of portals, that was a result of him being altered by the spatial distortion accident that took him to Earthland in the first place.

Mikoto could hardly believe her eyes. "Y-you all came for me...."

Natsu grinned."What did ya expect? You're a member of Fairy Tail!! Mess with one of us and you mess with all of us!!"

"Where are the others!?"

"Oh! Gramps and Mira are fighting that weird Aqualas guy. Lucy and Juvia are helping Gray fight off some weird...um...what did you call it?"

"They're called Sabre Toothed Blood Leeches." Said Gravix. "These caves are full of them."

"Oh yeah that!!"

Happy and Charle circled above.

"Watch out" Shouted Happy. "Looks like that monster isn't done yet!!"

Black Whisper lumbered forward on his scaly legs roaring furiously. "NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!! THIS IS ALL WRONG!!! I HAVE TO FIGHT THE GIRL ONE ON ONE!!!! THIS WILL RUIN ALL MY CALCULATIONS!!!!!!!"

"Surrender Black Whisper!!" Shouted Erza raising her sword. "It ends here!!"

Black Whisper's monstrous eyes burned with rage. "OH IT IS OVER ALL RIGHT!!! BY INTERFERING HERE, YOU HAVE RUINED ALL MY CALCULATIONS, ALL MY CONSTANT PLANNING, BECAUSE OF YOU I MIGHT NEVER REACH LEVEL 6!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR THIS, I WILL DESTROY ALL OF YOU!!!

Black Whisper opened his maw and blasted a powerful blast of vortex energy into the roof of the cave. There was giant blast of light and energy and the entire cavern was torn apart till nothing was left of the cave but the surrounding rubble. The once blue sky glowed blood red as if it could sense the evil energy eminating from Black Whisper's scales. Black Whisper spread his dark giant wings wide.

"Now Fairy Tail!!" Shouted Black Whisper. "YOU SHALL FEEL TRUE PAIN!!!"

Black Whisper flew into the air and blasted his swirling vortex of spatial energy from his mouth. Mikoto leapt in front of her friends and folded her electric wings over to block the the blast. The energy rammed against the defensive move and Mikoto gritted her teeth as she pushed with all her might against the powerful blow.

Laxus raised his clenched fists into the air and began to chant. "Resounding through the air, the roar of thunder, plundge from the heavens and reap destruction!! Raging Bolt!!!"

A tremendous bolt of yellow lightning blasted into Black Whisper and the great dragon crashed into ground creating a massive crater.

Natsu launched himself into the air using the fire on his fit like booster rockets. "Iron Fist of The Fire Dragon!!" Natsu dived down at Black Whisper, plundging his firey fist into the dragon's skull.

Black Whisper roared in pain and threw Natsu off with a swing of his head. Black Whisper swiped his claws at Natsu, knocking him into the rubble.

"Natsu!!" Shouted both Wendy and Mikoto. Both of them puffed up their cheeks.

"ROAR OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!!"

"ROAR OF THE SKY DRAGON!!!"

Mikoto exhaled a ginormous blast of electricity while Wendy exhaled a huge twister of wind. The two moves combined into a huge tornado of wind and electricity.

"This is...A unison raid!!" shouted Black Whisper right before the combined Roar attack hit him.1

Black Whisper was thrown into the air. Next to him Gajeel had been boosted into the sky by Gravix's gravity magic.

"Rod of the Iron Dragon!!" Gajeel rammed his giant metal gurdurr like arm into Black Whisper, smashing him into the ground again.

"Natsu!!" Erza shouted changing into her Flame Empress armor. "Here!!" Erza slashed outwards with her sword and a blast of flame erupted from her blade.

Natsu burst out of the rubble and opened his mouth, swallowing the fire. "Oh YEAAAHH!!! I'M ALL FIRED UP NOW!!!!"

Natsu leapt at Black Whisper, his fists ignited in flame. "Crimson Lotus: Fist of The Fire Dragon!!"

Natsu rapidly punched Black Whisper, creating a fiery explosion after every quick blow. As Natsu continued to punch his target with the speed of a gattling gun, the ground around Black Whisper began to glow molten orange with heat.

