"Wake up!!!, Gina wake up," Kim called as Gina mumbled some nonsense and tried to go back to sleep.
"Stand up gina," she shouted louder this time dragging Gina out of the bed.
"What is going on," she frowned dragging her tired words. "But it is saturday."
"Yeah it is Saturday," she said quickly and resumed to packing her clothes as fast as she could. "Why are you packing?" "What is happening," she asked with her eyes fully opened.
"My dad found us, OMG he found us."
"Pack quickly we have to leave within twenty minutes." "Hurry!!!" she screamed.
Gina was sure in confusion but she couldn't ask any questions but just go with the flow, as she helped quickly too, and within some minutes they were done. "There is a basement under the stairs and in the next five minutes someone will be waiting for us there," she said dragging the luggages quickly. Gina was totally confused, "What on earth was happening."
Ximena gulped and swallowed hard as she read the message but still she couldn't ignore. It wasn't anything bad at all." Let's go face it."
Soon both of them were sitting opposite each other at a cafe eating cake and juice. "I just wanted us to hang out," kaylee said smiling brightly and then brought out her phone. She passed it to Ximena who wondered about what she wanted to shoe her.
"I ordered this gown and slipper for both of us," she said as ximena stared in shock.
"Why? I mean rea..lly?"
"I figured out we have not worn matching outfits since our friendship so, I want us to rock it to the next week party before our exams," she said with ximena beaming all over.
"Wow, thanks Kay," she said totally surprised. "And also, we can hang out too after exams, there are more parties to attend." For a moment Ximena felt sad, remembering the fact that they were moving but she wasn't going to break the news and ruin the good moment. She smiled and smiled again. Kaylee wasn't a bad girl after all.
"So, we are taking this train to no destination in mind now is that what you are saying?" Gina asked Kim gently in her ear as the curled beside each other eating chocolate and listening to soft music. Most of the people In the train were asleep or on their phones since it was night already. But there was too much anxiety in their teen minds, much curiosity.
"So your step dad is chasing after you and aunt?" "I mean why?, for what reason?" "They are divorced."
"Exactly, mum made her biggest life mistake by marrying him knowing fully well that he's in a mafia group." "Well love is blind I can say, he wanted to live with mum without me." "Considering the fact that he is a big mafia lord, he could do anything and since my mum couldn't bare losing me she left."
"He would stop at nothing to kidnap me and use me to threaten my mum to come back to him."
"OMG, that means our lives are in danger, he can get information at anytime and nab us," Gina shivered and panicked.
"He is totally obsessed with mum and that fears me." "He found us like six times now but mum's informant is always faster so, we can't buy a house now until he dies."
"And I really wish he does."
"Why didn't aunt tell my mum Gina asked totally worried."
"Well there is nothing she would do, except worry and thankfully he doesn't know they are related at all because they were just found out they were sisters."
"Since they grew apart with single parents and their names are not even on the family register together."
"What a messed up family," gina murmured. " I didn't even know any of this, when mum is always spending her time out. "How were we going to ever talk and have a close mum to daughter relationship and watch her tell me all this things," she hissed.
"Messed up indeed," kim said gulping her bottle of juice and then rubbing Gina right shoulder trying to tell her everything was going to be fine. "So, I think mum is picking us at the last station," she said again.
"It's going to be a long night, so let us sleep and forget our worries."
