Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

Radha was to be married, it happened. She could not understand this deceit of Krishna.

Man is very bastard, insidious, deceitful and thought emptiness remains in the veins. She was ready to lay down her everything for Krishna, but Krishna was confused in himself. He could never know Radha's pain. Suddenly one day there came an order of deceit Krishna to go to Mathura. When Radha and the sakhis heard this, they became very distraught. She started searching for Krishna all over Vrindavan. Krishna was sitting on a tree enjoying his flute. Radha and the sakhis told that

"Krishna! Akrur ji has come to pick you up from Mathura."

Hearing this, Krishna quickly got down from the tree and said

"really"

Radha held Krishna's hand and asked

"Can you really leave Kanha?"

Krishna released his hand and said,

"Why not. You all got married. Who's here for me now?"

Radha and her friends shuddered. Seeing his twinkle, Krishna smiled and walked towards his house. He didn't even look back. Radha and the friends started crying bitterly. Radha then sat there with Dhamma. Krishna's indifference broke him.

Suddenly the night started to darken. It started raining heavily. Old Amma's sleep was broken. It had started raining heavily. Old Amma had kept her hut lit with a lamp. Lightning was on. Old Amma would get frightened by the loud sound of lightning and would wrap herself inside. She lay down on the cot. The door had closed. The fear of someone coming was over. The sound of wind from outside was frightening old Amma.

Then there was a knock on the door. Old Amma, holding herself up, stood up from the cot and thought,

"Now who has come tonight?"

There was a knock on the door again. Old Amma hurriedly went up to the door and asked from inside,

"Who is it?"

sound came from outside,

"I am."

Old Amma opened the door. A Sudarshan-like young man was standing outside and trying to escape from the rain.

The old mother said,

"Come in, don't get wet, passerby."

His face was dripping heavily. He looked intently at the old Amma. Old Amma could not read the expression of the young man's face in the light of the lamp.

then she said

"Son drink water"

"No"

said the young man.

"Eat something"

On this the young man did not do it again. He said,

"Can I stay here overnight?"

Old Amma started talking to the young man. In a few words, that young man told.

"Where did he come from and where will he go"

Old Amma sat next to him on the bed and asked,

"Where is your house in Gokul? Why are you going to Barsana?"

"I'm going to meet someone special."

"Who is that?"

Old Amma asked.