Laxus and Mikoto together raised their fists and took aim. "Demolition Fist of The Thunder Dragon!!!"

Natsu leapt back as two massive fists made out of electrical energy, one yellow and one white, rammed into Black Whisper, plowing him into the ground.

"ENOUGH!!!" Black Whisper roared.

A shockwave blasted out from Black Whisper and knocked everyone off their feet. Black Whisper stomped his scally feet against the ground, causing the ground to quake. "I WON'T BE DEFEATED BY PUNY PATHETIC MAGES SUCH AS YOURSELF!!!!"

"Man, he's got tough skin that one." Gajeel growled.

"We need some kind of finishing move!" shouted Erza. "Or we'll never get him."

"I think...." said MIkoto. "I think I know something that could do it. But I'm running low on energy, and I'll need someone to hold him still."

"Someone to hold him still? Well I'm pretty sure I can do that." Gray appeared on a rocky outcropping, behind him were Lucy and Juvia.

"Welcome to the party." said Laxus with a grin. "So Mikoto, how much energy do ya need!?"

"Alot."

"Well then..." said Laxus throwing a humungous sphere of electricity at Mikoto. "Eat Up!!!!"

Mikoto opened her mouth and swallowed the electricity. She licked her lips. "Now that one tasted like.....pancakes."

"Now lets do this! said Gray running at Black Whisper.

"Juvia will show Gray the depth of her love!!" Shouted Juvia turning her body into a great wave of water and ramming into Black Whisper.

"Ice Make: Cage!!" Gray sent a ginormous cage made of ice on top of Black Whisper. "You're up Lucy!!!"

Lucy raised a golden key and dipped it in a puddle of sea water nearby. "Open! Gate of the Water Bearer! Aquarius!!!"

A mermaid with blue hair holding a vase appeared.

"Aquarius!! We need a lot of water on that dragon stat!!!"

"DON'T FREAKING ORDER ME ARROUND!!!" shouted Aquarius as she raised her vase and a vast amount water blasted from her vase and covered the cage in a never ending waterfall.

Juvia demerged from the water and leapt out of the cage. "Now darling Gray!!"

"Time for a cold wake-up call." said Gray as he put his hand against the wall of water. Suddenly the entire water froze into a ginormous spire of ice. "Hey Mikoto, will this work!?"

Mikoto nodded. "Now that'll work just fine! Now I need just one more thing!"

Happy flew over and dropped a small coin into Mikoto's palm. "Will this work?"

Mikoto grinned. "Happy, if we somehow make it out of this, I am going to get you enough fish to last a week."

"Aye ma'am." said Happy cheerfully

Mikoto rested the coin on her thumb and aimed it at Black Whisper, whose head wad breaking out the ice, roaring with absolute rage. Mikoto closed her eyes and concentrated both her esper and Dragon Slayer energy into the coin on her thumb.

Please....Thought Mikoto. Thundaarix.....Mother.....Grant me the strength I need.

"The strength you wish for." Said the voice of Thundaarix. "Already dwells within you my daughter."

Mikoto feeling power course through her, flicked the coin like she had so many times before. "Secret Art: RAILGUN METEOR OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!!!"

In a burst of white sparks, the coin flew forward in an orange streak, leaving a sonic boom. Halfway to it's target, the electricity surrounding the coin grew extremely large until it morphed into the shape of a soaring dragon. The giant sparking electric dragon flew at hundreds of times the speed of sound into the partially frozen Black Whisper. The moment the move connected, a powerful explosion of electricity blasted into the sky. All the clouds in the sky blasted apart as the lightning split the very heavens.

When the dust settled. The burned and smoking dragon just stood there for a moment, the melted ice around him steamed. Then Black Whisper fell to the ground, the earth shaking as he fell.

"H-how....?" muttered the shocked dragon. "H-how did you....?"

"I'll tell you how." Markorav had just appeared. Behind him, Mira who was still in her Satan Soul: Halphas form dragged an unconscious Aqualas.

