"I need to speak to them...!"
Temi had finally found her voice and spoke.
"I need to speak to the real bad...!"
Troy finally came back to his consciousness and felt a little guilty.
"I want to tell them...I need to tell them that I am not the one that appeared in that dream and that God was just trying to warn them using my face in it...it's not me!" Temi said firmly as she raised her eyes to look at him.
"I know...!" Troy said.
"We all know...!"
"I don't think Mum and Dad would understand as much, and as fast as you just did, Troy...!"
Troy watched his sister.
"There are times both you and l know when Mum and Dad do get scared for no apparent reason!" Temi said as she brought herself forward and balanced her arms on her thighs.
"I know, but...!"
"Were you there when Mum told me 'bout her dream...?" Temi asked.
Troy kept quiet.
"Were you there?" Temi asked again.
"When did Mum tell you 'bout the dream...?" Troy asked.
"This morning when I was arranging my stuff!" Temi quickly replied.
Troy slightly narrowed his eyes, as Temi went silent for a while.
"She came into my room and chatted with me for some time, and then she went silent, and you know, she was suddenly so worried and her hands became shaky and her palms sweaty as she rubbed them together...!"
"My ear pods were plugged in, but...the songs weren't playing...!" Temi said the last part slowly as she thought of something.
"No wonder I was able to find her out so easily...!"
Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out a case. Opening it, she pulled out two (2) pods.
Looking at them, as if examining them, she said;
"That reminds me...I need to check them out, though...!" She said slowly in a low tone as she took a look at her ear pods, analyzing them.
Slowly taking them to her ear, she connected them to her phone and went to her music playlist.
Tapping on one side of the songs in there, she waited patiently as the music loaded.
To her surprise, the music played.
"What's wrong?" Troy asked when he saw his sister's sudden shock.
Slowly removing the ear pods from her ear and looking at them, she murmured;
"They're working now...!"
Putting them back, she went back to putting her chin on her hand.
"I need to find a way...!"
"A way for what...?" Troy asked.
"I need to let them know, that who Mum saw in her dream, wasn't me...!" Temi kept on saying as she got up and headed to where her parents were.
Troy shook his head.
Lowering his head, Troy could only sigh.
Moving past several rooms, Temi thoroughly searched the whole house...
She went from the balcony, where Troy and herself were, to the dining rooms, to the kitchen, and all the other rooms that there were in the vast house.
After about thirty long minutes of search (if not more), Temi became tired.
Walking back to her room, Temi came across Troy, still in the balcony, sitting on the same chair as with his iPhone still in hand, and his ear pods plugged in.
Raining his head up, he saw his sister pass, tired.
"Did you find them?" He asked.
Shaking her head in negation, Temi said;
"No!"
Seeing her feeling sad as she dragged her tired body up the stairs, Troy, couldn't help but sigh as he shook his head.
Heading for her room, Temi opened the door and slammed it shut after she had entered.
She then walked slowly towards her bed as she slumped herself on it and began to cry.
Silently sobbing, Temi asked;
"God why?"
"Why did my Mum have to, have such a dream?"
"Much worse, why did it have to be my face that had to be used?" She couldn't help but cry as she asked.
Burying her face in her pillow, she asked again;
"If it were someone else, why couldn't the person's face be used? Why mine?"
Temi couldn't help but cry.
Then she took out her phone.
Logging into Instagram, the first two (2) faces, Temi saw were the faces of Ethan and Olivia.
Frowning, she saw that they were both at the beach having a whole lot of fun...
As she slid through the pictures, she saw more and more pics of them...
Either holding hands, or holding each other...
Or kissing...
Or, surfing...
Temi frowned.
How were they able to get that last picture perfectly.
Grunting, she put down her phone and turned her face away.
Feeling sleepy, she closed her eyes and was about to enter dreamland, but then all of a sudden, her eyes popped open.
Rushing out of bed, she ran downstairs.
Downstairs, she headed straight for her parents' room.
Pushing the door open, both parents and three siblings sat down.
Seeing this, her eye became a bit teary.
Slowly moving forward, she said;
"Seems like I'm not part of the family...!"
"What's that supposed to mean?" Her Father asked as he got up.
Moving her hand in the direction of all of them seated there, she said;
"Everyone's gathered, except me!"
"What do you think we're gathered 'bout?" Her Father asked.
With tears rolling down her eyes, Temi answered in a low tone;
"Me...!"
Her Father went silent, but it was temporary.
"Even though we're gathered here and you weren't invited, doesn't mean that we weren't about to send for you sooner or later...!"
