"You were out with Olivia...!" Troy said as now remembered.
Temi frowned.
"Out with Olivia...?" Temi asked.
Nodding, Troy repeated;
"Yeah, it was Olivia...!"
Temi lowered her head and her eyes as her face was in...a slight frown as she tried hard to remember the last time she was with her best friend Olivia.
"I think that time was when you guys went to the park...!" Troy said.
Temi's eyes widened and brightened.
"Ohhhhh...!" Temi screamed as she remembered.
"Oh, that time?"
Temi asked.
Troy nodded as he asked;
"You remember right?"
Temi nodded as she said;
"Yeah, that...that was last week!" Temi exclaimed.
"Last week, right?" Troy asked as he leaned back into his chair with his hand on his chin, as though in deep thoughts.
Temi looked at her brother as she slowly nodded.
"Yeah, that was last week...!" Temi replied.
"On a Wednesday!" Troy cut her short as he looked at her.
"Wednesday?" Temi asked.
Troy nodded.
"Yeah, it was Wednesday...!"
"Lucas and Bryan were both back from school...!"
"I was the one that had even gone to pick them up!" Troy said.
So sitting up again, he cleared his throat as he said;
"When we returned, you know that was the time you had stepped out with Olivia...!"
Temi nodded.
"Yeah...I remember!"
"That day, as we were just entering into the house and you both were stepping out, Dad called us in and said we had something to discuss...!"
"Yeah...no wonder...!" Temi cut in.
Troy looked at her.
"No wonder what?" He asked.
Temi looked at him.
"Was that why you were so down although out that day?" She asked.
"I was down?" Troy asked, clearly confused.
Temi shook her head as she gently chuckled.
"No, not down down, as in, 'down', 'down', 'down', like sick or something, but...!" She paused as she couldn't quite get something.
"But what...?" Troy asked.
"But...I don't know...!"
"Just say it...!" Troy was getting a little pissed off.
"You weren't happy...!" Temi blurted.
"You looked sad!"
"And throughout that day, you were quiet and quite pissed off with me that day, for 'no' apparent reason...!" Temi added.
"I was?" Troy asked oblivious of what his sister was saying.
Lowering his head down, he tried thinking deeply back to that day, but he couldn't remember him being pissed off.
"Can you tell me some of the things that happened that day?" He asked his sister.
"Don't tell me you can't remember...?" Temi asked.
"I don't!" Troy replied
Temi raised an eyebrow at him.
"I don't, like I seriously don't, remember anything that happened that day!"
Troy added.
As Temi was about to open her mouth to speak, Troy said.
"Other than this for which I am telling you!"
Temi let out a sigh.
Troy stuck out his tongue.
"I wouldn't let you embarrass me...!"
"How I wish you kept your tongue out so that I can pull it out!" Temi retorted.
Tie stick out his tongue again.
"Well, you didn't...God protected me and still does it up till tomorrow!" Troy said.
As Troy stuck out his tongue, Temi attempted to grab it, but Troy was swift enough to put it back in, causing Temi to wave her hand as she brought it to her mouth and began to bit her nails, causing Troy to burst out laughing.
"You had luck!" Temi blurted.
"You were 'really' lucky!" She repeated.
Troy couldn't contain his laughter.
As he laughed, Temi became annoyed as she said;
"Alright, alright, that's enough...!"
But it seems that what she said, tended to have increased Troy's laughter as if he had inhaled some laughing gas.
But the more Troy laughed on, the more annoyed and depressed Temi became.
When Troy refused to stop laughing, Temi took out her phone and was about to surf through the internet when Troy suddenly stopped laughing.
Lifting her head, she said;
"I thought you wouldn't stop laughing!"
As she said this, she returned her phone to the coffee table beside her.
Glaring at her, Troy said;
"So I would guess and judging from the looks of it, my guess is correct...!"
"And what guess is that," Temi asked as she crossed her legs in front of her as she leaned into the chair.
"That you deliberately did that so that I would stop laughing...!"
"And your guess was right!" Temi cut him short.
"I know...!" Troy said.
"I was just stating it as an obvious fact!"
Temi raised an eyebrow.