"The reason she beat you." said Markorav. "Is because you didn't have what she had....something to fight for, something to care about and protect. All you had were your nearsighted ambitions of control. That is why no one has ever beaten Fairy Tail. The things we fight for....our friends.....our family...our guild...They are more precious to us then anything."

"Pathetic..."Murmured Black Whisper. "Naive fools.....friends are just a hopeless ideal....in the end they bring you nothing but bought loyalty....loyalty that could eventually be betrayed."

"You're wrong." said Mikoto. Her electric wings had dissapeared and her scalish skin had disappeared. "Without friends....humans are nothing but empty lonesome creatures.....before I joined Fairy Tail, those two months I wandered Fiore alone.....I felt empty. None of the friends I had from my own world were with me...I was alone. But then I joined Fairy Tail...."

Mikoto smiled. "Admittidly I was a little annoyed at first. Like how Natsu and Gray were always fighting like little kids. And Happy always managed to get on my nerves somehow. Plus everyone seemed to think I was some beserk bug zapper. But eventually, I realized how fun being with a guild like Fairy Tail actually was. And no matter what.....everyone treated each other like family...Because in reality, we were a family. And that's what everyone here is to me. Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Happy, Charle, Wendy, Juvia, Mira, Laxus, Master....even Gravix over there.....They're all my family."

"No..." said Black Whisper. "This does not compute...it does not make sense....all science...even magic.....it all makes sense...but this....."

The dragon raised it's injured and battered head roaring. "I REFUSE TO ACKNOLEDGE THAT WHICH HAS NO SENSE!!!!!!!!!"

A blazing bright light began to shine out of Black Whisper's scaly torso. It got larger and larger and larger till it completely engulfed all of Fairy Tail, leaving them standing in a bright white out of light.

"What's happening?!" shouted Lucy.

"I've heard of this!" said Mikoto. "It's called psychic overload! If a level 5 uses enough of his or her personal reality to it's maximum, they can willingly overload their abilities and hit everything within a 5 mile radius with it.....And if Black Whisper has the Teleportal ability....There is no telling where we will end up....or if we'll even be in one piece.

"D-Does that mean that we might-?" Said Charle.

Wendy held out her hand and held Charle's paw. "Yes.....it looks like this might be it..."

Gray reached out and held Wendy's hand as well, Juvia reached out to hold Gray's hand. Gajeel and Laxus joined in along with everyone else until the only one left not holding hands was Mikoto.

Natsu held his had out to Mikoto.

"So this is the end..."murmured Mikoto with tears in her eyes.

"Don't worry." said Natsu grinning. "We're all here....together."

Mikoto reached out to Natsu's hand and took it.

And there stood Fairy Tail, holding hands, as the light from the Teleportal ability shown with a bright light. The light that would probably affect their destinies forever....

Academy City

Mikoto opened her eyes. Was she dead? Was she dreaming? she could not tell.....but something did feel...familiar. Almost as if she had breathed this air a long time ago. As if where she was now was both an old friend and a long time enemy. Was this what death was like? Mikoto groaned and got up from her facedown position on the rocky ground. She looked around. It seemed that they were in some sort of construction site, metal gurdurs were everywhere as if the construction had only just started. Bulldozers were sitting silently on the side of the lot.

Wait a second...if Mikoto knew anything about Fiore architecture, it was that no one in that world used bulldozers or cranes. Which meant...this wasn't Fiore. Cars ran past the vacant lot. The skyscrapers of that city had a futuristic look to them, and strange cylinder like robots were running around the streets, cleaning up any litter. And most of the people, they were all highschoolers, middle schoolers, college students, and elementary age children. This place...Mikoto knew this place.

"I-I'm home!" Mikoto said. "I-I can't believe it. I'm actually home!!"

Suddenly Mikoto heard a groaning sound and she whirled around quickly. Lying all around her unconscious, were all her friends. Black Whisper, Zvesda, and Aqualas were nowhere in sight. And Master Markorav was sitting in the middle of the scene with his legs crossed and his eyes closed as if in some sort of deep meditation.

"Oh," said Markorav opening his eyes. "It seems like you're awake. Good, it doesn't seem like anyone was hurt."