"After the main thing had been discussed!" Temi silently cut in.
Mr. Smith could only sigh deeply as he looked away from his daughter.
Opening her mouth to say something, Temi was at a temporary loss for words, before slowly saying;
"I'm not the one...!"
Her tone was silent yet firm and shaky.
Opening her mouth to say something, Temi's Mother called;
"Temi...!"
"That wasn't me, Mum!" Temi snapped.
Seeing that, the way she answered wasn't the right way, her shoulders dropped as she gently repeated;
"That wasn't me, Mum, it wasn't my face!"
Temi's Mother looked at her with gentle eyes as she said lowly;
"I know, but...!"
"But what Mum?" Temi asked.
"What?" Temi asked again.
"If you know...that is you're fully aware of the fact that it's not me, why do you have to insert fear in the hearts of Bryan and Lucas to be against me...?" Temi asked angrily and in tears.
"Temi...!" Her father called.
"What Dad?" Temi asked as she turned to face her Dad.
"What do you want to tell me?"
"Temi...!" Her Mother called gently.
Turning to her mother, she said;
"What do you want to tell me, what can you possibly tell me, that, wo...would possibly not be related to the fact that, you want these kids...!" Temi said as she pointed at her brothers.
"Kids...?" Lucas asked.
"Who you callin' kids?" Bryan asked.
"We not kids...!" Troy murmured.
"You want these kids to be frightened of me...you want these kids to stay aware of me, to think of me as a killer...!"
"Temi...!" Her Father called sternly.
Temi shook.
"Enough of that rubbish, now!"
After saying that, her Father looked away.
Crying, opened and closed her mouth multiple times as her words could not form.
Finally, Temi said;
"Dad, you know it's not me...!" Her voice, stern.
Turning to her Mother, she repeated;
"Mum, you also know it's not me!"
Her Mother, as tears rolled down her eyes, looked away as she raised her eyes to look at her husband.
Seeing this, Temi sighed as she turned to leave.
But as she did so, her Father without turning his head up, called her back.
"Temi!"
Her Father's firm voice called to her.
Pausing for a while, she slowly turned and responded;
"Dad?"
Sighing, her Father raised his head to look at his daughter.
Looking directly into the eyes of his daughter, Mr. Smith said;
"I never thought that one day you'd talk to me like that!"
Hearing this, Temi looked away with tears in her eyes.
"It's just...I don't want you guys to think that I'm the one that you saw in your dream...!" Temi silently said.
"Especially you Mum...!" Temi said as she called to her Mother.
Hearing her daughter call her, Temi's Mother slowly turned her head to look at her daughter.
"I never wanted, and I still don't want both Bryan, Troy, and Lucas to all have an idea if me going to kill anyone...!"
"Hey, why does my name gave to come last...?" Lucas whined.
"I'm the second oldest of the boys!" Lucas whined again.
Bryan gently patted his brother.
"Don't worry Aunt Temi...;" Bryan said in a cheerful voice.
"No matter what, I know you aren't capable of killing anyone...!"
"Even if it's your worst enemy, you can't raise your arm to kill that person!" Bryan said again.
"Yeah, besides...we're your family, we won't let some stupid dream break us!" Tory said.
"Especially the bond we've worked so hard to build, we can't just sit around and let it shatter!"
"No one can separate us, because we are inseparable!"
"That's why God revealed it to us on time so that we can be able to figure it out and eradicate the person and whatever he or she might have thought of doing to hurt us!" Troy said.
"My guess is, whoever that person is, they're jealous of us...!" Bryan said.
Troy hit him gently.
"Hey, my guess too!" Troy said as he looked down at his little brother with a smile.
"First time Big Bro Troy's giving me a smile...squee!" Bryan squealed as he helped his cheeks in excitement.
"Stop acting all girlish...!" Troy scolded.
"Girlish? How am I acting all girlish?" Bryan asked.
"It's probably because our family's the richest and most prosperous in the whole city...both far and near!" Lucas logically analyzed.
"Probably for the fact that Mum and Dad had already built a strong business empire that all of them out there even if they're given the same amount of years that were given to both Mum and Dad to build, they would require their whole lives to acquire the first year's achievements...!"
"Lucas...!" Troy called.
Turning to look at his brother as he adjusted his glasses, Lucas asked;
"What?"
Laughing lightly, Troy shook his head as he said;
"You don't say that...!"
"What do you mean, I shouldn't say that?" Lucas asked.
"You've probably not been too keen on the news lately...!"
