"Hahahahaha...!" Troy bursted out laughing as he sat back down and laughed along side his sister.
Although, Temi didn't know the reason for which get laughed, she still laughed alongside him.
After laughing for sometime, Temi and Troy stared at each other as silence reigned.
After sometime, Temi asked;
"Why were you laughing, Troy?"
"Why 'you' laughing?" Troy asked back.
"I asked you first...!"
Temi argued.
"I asked you second!" Troy retorted.
Temi went silent.
Again silence ruled.
After sometime, Troy said;
"You should have seen your face when you were laughing...!" Troy chuckled.
Temi laughed.
"You're talking of 'my' face, did you see yours?" Temi asked.
Troy that was laughing now paused as he gave her a look and said;
"Do you have to always expose me like that?" He first asked.
"Expose you?" Temi asked as she frowned slightly, leaning to the side as she looked at him.
Troy nodded.
"Yeah, you're always exposing!" He exclaimed.
"Can't you ever cover up for someone?" He asked clearly annoyed.
"Chuckling a little, Temi said;
"I can't cover up evil, I expose them as it is...!" She said.
"What brought about the talk if evil now?" Troy asked.
"But if you cross your boundary, you also know I'm capable of doing when I'm mad..." Temi said gently.
Troy's eyes grew wide subconsciously as he stared at nothing in particular and said;
"I 'DO NOT' wanna talk 'bout that topic right now!"
Temi that had tried her face away, now turned and looked in her brother's direction as she smiled gently.
Troy also returned the smile.
After some seconds, of silence, Temi turned her eyes away from her brother as she stared into the atmosphere.
Troy knew she was deep in thoughts, but Temi was still conscious of her surroundings...
Taking her time though, Temi eventually asked;
"What did Mum and Dad tell you?"
Troy was a bit shocked by the question, but he had anticipated it, so he wasn't that surprised.
He had been looking at his sister fir the amount of time, she had been deep in thoughts.
But asking that question now, Troy slowly lowered his head.
Temi could see that he was a bit reluctant though, but he still opened up...
"Like I said earlier, I was walking past their room when I heard them mention your name...!" He began.
"At first, I thought they were just talking about how to send you to the Uni. You know?" He said as he asked at the end, hoping to get Temi's attention.
Temi eyes were lowered the entire time as she listened carefully to what he was saying.
Although, he had asked the question at the end, and obviously ought to have gotten a reply, Temi didn't reply, neither did she make a sound, nor nod her head...
She only rested he chin on fist slowly as she let him continue...
"So yeah, that's what I thought...!" Toey said.
"It's not what 'you' thought that I'm asking you of, it's 'bout what Momma and Pops spoke of that I'm interested in, and you know it!"
Temi seemed to have been engrossed in her thoughts as she thought of how her parents portrayed her to her younger ones, she unconsciously snapped at her little brother.
Once Temi snapped, Troy only smiled gently as he understood his sister's problem...
She was so concerned with how her parents brought out the issue to 'them' boys as she had different thoughts running through her mind...
How did they get know?
What did Mum and Dad tell them anyway?
What would picture would 'they' as parents want the boys to have about her...?
That last question was what bothered Temi the most.
How were they going to see her now?
As a murderer?
Her parents should have at least thought twice before telling it to the boys!
Troy seemed to have guessed what she was saying because he stretched out his hand and placed it on his sister's thigh, causing her to look at him with teary eyes.
"Big Sis...!" He called.
Temi looked at him.
Looking into his sister's eyes, Troy gently said;
"No matter what you're thinking, Mum and Dad, would never, and I mean ever, paint you like the black sheep in front of us...!" He said.
Although his voice was firm, his words were gentle, and comforting.
Temi looked away.
"And you should know better than anyone in this house, what Mum and Dad is like...!" He said again, his voice still firm.
"You should know who they are, what they're made of, how they act, why they do what they do, and stuffs like that!"
Slowly withdrawing his hand back to himself as he held onto his phone his two hands, he thought of something.
"Mum and Dad...!" He sighed as he said gently, causing Temi to look at him.
"Mum and Dad, didn't...!" He paused again before sighing.
"They didn't say that we should be weary of you or something!" He finally blurted.
"Then why did it take you that much time to blurt it out...?" Temi asked.
"They were actually talking on their own one night, and as I said, I was passing by...!" Troy said.
"I was a passerby at that time...!" Troy added as he joked.
Temi couldn't help but chuckle lightly as she looked up at her brother.
Troy was happy to see his sister laugh at least, so he continued.
"So, as I became a passerby, in my 'parents' own' house...!" Troy said as he placed some stress on the 'parents' own' part.
Temi smiled as she got the hint.
"I overheard them talking, so yeah, whatever, I thought it Business matters and stuffs like that...!" Tory said.
"So put on my ear pods...!" He said as he brought out his ear pods and showed it to his sister.
Nodding her head, Temi showed that she understood what he was saying.
Nodding, Troy put back the ear pods into it's case as he went on.
"That was when, I heard them call your name, so yeah, as I said earlier, I thought that it about your school and stuff, but then, as if I wasn't in control of my body more...!" Troy said.
Temi frowned.
"What'd you mean?" She asked.
"What I mean is, as soon as I heard your name, at the exact same time I placed my ear pods on, I unconsciously brought my hands back down!" Troy said.
"As in to listen...?"
"I guess...!"
"What do you mean 'I guess'...?" Temi asked slightly tensed up.
"You don't get me, do you?" Troy asked.
Temi didn't reply.
"You know that kind of experience you have when, you don't want to do something, but something propels you to do it anyway?" Troy asked.
"Yeah?" Temi nodded as she slowly understood what he was trying to say now.
Troy raised his eyes brows as he said;
"You get what I was trying to say now, right?" Troy asked.
Temi nodded her head.
Tilting her head to the right side, her neck bones cracked.
Tilting it to the left side, it made the same cracking sound, but it was much more than the right side.
So, tilting her head to the right side again, it made much more sounds than the first time, causing her to move her head swiftly to the side, causing it to make some more cracking sounds.
To the other side, it also made some cracking sounds.
"So when my hands wee brought down, I heard Dad asking; 'What does it mean?' " Troy continued ad he narrated.
Temi narrowed her eyes at him.
"What does what all mean?" Temi asked.
"I don't know, but he was all like; 'I know Temi more than anyone and I know that she won't do that, she's not capable of doing such a thing...!"
" 'She's not...!' Then Dad paused a little before going on to say; "She's not who you saw in your dream...!"
Temi listened carefully.
"Dad repeated it again, that it was not you that she had seen in her dream! That it must be someone else..!"
Temi was silent for a moment, before saying;
"How did Bryan and Lucas know then?" Temi asked.
"Well...!" Troy said as he leaned back into into his chair.
"A few days later, I think 'bout three (3) days or so, Dad gathered all of us in the family sitting room and had us all for a discussion...!"
"On what...?" Temi cut in.
"What's the situation on ground already?" Troy immediately replied.
Temi went silent.
"Where was I at that time?" Temi asked.
Troy thought as he shrugged.
"Well...!" He said as his eyes were looking up at the ceiling.
Pouting, he said;
"Hmmm, he said...I mean, you, were...well...!" He said as he sat up.
"I don't know where...oh!" He exclaimed at the end.
Temi looked at him.
Clicking his fingers, Troy pointed at Temi as he said;
"You were out with Olivia...!"