"M-master!" said Mikoto. "What just happened!?"

Markorav sighed. "Aleister happened.....he's been pulling the strings behind this incident the whole time. He used Black Whisper's Teleportal ability to his advantage and used his psychic overload to bring us here. I don't know what his goal was....but, we had best be careful...My it's been a long time since I have breathed the air of this world...."

Suddenly the others stirred and began to get up.

"Owwwww..." said Happy. "It hurrrrtsss.....must....have fish."

Natsu stretched his arms and yawned. " Whoaaah!! Where are we!?"

"Wherever we are.." Said Gajeel who had picked up one of the iron gurdurrs and was chomping on it like a sandwich. "The iron here tastes pretty good."

"Does that mean the fish here will taste good too?" Asked Happy, his eyes sparkling.

"Honestly." said Charle sighing. "Is fish all you think about?"

"I can't see why I would need to think about anything else!" Said Happy cheerfully.

"It's so big." said Lucy staring at the skyscrapers. "I didn't know there were cities with buildings that high. What do you think Mikoto?....Mikoto?"

Mikoto wasn't paying attention, she was digging through a trash can nearby looking for a newspaper. Finally she found what she was looking for and looked at the date on the paper. It said April 20th, a little more then 2 months since she was last in Academy City. Mikoto could just imagine how worried all her friends must be.....

"Hey!" Lucy said waving her hand in front of Mikoto. "Are you all right?"

"Lucy....I'm back...after 2 months I'm really back."

Lucy just looked at Mikoto not understanding for a moment. Suddenly her eyes widened. "Wait! This is Academy City!!!??"

"So this is the place with all the espers and stuff!?" Said Natsu looking around left and right with enthusiasm. "COOL!!!"

Natsu ran over to a student who was just passing by the construction site. A girl who looked around 16.

"Hey!!" shouted Natsu. "Are you an esper!?"

The girl looked taken aback by this sudden greeting from a random stranger. "Uhhhhh....yeah. But I'm only a level 2....."

"AWESOME!!!!!" shouted Natsu. "so what's your ability!?"

"Erm.....I can levitate stuff....."

"NO WAY!! You just hold on for a second!!" Natsu ran back into the construction yard and picked up Happy and ran back to the girl. "Can ya levitate Happy for me!!?"

"Natsu!" said Happy. "I think you're scaring her."

Suddenly the girl screamed and pointed at Happy. "Th-that cat!! It just talked!!!"

Natsu and Happy just looked at the girl with very confused expressions.

"Well of course I can talk." said Happy. "I'm not stupid or anything!"

The girl screamed again and hit Natsu across the face with her bag, she then ran off causing passerby to stare curiously.

"Wh-what the heck was that about?" said Natsu looking very confused now.

Mikoto ran over and dragged Natsu away by the arm. "You freaking idiot!! There are no talking cats in this world!!"

"Huh!!? said Happy. "So me and Charle are the only Exceeds here!?"

"SHHHHH!!" Mikoto shushed. "This is a city of science. If people find out that there is an actual flying talking cat here, they'd probably dissect you."

"D-dissect me!?"

"Man." Said Natsu. "This place sounds even crazier then when you first described it!"

"Trust me Natsu." said Mikoto. "This city has it's good and bad sides, and I've seen the bad all too well."

The rest of the group walked up to join them.

"So." said Gray. "What do we do now?"

Mikoto blinked with surprise. "What? You're asking me?"

"Well yeah." said Lucy. "This is your home after all, you know more about it then any of us."

"Yeah...." Mikoto muttered to herself. "Almost any of you....." Mikoto looked at Markorav who just continued to whistle a cheerful tune he had been whistling since everybody woke up. Laxus just looked at Mikoto and shrugged.

Mikoto sighed. "Well....I guess the first thing to do would be to find you guys a place to stay for the night. That's going to be difficult since all the students have dorms and you wouldn't be able to stay in mine.... And I guess the other thing I should do is....ummm....well...."

"You want to visit your friends here right?" said Mira with a knowing smile. "Let them know you're okay..."

