"HEY!" Ether called from the top of his Sky Beast.
Danitour was talking to his people about the future of Krugi and the Infinus Legion itself. Ether couldn't hear exactly what he was saying, but he didn't mind.
"Oh, hey!" Danitour replied.
"GET THE REST, WE'RE GOING TO ETEK DUR!" he excitedly announced.
Deep down, Danitour didn't like where they were going. He was aware Etek Dur was one of the major Feral hotspots around Imbushko, but also because it was near the Light Legion.
But regardless of his uncertainty, Danitour had to go with him. He was a high ranking Prime within the Infinus Legion, meaning he had to welcome the new members of their Legion.
Ether waited for what felt like an hour. Just as he considered landing down and grabbing something to eat, he saw two more Sky Beasts raising up from the pens.
One of them was Gloria, and the other was random Sky Beast. He looked over them and saw the passengers.
"Lead the way!" Valentine screamed.
The three Sky Beasts quickly gained speed, and soon enough they found themselves gliding towards Etek Dur.
-An hour later-
Three Sky Beasts touched down on the platform. Eterra members gathered around their new Legion, patiently watching what was about to happen.
Valentine, Hizentre, and Ether got off their Sky Beasts to introduce Kellenas into the Legion. Before the four could come together, a Feral dropped down on Ether.
"You left me here!" Oria said between gritting teeth.
Before Ether could say a word, he saw two other Ferals come out from the crowd. These two looked exactly like Oria, with the only difference being their clothes.
Those two Ferals had what appeared to be Abako hide to cover themselves. The way they dressed represented a Feral's need to quickly move.
Most of their legs, stomach, arms, neck, and face were completely revealed to the outside world. With the thick golden hide covering their breasts and waist down to their knees.
Unlike Oria. Oria wore similar clothes to what Ether had the previous day. He gifted her new clothes because he wanted her recovery to be comfortable.
"Get off him!" one sister said.
The other tackled Oria off Ether and pinned her against the dry wood of the platform. "Oria, tanuk brabo tanomko! (Oria, stop being weird!)" she growled.
"Can you let her go, please? I want to talk to her," Ether convinced her to let Oria go.
Oria quickly pushed her sister off and stood up again to confront Ether. Both of them stared at each other briefly, before Ether caught her in his brotherly grasp.
"Stop it, please," he whispered.
Both of them walked over to Kellenas, who was staring at them the entire time. He looked down at Oria with a serious stare in his eyes.
"Right. Well, Ether, mind introducing us?" Valentine asked.
Ether nodded and stepped forward. "Everyone, I am proud to say we are officially allied with a Feral pack. This right here is the Alpha Male, his name is Kellenas."
Valentine and Hizentre both got closer to shake Kellenas' hand. While the first three were showing a warm welcome.
Jakery, Danitour, and Hazen stayed on their Sky Beasts.
Not everyone there had the same reason of staying on top of their Sky Beasts. Jakery was there because he was shy, Hizentre taught his daughter not to interfere with an important event.
But Danitour stayed there because of his memories. He had a dark past, a little secret only a few know about. Those who defended against the Breckus Legion knew about it.
Those same Zegi passed the story down to their children, which poisoned their perspective on the whole Feral race.
Danitour was still up there because he didn't trust them, he didn't believe they were actually bending the knee and obeying orders. He only believes Ferals are there for whatever benefits them.
He watched as Ether pointed them all out, one by one, to Kellenas. He wanted them to have a proper introduction to each other, but Danitour wasn't in favor of it.
When he heard Ether say his name, Danitour flinched. He didn't want the Ferals to know his name. The only thing Danitour spited were Ferals because of that dark past.
"...Hello?" Kellenas asked.
Danitour jumped back in shock. "Wha, huh, who? Oh, hello..." he quickly responded.
"Danitour, that is correct?" Kellenas wanted to verify.
"...Yes, that is my name," Danitour sourly replied.
"Danitour..." Kellenas repeated, he enjoyed the strange sounding name. "You have a good name, Danitour."
"Thank you... err..?"
"Kellenas Tovi," Kellenas finished the sentence.
"Thank you Kellenas, it's a pleasure having you and your Ferals along for the ride," he bitterly said.
Danitour was stunned by his own sentence. He didn't want to keep the Ferals within the Legion, he wanted to drive them away. But because of his nature and trance, his mouth automatically answered without thought.
Kellenas felt pleased with Danitour's answer, he thought Danitour was being sincere in his welcome. But in reality, it was a lie. One fabricated to drive his attention away.
The Feral moved onto Hazen, who was sitting in the other Sky Beast alongside Jakery. He continued to introduce himself to the other Variants who weren't in the first group.
"We did it, Danitour. We have the loyalty of a Feral pack now!" Valentine smiled.
"I suppose so. But will they remain loyal?" Danitour snapped back.
Valentine noticed the strange reply. "Bitter reply. What's the problem?"
"N - nothing. I'm just nervous because..." Danitour quickly tried thinking of a response. "I... never... been allies with Ferals before. Yeah, that."
Valentine chuckled. "I've been allies with Oria since way before the Light Legion. Back when she was still a pup. Who knew so many years later she'd grow up and find my students as friends?"
"Has she ever done anything strange to or around them?"
"No, unless you count repeatedly jumping on Ether's back for no reason as strange," Valentine sharply replied.
Danitour nodded and looked up. He saw all the silent Ferals looking down at them, their eyes seemed vicious and hungry... to him.
In reality, all the observing Ferals nervously watched one of their leaders welcome six strangers. Each one didn't make a sound and stood incredibly still, it was a tactic Ferals used when scared.
But to Danitour, these frightened Ferals were still dangerous. Even if they were part of the Legion.
After looking above, Danitour looked around the same platform to see if anything else has changed. He knew Ferals were full of tricks.
Instead of seeing anything that raised concern. He saw Valentine and Hizentre having a conversation with Kellenas and another female Feral.
"Ferals are not my allies, not after what you did," Danitour thought to himself.
