"Something must have triggered your power to act, that must be reason why it happened". Ayla said holding Stella's hands in her.
"What do you mean?". Stella asked her both eyebrows raised like they will just leave her forehead any moment.
"It's like this, at first you get to know what your power is when something happens that triggers it for you to react." Ayla explained.
Stella nodded, agreeing with her. The bubble had only appeared so far when she felt she was in danger but what happen just now.
"So what happen just now…. whatever I did was?".
"Something must have triggered your power". Ayla said.
"It's like this, our family belongs to a special royal family and few more families like us have some special powers that are unknown to ordinary people. Each person holds a different power and you being one of us you are as well bestowed with those powers, so you shall master it yourselves ". Ayla said clearing some clouds in Stella's mind.
Stella wasn't that surprised when Ayla told her about them having powers because when she came to this place and with all those things happening when she arrived she knew that something was different about this place. But she is also part of it.
"So you are saying I have some kind of powers within me?". Stella asked.
'What is happening, I had only imagined and guessed about few things by some of my experience and thought something was different with me, but it turns out that I've freaking supernatural powers within me.'. Stella felt her world turning upside down. If she had not got involved in it, it would have sounded outlandish to her.
"Actually…..I'm not sure when it started, but I've found myself inside a bubble It feels….. really weird…". Stella stated.
Ayla saw her cute little face that was still confused and trying to process everything, "It's not weird you're just gifted. I'm like that too"
Stella:"….."
Cough cough cough.
Me? Gifted?
"Won't it be problematic if I just randomly go on attacking and going inside a bubble". Stella asked.
'Won't I die if the power gets triggered in public place, and then she is held captive in one of the weird scientist's lab to research her body inside-out to find out what is going on with her.
Various tube attached to her with machine monitoring it. Beep…beep….beep….'. Stella could imagine the machine beside her making noise. Stella's entire body shook thinking of the creepy movie that shows some weird scientists.
Ayla chuckles hearing and seeing Stella reaction. "That won't be a problem. You can control it with some practice and master it with time".
"So Stephen can bring out a sword out of nowhere whenever he wants?". Stella asked remembering the sword with Stephen.
"You already saw that?". Ayla said receiving a nod from Stella.
"Yea, and he is pretty great with it, always boosting about it. It's late you should sleep now". Ayla left after asking Stella if she needs anything but Stella declined.
Stella had a hard time sleeping in the new room that was assigned to her. The fluffed pillow and soft mattress underneath her did nothing to comfort her already uncomfortable self and the thought of what happened in the balcony gave her goosebumps and tears away her idea of going there to relax her mind.
Turning and twisting for half an hour her exhausted body finally went to a deep slumber.
After few hours, turning the door knob as silently as possible, making her way in, not disturbing the person who was sleeping inside.
Stella's mother gently came inside Stella's room.
Stella's mother while coming in didn't notice that there was already someone present in Stella's room while focusing on entering silently to not disturb Stella.
The person already inside become cautious when he saw the door knob turning, and he immediately got in a hiding place.
Stella's mother gently sat on the edge of Stella's bed oblivious of someone else presence.
"Mom really missed you my dear", Stella's mother said in a hush tone not to let her daughter's sleep break. She gently stroked the girl's hair, eyes, cheeks lightly caressing her.
She had not met her daughter for long time, just seen her from a long distance, but not approaching her.
Lingering around a while longer Stella's mother got up. Gently tugging the sheet up afraid of Stella getting a cold and left closing the door behind her.
Seeing as Stella's mother retreated, closing the door behind her, Darren emerged from his hiding place. He glanced at Stella one last time before heading toward the balcony—the same one he had entered from earlier.
Early the next morning, Stella woke up to the sound of a knock on the door. She opened it, and Ayla walked in with a beaming smile on her face.
"Good morning ". Ayla greeted her enthusiastically.
"Why are you not ready for the lunch yet?". Ayla asked seeing Stella still in night wear clothes.
"Let's get you ready". Saying this Ayla walk toward the wardrobe, opening the huge close-set to only find it was totally empty.
Thinking that she will just have her piece of answer from her parents she will move back to her daily life within just a day. So Stella had just packed only an extra pair of clothes, just in case of an emergency. Not expecting the visit to go for long.
Not minding anything Ayla just moved to the next close-set which was field with different type of cloths when opened.
"Yeah, here they are. When I went for the shopping earlier I have brought some cloths for you too. I couldn't resist myself from buying those for you thinking it would look so good on you. So I asked the maids to put them in your room when I got to know you would be coming." Ayla explain.
"Have we met before?" Stella asked hearing on what Ayla said carefully. She doesn't remember meeting Ayla.
"No, we haven't." Ayla said while shuffling thorough the clothes.
"Then how do you know how I look like?"
"That umm...". Ayla hesitated a little before saying.
"I accidentally stumble over your photo in aunt's room, your 'mom'. So I got to know you. At that time I didn't know that some day you would be here in front of me until a few days early." Ayla said, she could very rarely predict a person nature by just looking at them, but she always gets it right. She could also feel the same way toward Stella. A ray of positive aura emitting from her.
Stella was overwhelmed with what Ayla said and raised new question in her mind.
"You should wear this for today". Ayla said making a halt to Stella thought of train they were running wild in her head.
Not minding her silence Ayla just brought the dress and pushed it in Stella's arms.
"We should definitely go for shopping together later, okay". Ayla said blissfully taking Stella's silence as an yes she left the room.
After getting ready Stella with the help of a maid reached the dinner hall.
"...left early this morning. So Darren won't be joining us". Stella could hear Ayla's faint voice from the entrance.
When Stella entered everyone inside become silent with her presence, observing the new arrival.
Stella caught sight of Ayla who waved her hand slightly at her to come sit next to her.
Stella's mother and father sat on the main sets. Stella was at their right side with Ayla and Stephen and some other people opposite them whom she didn't know occupying other seats with two seats with plate being left empty.
No one said anything Stella also not wanting to bring the subject in front of so many people didn't say anything and the breakfast started.
After a while she heard her father said to met them in the hall, and she nodded. That's what's she really here for.
After the breakfast was completed, Stella was setting in a room. Her father was sitting opposite her with her mother who sat beside her on the couch.
A minute went in a silent without anyone saying anything.
Stella's father had always known how to handle things properly, but today he didn't even know where to start when it comes to his daughter.
At last taking a deep breath he broke the silence.
"I really don't know from where I should start from, Ayla must have told you about the power, and we know that what we have done must have not been too good in your eyes.
We thought that we would be back to you in a month but due to an unexpected incident our hands where tied, so we couldn't do much. But what we have done was to protect you from the forthcoming danger and that was the only thing we could have done at that time to keep you safe".
