Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 The Blood Cult Kidnappings

It has been weeks working on the fence and traps around the gym. I wasn't allowed to leave the building or even help around. So Jade did all the work with leading everyone with finding supplies and getting everything done. But

lately, James had been telling me that strange men had been walking around our home. Wearing cloaks of a blood-red color and held guns in their hands in full guard.

I didn't want that area here, but all I could do was plan and hope for the best. Knowing that Jade was planning on getting rid of them later today or tomorrow. But it didn't seem right. Ethan was sick with something and these people show up out of nowhere. I felt like they were going to attack any minute now, but what are we supposed to do. We didn't have much and the chances of us to make it out alive was low. But the plan of the city was a risk and we could get killed, but there was more chances of supplies there.

"Ace!" I called out.

"Yeah?" he said coming from the hall from the band room.

"Make sure that everyone has a weapon of some kind," I said with a worried look. "I have a bad feeling about today."

"I'll make sure that everyone has something." he sighed.

I didn't like the looks of today or even if there was a tomorrow. It felt wrong and felt like bad luck was on our side. Soon after a while, the sounds of voices came from outside, the sound of gun shots in the air. I didn't know what was going on, but footsteps came closer to my door. My gun was placed far away from me on the desk and all I had was my knife on my side, hidden behind my back.

Men in red were all I saw in a flash as I was drugged outside by my arms. Everyone was tied up or pointed at with a gun to stay in place. Ethan was on the ground as Ben tried to keep his fever down. I could tell that the one man in black was their so-called leader of this operation. Walking over to each one with a creepy look in his eyes, looking for something in the group. Stopping in front of Jade, Aron, Hayhay, and I, but I didn't like the look of this. He seemed very disappointed in me for what I was, but the others to him were what he was looking for.

"Who is the leader here!" he yelled as Jade looked at me. Telling myself to keep my mouth shut. But I wasn't the type to keep quiet.

"What hell you want to know that," I spat as he looked at me with a smile.

"What only take the strong for the Blood Church," he smiled.

"Better go to hell then," I smiled and pulled towards him.

"Such a mouth you got there," he replied, before telling one of his men to hit me with all he got. Jade sighed and told him that she was the leader, making that bastard happy. Pissed as I was I didn't want my best friend to go or anyone else in the matter. But soon after they took Jade, Aron, and Hayhay in chains, making them walk to their horses. But the man wasn't over yet as his grin wided with pure joy. He only left five men to take care of the mess and return home.

"Never thought Boss would leave a pretty lady like you," one said to me. "I know that we are running out of pretty young ladies like you."

"Better hope he's not dead yet," I snapped as he held my head. I have seen that the others were being placed in a line. We're about to get shot to death, but I wasn't going to let it happen. I looked down to see his gun in hand, but was I willing to risk it. It didn't take long for me to grab his gun and slamming my head into his nose. He was in pain, but it didn't kill him.

I turned to shoot one and then ran towards a car for cover. All I thought was one down and four to go as they fired back. Then went to shot another in the arm and kept going till I was out of ammo. I remembered that all I had was a knife and had to play smart with it to save the others. The chances of being hit while running was high, but in kickball, I would slide to avoid being hit. If this were to work and I could get another gun from this and end this match.

So on as I ran towards the last two guys. Sliding down low where shots missed only by luck. I didn't know what was happening, but it didn't last as blood came from a leg. Cutting arteries in the leg can cause major blood loss as I saw the man's eyes panic and died. I didn't take his gun as I started to stab his friend along with him. The feeling of blood lust, revenge, and being protective took over. The only one of them that was still alive was bleeding to death. He was lucky that I didn't do much, but only shot him in the leg.

A smile crept up my face. Knowing that we could get them back in a matter of days with him. Grabbing him by his head, making him look into my eyes.

"Some pretty little girl," I laughed as I saw fear within him.

"Bitch," he screamed at me.

"Might be," I smiled, "but where are they taking them?"

"Why would I tell you that!" he scoffed.

"I could let you die here very slowly," I replied and push against his wound.

"Our God will kill you where you stand," he muttered.

"A church then," I reply, "has to be very close too if you got here with horses."

"Bitch!" he yelled.

"You know that your boss will regret dealing with me." I smiled as I picked up a gun from the ground. "Because Karma is a bitch."

"You'll all die in the hands of my master," he replied as a smiled came crossed him face once more.

"Better hope there is a God," I replied, "Because no one messes with my family!"

Bang, was all we could hear as his body falls to the ground, cold and dead. Cults were one thing I hated and that was the same a people who gone to church. It was all the same to me. Bring in people to grow their thoughts and beliefs, but never thinking about yourself. I didn't have a place in both worlds, but I wasn't going to let my friends fall alone.

I looked over to see that everyone was okay, but now was time for me to bring Jade, Aron, and Hayhay back home. They were shaken by the thought of being killed, but Ace, James, Martin, and Colt stood there. They already knew what I was thinking.

"If your coming," I spoke out, "better have a good reason to."

"We can't leave our friends by themselves," James replied.

"I agreed with James," Ace sighed, "even though we knew one of them for a couple of weeks."

"I think that's a noble cause," I smiled, but knowing that this was going to take time to plan their escape. All we know is a church nearby with tons of guards with them. Their horses were left and was perfect for my plan.

"Hold on till we find you," I muttered to myself as I walked back in. To figure out where they were at and how we were going to break them out.
