"Hey, let's go". One of the man said in a bit of loud voice after getting out of the car.
Stella open her eyes when she felt a hand wrap around her neck.
"Get her". Darren said looking at Odin. Odin looks more suspicious of how Darren was acting since he got call from Stephen. The look in his eyes were intrusive, like a sharp surgical knife.
'Gosh, Scary! What's with him?'. However, Odin obeyed and got out after Darren parked their car ahead of the other.
When Odin was just few steps behind , Stella swiftly hit the person beside her in the stomach with her elbow. She could not stop herself for any longer, they have brought this situation upon themselves.
The man hiss in pain and bend down holding his stomach. She than hit his spinal cord again with her elbow and the person fell flat on the ground. She was looking at him with furious eyes. The other two sitting in the car got down after they saw Stella hit their friend in stomach.
Odin who was rushing over to Stella to help her stop in his traces when he saw how the situation unfolded before him and stood their stupefied.
The other friend with pineapple hairstyle had tried throwing a punch toward her, but Stella grasped hold of his arm and flipped him down onto his back.
His other friend stop for moment but still rushed to punch Stella. Avoiding his sloppy punch Stella threw a hard kick in his groin area and the man toppled in pain on ground.
Odin who was still stupefied with his mind blown out in the middle of the road knocked back to his senses and look behind toward Darren who was in the car.
'She doesn't need any help bro, but it's more like those guys does. Why is he sending me over to her? To get beaten up?'. He now seriously started to consider whether he should ditch away from here. He subconsciously took a step behind which kicked a small stone behind him.
Stella looks up from the mess on the ground and saw a person wearing a hoodie covering his half face. His one step behind him like he will start walking backward any moment.
"Sorry to disturb you ". Odin said immediately straightening up and removed his hood from his head. A stunning face greeted her. Blond hair, straight nose, big doe eyes.
"I…I was coming to help you….but that's not needed now I think….hehehe". He said loudly than recalled why Darren had sent him here for and added pointing at the car which was waiting. "Do you want a lift we are going to Silver City?".
Stella hesitates for a moment and then decided to agree. She knew she wouldn't be able to walk away by herself with her current situation. Avoiding stepping on the pineapple head guy she moves forward.
"Thanks a lot". Stella said getting near Odin. "I am Stella McCartney". Stella introduced herself in an attemp to get his name.
"No worries, I'm Odin Griffiths ". Odin said with a polite smile he was a bit take aback by her surname.
Stella followed Odin to the car. Odin opened the back seat door for her. closing the door behind he himself got in the shotgun seat.
The car pick up the speed and left the area leaving the people in the back car dumbfounded. They were from the rich background, so they instantly recognized Odin as they have seen him in some rare occasions and were stunned. They could never able to reach to the high were they could hang out with Odin and seeing him here had left them stunned.
"Thanks for your help". Stella said again noticing someone at the driver seat, but it was too dark with only the streetlight to see the persons face clearly because the car light were also off. The person didn't reply, but Stella didn't mind it.
Placing the small box beside her Stella texted Ayla and saw Rika's miscalls. She had call when Stella was in the police station. Stella had put the phone on silent after entering, so she didn't hear it.
'She must be asleep by now'. Stella thought and put the phone back, but it soon started ringing loud in the quietness.
Stella quickly picked the call, there was silence for a few seconds. She brought the phone to her front to check, 'its connect' seeing this Stella said, "Hey Rika?".
"So you still remember me". Rika's voice come through the receiver.
"Of course I do my pie". Stella said in a sweet voice to pacify Rika.
"You ungrateful brat, you should at least call me and talk to me. I am so worried". Rika said Stella knew that she was anxious about her since they have known each other for long time.
"I was going to but so much is going on here". Stella said and touched the pendent on her neck that her mother gave her before she left the room, as she remembered her parents talk.
"Now tell me what happen, are they good to you?". Rika asked a little hesitate not wanting to be a busybody but still asked out of worry.
"Yea totally, it's all good here". Stella said with a soft smile on her face.
"That's a relief". Rika said she did not want Stella to be in trouble.
"Hey do you remember talking about….". 'Darren' Stella hesitate saying, but Rika is her best friends, and they have been together through thick and thin, and she trusts her. There is no need to hide it from her, so Stella continued, "Darren?".
Hearing Darren's name in the conversation the ears of the two people sitting in the front picked up especially Odin, ready to hear the gossip.
Odin saw Stella touching a pendent from the front mirror and his eyes filled with shocked, and he turned to look at Darren who was clam. He knows the meaning behind it and the pendent being with this girl means only one thing, that she has special power.
If not for Stella sitting right behind them Odinn would have pounce on Darren with questions.
