Chapter 8 - DRAGONS

EPILOGUE

Accelerator sat on top of one of the houses in Magnolia Town. He liked it better here then Academy City. Sure it was smaller. But it was also brighter here, and crime and death was at a minimal, nobody trying to kill you, or conduct some type of twisted experiment. Here, Accelerator felt he could finally feel a little more peaceful.

"Heh.." said Accelerator. "Guess I should probably thank Grimoire Heart just for this....."

"Don't be so quick to relax." said Gildarts who stood behind Accelerator looking at the Fairy Tail guild hall that stood in the distance. "There's two sides to every story. You of all people should know that."

"I have to admit Old Geezer." spat Accelerator. "It's been quite fun."

"The smashing part, or the being smashed part?"

"A little bit of both."

Gildarts grinned. "I appreciate the enthusiasm. I thought you were always more of the antisocial type."

"I am." said Accelerator. "However, I'm not the same person I used to be a year ago....."

Gildarts nodded. "Change is a mysterious thing. How we are able become more mature, whether with age or experience....One thing is for sure, things are definitely going to be changing rapidly with our worlds now connected."

"I like this world." said Accelerator. "war is scarce, the sun shines without pathetic pollution....But knowing Accademy City, they're probably going to find a way to ruin it all..."

"Thinking of moving in?"

"Why not? I don't even take the curriculum in Academy City anymore....and both Last Order and MISAKA Worst are getting restless closed in all the time (MISAKA Worst is one of the last Sisters to be cloned next to Last Order, she actually siphons off all the negative feelings of the other 10,000 clones through the MISAKA network which as a result, makes her one of the most devious and prank loving clones).

"Hmmm....." said Gildarts. "Well in that case, I'm sure I have some room in my home for you....though my house is a little small, I'm sure I can fit in a couple of beds..."

Accelerator raised an eyebrow. "You sure you wanna do that Old Geezer? With that portal open, there's nothing stopping the darkness of the city from following me here."

"Since when have I let anything like that scare me?" said Gildarts. "Plus I gauruntee that Fairy Tail isn't the kind of place that would let such a darkness take hold of them..."

"Old Geezer...." said Accelerator with an incredulous look on his face. "This isn't some weird invitation to join your little wizard's club is it?"

Gildarts chuckled. "Well.....that depends...do you accept?"

Back in Accademy City's Windowless Building, Aleister Crowley was floating upside-down in his tank contemplating what had happened in the past weeks. It had been just as he predicted, unusually messy. But despite the messiness, it had also been unusually perfect. The Railgun had managed to develop her powers to a great extent, even managing to use Oberon, a power which was said only to be used by those who came from the line of Mavis.....something that Misaka obviously was not.

"Hmmmm...." said Aleister. "She is progressing beautifully."

Suddenly, a teleportation esper materialized into the room, bringing with her a blonde haired teenage boy wearing a flowery shirt and sunglasses. Motoharu Tsuchimikado walked forward towards Aleister as the esper teleported away.

Tsuchimikado used to be one of the greatest Fen Shui magic users in Necessarius, but ever since he became a double agent for both the science and magic sides, his taking of the esper curriculum had lost him the ability to use magic without great injury to himself. However, he still had other things he could count on...such as his mind for instance.

"What do ya want Aleister?" said Tsuchimikado lazily. "I've got a date going in that Magnolia Town place and I don't want to miss it."

"This won't be too difficult." said Aleister Crowley smiling slightly. "I'm sure you've heard of Fairy Tail?"

"Who hasn't?" said Tsuchimikado. "In the past day that place has become even more famous then the Eifel Tower. What's your game with them?"

"Nothing much.."

"That's a lie and we both know it."

Aleister smiled a little wider this time. "Very well.....I wish for you to keep an eye on one member in particular..."

"Let me guess." said Tsuchimikado. "You want me to watch Kamy's friend....the Railgun." (Kamy or Kamy-yan is Tsuchimikado's nickname for Touma.)

"You catch on quite quick."

"Feeling threatened aren't we?" said Tsuchimikado. "Remember what I said before about how if you kept using Kamy like a puppet he would eventually turn on you? Well the same applies for Mikoto Misaka...and she's even more dangerous now."

"If it wasn't dangerous." said Aleister sinisterly. "It wouldn't be nearly as fun...."

High above in the Hymilayan mountains, in a secret grove of mountains, was an area where strange creatures lived, creatures that had only been known in the vaguest of myths. As it so happened, one of those myths were none other then dragons.

Thundaarix perched majestically on the snow topped mountain peake, her beautifull golden head staring out into the horizon. She thought about her human daughter who even now was slowly progressing towards the destiny she had been born with. It would be a while yet before the prophecy came into fruition, but that did not diminish the ominous shadow that continued to creep forward in both worlds...

A large red dragon suddenly landed on a mountain peake behind Thundaarix. mist rising up from his flaming breath.

"Igneel...." said Thundaarix. "It has been a while."

"I've been busy." said Igneel snorting out a spout of flame in annoyance at the cold. "Plus there was the issue that our worlds used to be seperate. Grandeena says it's nearly time...."

"Yes..." said Thundaarix. "Dravis is growing stronger....earlier, he actually managed to come into this world despite the issue he had not returned to his full strength..."

"That evil creature needs to be put down." growled Igneel angrilly.

"Reckless attitude as always....." said Thundaarix. "It is no wonder Natsu Dragneel has such a hot head."

"And we both know that beneath that calm exterior is the loud feisty Dragon we all know and love." said Igneel. "And I must say, Mikoto Misaka has inherited that particular trait nicely."

Thundaarix looked back at the thin sky and the vast world. "Indeed.....it is one trait I am glad she has inherited...so are we ready to go?"

"Yes."

"Then let us fly."

Immediately, a multitude of different colored dragons of differing sizes and shapes rose out of the mountains and began flying west.....their goal unknown to all but Igneel, Thundaarix, and Grandeena...

Hey guys! That's the end of the second book, now before I go and start writing Railgun the fairytail thunder God, Book 3: Bridge Between Worlds I would like to give out a few tidbits of information as well as maybe a slight spoiler.

Firstly, the tidbit of info I would like to give is about how Igneel managed to enter Mikoto's world without anyone in Academy City noticing. Well all I can say is that Igneel has a lot of friends in high places where Academy City is concerned. Even Grandeena has plenty of contacts. Secondly, For those of you who are wondering on what happened to the Tree Diagram central system, yes it got completely destroyed after Touma's dorm was demolished. However this won't be a permanent set back to reviving the super computer in this series.

Now for the tiny spoiler. I have decided to give Mikoto her own exceed friend since every dragon slayer has one. Her name is Elli and if you want to find out more about her you'll have to wait until the next book .
