Chapter 27 - E2 C3 Time to Have Fun! Part 2

Looking around herself Lilac was trying to find where the audacity of this bitch was coming from. Her? Being a Normie? It was probably the greatest insult she'd ever received from someone. Well other than the handful that would probably get Lilac cancelled for life.

"So I am guessing you are just at the arcade for views, or is it because you have absolutely nothing better to do with your life?" Lilac questioned giving Pixie a somewhat peeved look.

"Oh come on Normie! You're on camera so ya gotta smile!" Pixie said striking a pose.

"Gotta Smile!" The horde of paparazzi that was migrating in the direction reiterated striking the same exact pose Pixie struck.

"So, uh I am just going to go look for my friend. Hope you enjoy whatever this." She paused to indicate Pixie and the army standing behind her. "Is."

Trying to walk off so she could go find the vanishing Loki. Lilac soon found herself being stopped by Pixie and her camera crew once again.

"Oh no you don't skank, you are way too close to my man. That is something we just cannot have, and something we are going to do something about live!" Pixie spun around gesturing to all of the games. Giving special hints to one game in particular. A dancing game.

"First of all who's your man, second of all. Is there something going on with your neck? It seems to be getting stuck in the direction of that game." Lilac said blinking through the blinding flashing lights of the arcade, and of the paparazzi that surrounded both her and Pixie's crew.

"You don't know who my man is? Really normie? You were just with him!" Pixie yelled throwing out her hand and pointing to the DDR machine. "I challenge you to a dance off! The one who can get the highest score gets to spend more time around my man!"

Lilac blinked not really understanding what in the world was happening in this moment. Or at all really. She had been in many of situations where things were either weird...or just much stranger than what she was used to experiencing, and this situation was reaching a point that was definitely much stranger than what she had experienced in a while. Which was saying something as she shared a room with Carter and Kersay. Both of who gave her a run for her money on a daily basis of strange or weird.

What was even more confusing was the fact that she thought that Lilac was doing something with her man, she knew she wasn't that kind of person and it definitely didn't make sense that someone would think she's trying to steal someone's man.

"Fine. If it'll get you to leave me alone I'll play along. I'm here to have fun with my friends, not to waste my time with you." Lilac sighed walking over to the game looking it up and down, it was obviously in good condition, yet still showed signs of being used quite frequently. And to her surprise there was enough room on it for four people to play against each other.

"Getting started without us?" Luka questioned pushing through the crowd to stand next to Lilac and look between her and the girl responsible for the living mass of the crowd.

"No, just getting challenged to a dancing game. Because-" Lilac paused indicating Pixie with her thumb. "- She thinks that I'm doing something with her man, and I don't even know who her man is, so I'm just doing this to make her happy and to get her off my back so we can enjoy our time here. After I find where Loki went. He just poofed. Again."

"So you are with my man!" Pixie growled getting into Lilac's face. "The nerve of this bitch."

"Wait. You're Loki's girlfriend?" Lilac took a step back as that news floored her. He never mentioned anything like that to her before, and when she had asked him if he was in a relationship. Only out of sheer curiosity that is, there was no way she had a crush on him. None at all. Not even a sign of interest in him. Okay maybe a little bit of interest.

Though that interest was now thoroughly quenched with the realization that she had been lied to by him.

Was it me? Or is my luck with people just that bad now? Lilac thought to herself having a split moment of zoning out and definitely suddenly craving a cigarette.

"Oh. You like Loki as well?" Luka questioned bringing Lilac back to earth

"Not particularly in that way, we're just friends and teammates that's it." Lilac answered turning her attention back to the now seething Pixie. "Are you okay?"

"No I am not okay with you two normies ignoring me! If both of you want to even get close to my man without getting hurt get on the damn game!" Pixie yelled loud enough to even gain Carter and Cayde's attention.

Sighing Lilac stepped onto the game standing on the right most portion of the game with Pixie in the middle portion and Luka at the end of it.

Pixie was the one who selected both the song and the difficulty, which to Luka, and Lilac's dismay. Was the hardest difficulty that the game had to offer EXXtreme.

"What am I getting myself into now...?" Lilac muttered under her breath as the song began to play.

Walking towards the table which had many of the mysterious figures that he couldn't necessarily make out well with how dark it was. Given that Rampage had known he was there, it was safe to assume that the rest of Thorns were here as well.

"Glad you're feeling well too Rampage, thanks for asking." Loki retorted his voice thick with sarcasm that would normally result in him kissing the floor. But with who was in this room, Rampage wasn't about to act out. None of them were going to as their lives depended on it.

As Loki stepped closer to the table, the lights flickered on revealing just who he suspected would be at the table. Minus one person. At least that was what he thought when he saw a monster of a man walk out from the backroom of the coffee shop.

Standing at a staggering seven foot five. The leader of their little terrorist cell, Rosen had entered the room. Eying all of them quietly before his gaze finally settled upon Loki. A interested smile forming amongst his lips.

"Nice to see you alive and well Murder. Time to give your report." His thick country drawl echoed throughout the empty café.