Troy grinned, revealing his sun-like white teeth as if they were pearls.
"When Dad called us in that day...;" Troy said as he changed the topic.
"We went straight to the family sitting room...!"
"When we entered, we found Mum sitting on a sofa with her deep in thoughts as she looked worried...!"
At the mention of their Mother being worried, Temi felt her heart drop as her hand quivered.
Troy studied her.
"When we were seated, Dad began talking...!"
"He first asked us how school was for that day, and hope there wasn't anything like trouble or stuffs like that, and we were like yeah you know, the school was great and yeah...you know!" Troy was all like.
"Then he, well, he took his time, because...he was silent for some time, he looked nervous though, he was extremely anxious and, well, that, that was pretty weird...!" Troy said.
"Buy then he decided to push all the anxiousness and seriousness away as both he and Mum, became really serious as they began talking...!"
"Dad was all like; 'I know why you guys might be wondering why we called you three here and not with your sister, am I right?' he first asked," Troy said.
"That was when the thee if we noticed that you weren't in the sitting room with us that day!"
"Then I was all like, 'Yeah it's true, why hadn't you guys sent for her before she left with Olivia?' I asked."
"Then I was about talking about my phone when Mum stopped me saying that it had to do with you, as in, 'you...!" Troy said as he tried to make Temi understand.
Temi nodded, an indication that she clearly understood what he was trying to say.
Nodding, Troy continued.
"When she said that it had to do with you and yet, not 'with' you, I was confused at first, u mean, had something to do with and yet not with you again, I was completely confused...!"
"But then, I just had to play dumb to listen to what they had to say...!" Tory said nonchalantly as he shrugged his shoulders.
"Then, taking in a deep breath, Dad asked us if we've noticed anything off about you recently...!" This part piqued Temi's interest as she leaned forward from the chair which she sat in.
"We were like...well at first we all looked at each other in confusion, although, I had heard all what Momma and Pops what discussed 'bout till the end, I still hadn't understood what they were saying, nor, what they were about to reveal at the meeting that day...!"
"I didn't know that what they were 'bout to reveal was connected to what I had heard the previous day...!"
Sighing, Temi waited patiently for the bomb to drop.
"So but, yeah, when they asked that question, we all looked at each other, obviously confused and stuff!"
"When Mum saw this, she was like; 'So you three didn't notice anything out of the ordinary with your sister, like she acting odd, being secretive or something?' "
"And we were like; 'No, we didn't...!' 'Big Sis is acting normal to me, and she even handed me some of my favorite biscuits today!' Bryan said." Troy said.
"It was then I noticed Mum and Dad look at each other, as if in worry, or, in thoughts or something...I just couldn't understand their facial expressions...!" Troy said.
"It was then that Dad sighed and told us the dream from beginning to the end of it and then we were left speechless as we all looked at each other!"
"When he explained the dream to us, it was then that it dawned on me that had me understand what they had been talking about the previous night!"
"Bryan was already on the verge of tears but, wrapping his arms around him, Lucas pulled him into a hug."
"Then Mum and Dad, especially Dad warned us to be careful...and also you...!" Troy said.
"What do you mean?" Temi asked as her eyebrows furrowed slightly, as her chin rested on top of her thigh as she clenched her fist.
"Well, what Dad meant about that was that we should be very careful and observant...!"
"If we notice anything in you, that we think is off, we should report to them immediately...we shouldn't hide anything...!"
"But the only thing we were expected to hide was the meeting!" Tory said.
"We shouldn't have let you know that we all had that meeting and sooner had they told us, the sooner, someone exposed it all..!" He said, 'clearly' referring to his brothers, especially Lucas, or was Bryan?
When he was narrating everything to his Temi, he watched her expression.
He couldn't read her perfectly, but he could tell that she was deep in thoughts...
Deep in my thoughts...
Within about one (1) full minute, Temi was extremely silent. Her silence was eerie, it had Troy subconsciously becoming weary of her as he watched her wide-eyed.
Then slowly, crystals of tears began rolling down her eyes.
Troy didn't know what to do, whether to comfort her or anything...
He just sat there and watched.
"I need to speak to them...!"
