Chereads / The Arrange Marriage With My Best Frenemy / Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Crazy Girl

Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Crazy Girl

What the hell is she doing here? Axel wanted to hide in a hole because of the embarrassment.

He cursed inwardly at Louise, praying she stepped on poo or something. Axel would have cursed her aloud if a teacher wasn't here and he had to maintain his image.

The teacher was lecturing him about destroying the door, a school property.

"Teacher—" Old Man Harrison glared at Axel.

Did this brat think he can get away with anything because he's a bit handsome and has an excellent reputation? I don't believe it! Harrison's enormous stomach moved up and down as saliva spluttered from his mouth, talking like a machine gun.

This teacher had always been envious of handsome students because he was still unmarried and already had a balding head.

Axel clenched his first, vowing that he would avenge the humiliation. He placed Louise in his imaginary black checklist.

"Teacher, I don't mean to be rude, but can you let me go now? Don't you think there's no point lecturing me about this?" Axel interrupted in a barely controlled voice. "The school receives so much money from my family that it's enough to make a few more buildings. Surely, you won't fuss because of a door?"

After saying his speech, Axel stepped away from his teacher, staring into the latter's face. It went from white to red in an instant.

The former's lips curved in an annoyed arc. He thought, "I only said the truth! Is it that hard to swallow?"

Axel's father donated a lot of money—millions per year.

This school—Alpha International—was one of the most prestigious schools in Country A, and only the best could enter.

How did that crazy girl enter? His brows furrowed as he pondered over this question. Did her family use their connections?

Louis Archer's family was comparable to Axel's, but the latter was still a notch higher because of their deep ancestry that went way back to royalty blood. Also, they had a firm hold in politics.

Axel was the grandson of Sen. Wilmore Rossi. His father was in politics, and his grandfather was in the military—William Rossi—a retired general, but still kept his power. Also, his mother was the heiress of Skylane Group of Companies, one of the biggest companies in the world, with businesses ranging from aviation, hotels, restaurants, malls, and hospitals.

His mother, Layla Shin, a Rossi now, was a doting mother. Axel was born with a golden spoon in his mouth, and nothing could change that. The Rossi family donated to the school, and the teacher's admonition was clearly over the top.

It was evident that the teacher didn't like Axel.

"You… you…" the teacher stuttered. Axel politely bowed and left without turning back. His priority right now was to avenge himself.

And the perfect idea just popped into his head. He grinned, whistling to himself.

Ugly...

Barbaric...

Amazonian...

Boorish...

Loudmouth...

Axel wanted to say these things to Louise and more. There were some things that words couldn't describe. He watched her enter the cafeteria, and the other students avoided her like a plague. They stayed meters away from her and even avoided eye contact.

The outcome satisfied Axel. There was no way she could go against him if she wanted a normal school life. Her life here would be a living hell.

She placed her things on a corner table, sitting alone. Then she left to grab food. Her classmates had alienated her already.

Alex smiled and walked toward her table. One of his friends, Leo, grabbed him and frowned.

"What are you going to do, dude?"

Alex brushed off Leo's hand and said, "I'm going to return what she did to me earlier."

Moving swiftly, he arrived in front of her table. Then, he placed something in her chair secretly. She wasn't even looking, and none the wiser of the destruction of her social life.

Alex came back to his table as if nothing happened. Louise wouldn't bother to check her chair and would just sit immediately.

"Was that...?" Leo questioned as soon as I sat back down.

"Just watch." Alex smiled at his group of friends and gazed at Louise sitting down.

Haha… she'll find out the harshness of high school. Alex chuckled. He snickered; his heartbeat raced. He counted in a whisper, "1… 2… 3…"

"Prrrrttttt..." A loud, farting sound echoed all around the cafeteria from Louise's direction. She jumped away from her chair, but it was too late.

"Oh, my God. Is that...what it is? That brown thing? She pooped?!" One of the cheerleaders' shrill voices announced.

Alex tried to stifle his laughter, but he couldn't stop. The others were laughing, too. He placed a fake poop and a farting toy on her chair. Even though she really didn't poop or fart, no one would care.

"That's harsh," Leo commented, and Alex glared at him. What a party pooper!

"You made the worst pranks," Alex said, frowning.

"Hey, bro, the pooping girl is coming this way," Anton said. Alex looked behind him again, and Louise was dashing toward him with an angry look, like a bull rushing at him.

"You like my welcome gift? You didn't tell me you'll be studying here. If you did, I would have prepared something better." Alex grinned as she stood a few meters from him.

."You're such a kid," Leo murmured beside me. Alex glared at him again.

Then he turned to Louise; her face was so red, and her body's trembling in anger.

If her eyes were a sword, he would have died a thousand times over. The other students were watching us, waiting for a show.

"Your gift? It's certainly something that I don't like. So...I'm returning it to you." Louise moved fast and swiped the wet brown paste—fake poop—on my face. "You like it?!"

Louise was like a wildcat with her claws raised. She grinned.

"Mother of—" Leo stopped cursing and stood up abruptly. The others were laughing harder, and some were even taking videos.

"Oh my God," the cheerleaders exclaimed in unison, like they were in a choir. Louise gave Alex more problems than he could count, and whenever they met, something bad happened. Like this one.

My handsome face will be full of poop in the forum. Who cares if it's fake? It will still be poop in the eyes of others! Alex lamented.

"Don't give me that look!" Axel snapped.

Louise rolled her eyes and straightened up. Then she raised both her hands in a boxing position.

"Are you crazy?!" Alex exclaimed.

"Monkey," Louise said.

"Amazon," Alex said.

"Dog poop."

"Pooping girl."

"Pile of shitface."

"Crazy girl."

"Uhm...excuse me..." Leo tried to intervene. "It seems both of you are really close friends. This is great! But can you...insult-"

"What freaking close friends?!" Louise and Alex reacted at the same time.

"We hate each other! He's my enemy!" Louise pointed at him, then she jumped on the latter's body.

It's on! Louise punched him in the face.

"Louise!" Alex shouted as he defended himself. Louise was on top of him, clawing and punching him. Shouts echoed around them, cheering.

Alex didn't want to hit women, and it included Louise no matter how much she irritated him, but she was over the top.

"Stop!" My friends pulled her away, but she kicked hard and struggled wildly.

Alex grimaced. He was sure there was a red mark on his face. Then, at the side, a woman rushed at Louise. Alex's current girlfriend grabbed her hair and other girls joined in.

It surprised Alex when he saw the crowd of girls attacking her.

"How dare you, you ugly wench!" Brianna shouted at the top of her lungs; her fingers clutched Louise's hair.

"Fight! Fight!" The other students shouted.

"Ouch!" Louise shouted in pain, and it woke Alex from his shock. He moved fast and pulled Louise away from the crowd. Everybody stopped, and Brianna stepped forward.

Alex's eyes roamed all over Louise's body, staring at the scratches. Brianna frowned, not liking his attention on her.

She said, "She deserves it."

"Brianna… no one can bully Louise but me," Alex declared. "No one can touch her but me only. Let's break up."

Alex pushed Brianna away when she clung to his arms, and she stumbled on the ground.

"Let's go!" He held Louise's arm. "Where were your self-defense lessons? Your courage? You can punch me and kick a door, but you can't push that ugly woman away?!"

"Ugh, shut up! This is your fault. Why do you have a girlfriend like that?"

"Are you jealous?"

"Are you crazy? Never!" Louise ran. "Don't go with me anymore. You're annoying!"

Alex laughed. They always found ways to one-up each other, but they would never let anyone bully each other.

Both of them didn't know that this fateful day was the start of their entanglement for a long, long time.