Mikoto stared at Mira. "Y-yeah I guess I do.."

"Well, you have been away from them for around 2 months." said Erza. "I see no sense in letting that be your second priority. Go and meet your friends."

"But...." said Mikoto. "You guys are my friends too.....it wouldn't be right for me to just leave you here."

"Do you know a place where people gather and frequently?" said Gravix. "If we were to find some place like a park, it would be a perfect area to wait."

"Well there is a park south of here nearby." said Mikoto. "But still it wouldn't be right to..."

"Go right on ahead." said Markorav cheerfully. "We'll meet you at the park."

"Well...." said Mikoto uneasily. "Okay."

"Hey Sparky!" said Natsu happily. "Mind if me, Happy and Lucy come with you?"

"No." said Mikoto smiling back. "I don't mind at all."

The entire group separated and Mikoto walked down the street of Academy City with Natsu and Lucy following close behind and Happy curled up on her head. ("Your hair is just so soft and comfortable Mikoto!"). On the way, Mikoto bought a black shirt with a green Gekota design on the front from a clothing store. No sense walking down Academy City with just a bunch of ragged torn bandages.

Who should she visit first? Kuroko? She would be back at the Tokwadai dorms of course, wondering where her precious Sissy had gone. Saten and Uihara? They would be worried sick too. Should she call her mother? (not Thundaarix, her human mother.) But one name in her head stood out against all the others, the one person she wanted to see more then anyone now....

Mikoto remembered Erza's words from when they fought in the ancient forest next to the spring of her dragon parent. "There is someone you care about in that world...isn't there?"

Mikoto made up her mind. She led Natsu and Lucy through the city and to the residential area. This area of Academy City was mainly for the dorms of highschoolers. Mikoto came to one of the apartment-like dorm buildings and climbed the steps. She walked around till she came to a stop next to one of the dorm rooms. On a sign next to the door was the name "Kamijou". She made to knock on the door.....but she hesitated. What would she say?

"Well come on Mikoto." said Happy nuzzling comfortably on top of Mikoto's head. "You shouldn't keep whoever he or she is waiting."

Mikoto looked back at Natsu and Lucy. The two of them nodded encouragingly.

Mikoto took a deep breath and knocked. Immediately voices could be heard coming from behind the door.

"Toooooouuuuuummaaaaa!!!!!! There's someone at the door!!!!"

"Yeah, yeah. I'm coming-. Hold on a second.....Index, did you eat all the ramen!!?"

"Mmmhmm. It was really good!"

"INDEX!! That was our dinner for the next three weeks!!!"

"Touma, are you going to answer the door or not!?"

"Fine....but this conversation isn't over."

The door opened and a boy with black spiky hair opened the door. "Sorry for making you wait-" Touma stopped talking and stared.

"M-Misaka?!!"

Mikoto couldn't help it anymore, As Happy flew off on to Natsu's shoulder, she dove into the arms of Touma Kamijou, her eyes overcome with tears.

"Wh-whoa Misaka?!" said Touma. "Calm down! What's wrong? Where've you been?"

"I'm home.." Mikoto sobbed hugging Touma tighter. "I'm home...."1

Touma stared for a bit, then smiled slightly. He put a hand on Mikoto's head. "Yeah...."

Touma looked at Natsu, Happy and Lucy. "And who might you guys be?"

The threesome just smiled.

"Nobody really." said Natsu. "Just some really close friends."

End.

Epilogue

Back in the dark windowless building of Academy City, Aleister Crowley floated within his tank, thinking about how far his plan had progressed in such little time. Now that Fairy Tail had come to Academy City, he could begin the more messy steps of his plans. It was time that he involved the other chess pieces in this game. Touma Kamijou and Natsu Dragneel would be the pawns of course. While Mikoto Misaka would be the queen. Gildarts and Accelerator would come later in the game of course, but that step was fast approaching.

Suddenly, a teleportation esper immediately materialized in the room (not Teleportal ability, just your basic disapparition and apparition). With her, was a tall man with long red hair. He wore black priest's robes and had a bar code tattoo under one of his eyes. The man also had a cigar in his mouth and multiple rings in his ears.1

"So....." said Stiyl Magnus breathing out some smoke. "I see you're still floating around in that pleasant little fish tank of yours."

