Tezariah woke up to the light of the sun. He stood up and checked himself and his stuff. He sighed as it seems nothing was lost and all his stuff was still in his magic ring. Tezariah then checked for magic in the area and found that this place was so abundant in mana, it was 10x more any place he knew. But he felt that the magic of this place, aside from untapped was muddled and distorted. Though it was pure, it was chaotic and absorbing it required refining it delicately. He felt that this world was weaker wizards who had no knowledge of mana refining.
Tezariah then looked at his environment... A forest. He sighed and started walking while slowly refining the magic in the area, recovering his strength. For 3 days, Tezariah walked at the forest, hunted animals like snakes and birds and took a bath at a river. Tezariah felt like his old life once again. He followed the river downstream and after another 2 days, he saw buildings. He curiously stared at them as it was all sorts of shapes and colors. He walked towards it. He saw humans walking and staring at him. He felt weird and wanted to talk to someone but he could understand their language.
Tezariah casted [Decipher] to the man, but the magic failed to give a good result as it required him to look more into the language's origin. Tezariah continued to walk, aware to the stares at him. He mindlessly walked and bumped into someone. The person stared at him but then stared down and walked away.
Tezariah sighed and sat down at random alley and started refining magic when he heard a loud high-pitched sound. Two people approached him, a man and a woman and said something to him he could not understand. So he made hand signals that he could not understand them. The woman seemingly to understand his hand signals pointed to him and pointed to a white box-like thing with wheels and a colorful blue-to-red stuff at the top. He nodded and walked towards the thing. The man, opened the side of the thing and inside was a couch.
Tezariah seemingly to understand that he is to be transported somewhere entered the box-thing when the man pointed inside. He sat comfortably and when both of them entered, the man entered a key to a hole and a low engine could be heard. Tezariah was amused, he thought that only the dwarves and those eccentric mechanics would be interested in this kind of stuff. He curiously watched as the man stepped at a pedal and the thing moved. He was amazed. Although he does know of stuff that moves using engine power in his world, most of it was clunky and slow with too much smoke coming out from it. Tezariah excitedly looked at the way the man was driving. It even got to the point that the woman, looked at Tezariah weirdly and signaled him to sit back.
After 20 or so minutes, they stopped both of them exited and the man opened the door. Tezariah felt that this "carriage" was too convinient. Tezariah excited the box-thing and followed the two. He entered through an alley and into a messy wide area where people where shouting. The woman signaled him to follow her and he followed until they arrived at a desk. The woman signaled the chair and Tezariah sat. The woman was asking questions, but he didn't know how to answer as he didn't understand.
Tezariah casted [Foresight] and [Hypermind] to try and learn. Slowly as the woman was getting annoyed from trying to communicate, Tezariah was learning the gist of the language. Tezariah could barely understand it when the woman gave up and pointed at what seemed like a prison cell. He immediately knew what was going to happen and sighed. He decided to stay and continue to digest the information he got from [Foresight] and [Hypermind]. Anyways he could just cast [Teleportation] if he wanted. He was escorted and entered the cell where he sat down and closed his eyes.
Time passed and it was night, he felt that what he gained was a bit substantial. He called for a guard on duty and asked for a book. The guard gave him a book that was on a random table. Tezariah started reading slowly, but as the night passes by, Tezariah started to read faster and more clearer until it was dawn. He managed to learn this thing called English.
