Old Amma grinded her teeth to the inside and tried her best to stop the tears flowing from her eyes, but still the tears came out of her eyes. Mangatu said,
"Amma why are you crying? He could never understand Radha's unconditional love."
Amma put her hand on Mangatu's mouth and said,
"She must have had some compulsion too."
Hearing this, Mangtu started laughing sarcastically,
"You too are naive like Radha. Maybe you too would have forgiven Krishna like Radha."
Old Amma exhaling said,
"And why don't you want to go to Barsana"
"Amma, I will not be able to bear Radha's sorrows."
"You know Radha is there?"
"No Amma, but where will the poor person go? The husband had mistook her for a kulata(characterless). The lover cheated on her. Who will be his support except Pehar(father's house)?"
Old Amma fell into thought. Mangatu shrugged and asked, "Amma, what are you thinking?"
"Hey Pagle, I am wondering whether Radha will be there or not"
"I don't know mama"
Mangtu also became disheartened.
"So let's go Amma home or go to Barsana or Gokul?"
"No, now I will go to my hut only"
Mangatu said,
"Amma, come out wearing a khadaoon(wooden sleeper)."
Old Amma walked towards the house.
Suddenly a black cloud started covering the sky. Peacocks started talking. Old Amma tried to speed up her steps but could not walk fast due to age.
Then the sound of the flute was heard again. Maybe it was the delusion of old Amma or someone was playing a flute with a really melodious sound. Old Amma tried to hear from which direction she was coming with emphasis on her ears. Old Amma followed behind that sound coming from the north. She reached the beautiful forest. Where various flowers were blooming all around. The whole atmosphere was mesmerizing with the sweet fragrance. Animals and birds who were fascinated by the mind were roaming. The deer were filling up the klanche(overjoy). The rabbits were howling. The cow was caressing its calves. Seeing the wonderful shade of the forest, old Amma sat down with emotion and started looking at them.
Then he started to remember the beloved hidden in his heart. She did not care that she had promised her beloved that she was leaving them and would never disturb them. But don't know why today she was remembering her beloved a lot. And she wanted to see them.
"How many years have passed, look at an image of him"
Old Amma was thinking that the melody of the murli(flute) was heard coming near.