"I take it Laura Stuart has told you the basics of the situation?" asked Aleister.

"Most of it." said Stiyl. "Not that I would know anyways. You two are both fantastic liars."

"That much is true." said Aleister.

"So tell me," said Stiyl. "Who are the parties of interest in this little venture?"

"A new magic organization that has recently emerged in Academy City." said Aleister. "They call themselves Fairy Tail."

"Fairy Tail?" Stiyl said snorting with hilarity. "Sounds like the name for some kind of manga wizard guild."11

"Don't underestimate them." said Aleister. "They also have a powerful esper working with them, I believe you've heard of her. The Railgun, Misaka.."

"That friend of Kamijou's huh?" said Stiyl. "Can't say I've ever talked to her before, but I hear she can be pretty brash and hot tempered. So what about that other group I'm supposed to watch?"

"I have my own men looking into Gildarts and Accelerator." said Aleister. "Just concentrate on keeping your eye on Fairy Tail."

"Whatever." said Stiyl sighing. "I just do what the pope tells me. One thing though....the pope is a little concerned about one person in particular. I believe she said that person's name was Erza Scarlet.. She would like to send Kanzaki to deal with her."1

"You may do what you wish." said Aleister. "Erza, I feel, might actually be a nuisance to me as well."

"So what's Touma's role in all this going to be?" asked Stiyl. "I can't imagine you're going to leave Imagine Breaker out of your little game of magic vs science."

"Do not worry." said Aleister as a slow smile creapt up his face. "I have a special role reserved for Mr. Kamijou."

Several miles away from the Windowless Building, a strange man could be seen standing on top of one of tallest buildings. He was a tall elderly man with long silver hair and a long beard. Over his right eye was an eyepatch and he wore a long dark cape and guantletts. This man, who was previously dead, was known as Master Hades, guildmaster of the dark guild Grimoire Heart.1

"My, my Markorav old friend." said Hades. "You really have dragged yourself into it this time haven't you?"

Suddenly another man approached from behind Hades, the moonlight glinting off his wild yellow hair and kill happy eyes. This was Zancrow, Grimoire Heart's resident Fire God Slayer

"Man!!" said Zancrow. "It's good to be alive again!! I can't wait to blow something up!! I have got to remember to thank that Night Reveler guy! So Master Hades, how did you come to know this Black Whisper guy anyways?"

"He's an old friend." said Hades. "I met him on my search for the keys to waking Zeref. Imagine my surprise when I learned that he came from this world. It was I who helped him form Hydra Head in the first place."

"That stupid vector deflection ability I keep hearing about sounds like some sort of over publicized rumor in this world right?"

"Don't you worry." said Hades. "I have a different target for you. A new member of Markorav's brood, the third strongest esper Railgun."

"Sounds dangerous." said Zancrow licking his lips. "I like it. So what about, Kain and Rustyrose. We all know Azuma's role, but what are they supposed to do?" (though not mentioned, Bluenote stinger is also here as well.)

"They are gaurding Black Whisper for now." said Hades. "I don't know what that fool was thinking using something as dangerous as a psychic overload. But we can't have him dying yet. For now I'll ask Aqualas to continue the reconnaisance of this world. It's been so long since I last came here. The world will have changed much, I must know all I can if I am to posses the 103,000 grimoires."

"And pray tell, what the heck are we going to do after we have that stupid Index Librorum Prohibitorum?" Zancrow asked. "Isn't reading even one of those forbidden texts supposed to be enough to make a guy lose his head?"

"Don't you worry Zancrow." said Hades. "I learned from my failure on Tenrou Island. This time it will be Fairy Tail that get's swallowed by the demon. Against the combined forces of both Hydra Head and Grimoire Heart, there will be no equal. Aleister may think that he is in control, but he is foolishly mistaken. And as for Dravis Lord of Destruction, it will not be he who takes control of the multiverse, it will be I who finally transcends all beings."3
