Third Person Point of View:
Akalea and Lisa were pushed out of the office and they just giggled to each other knowing that they wanted alone time. "I'm going to head to the cafeteria. You coming?" Akalea asks and Lisa was thinking about it. "Sure. I'll let you see who my boyfriend is, too." Lisa says excited that soon she'll see him with her alive self.
Akalea nods and starts to move towards the cafeteria. Once she pushes the doors to the cafeteria, it was filled with noise and the aroma of food. It was a good thing no one notices that she's there. Akalea headed to the food area and picked her food. By now she's looking for a table to sit on as she keeps hearing the chatter of noise. But it was broken. "Akalea! Over here!" The cafeteria became silent and the attention was turned to her.
Akalea could see Marcus standing and waving his hand to where their table is. Akalea felt uncomfortable from all the attention. Akalea moved quickly towards their table and saw Bach elbow Marcus to which he grunted and sat back down. Akalea reached to their table and saw the Rankers and the two teachers. "Hi." Akalea says shyly and sat to the empty seat with no one beside the empty seat and she began to eat.
Lisa was sitting on the table looking around the cafeteria. "Hey." Everyone on the table greeted back and they resumed eating. The people around them started to go back to their usual chatter and noise. Shawn, Dawn, Newt and Josh could still see Lisa but did not say anything so as to not scare the others.
As they were eating, one of the rankers spoke up. "Hey, Akalea. You doing okay? I mean after all that in the chamber of the Crystal of Light earlier." Eve asks, worried. "Yeah, I'm okay. Though I don't know if what it showed was real that I'm a quadruple category." Akalea looks at her food, confused. "I mean it's impossible, right?" Akalea looks up and looks at them as she asks this.
"Not really impossible since you are one. Maybe it's because you're different. Maybe you're destined to break shit." Zachary says and jokes on the last one which everyone on the table laugh. "Yeah, I mean you had beaten both Dawn and Shawn which no one has ever done same with Emily. That girl is a battle freak." Dean says after he takes a spoonful of food.
Akalea saw that everyone on the table nods their heads, agreeing to what Dean says. "Maybe you really are different." Dawn says so quiet that no one heard him but Akalea. Akalea smiled a bit because of that. "But that white light though, what did it mean?" Alice asks which made everyone wonder as well. "I don't really know. Not even mr. and mrs. Barnes know about it either." Newt says.
"Well, either way, I'm sure it's not something bad. I can feel it." A hand plops down on Akalea's shoulder which made her jump. Everyone on the table saw who it was and Akalea looks up to see it was Kint along with his food. Kint sat next to Newt and began eating. "I hope so." Akalea says and continues to eat.
After a while of chatting and eating, everyone was done with their food and by the time they were finished, everyone begins to exit out of the cafeteria. "Aka! There he is. His name is Jero Ukania" Akalea saw Lisa pointing at a guy with a slouched back. His aura felt so sad. "Can you do the thing that mom did to the boys earlier? I mean like touch his forehead and let him feel the power of seeing and talking to ghosts." Lisa asks with puppy eyes and Akalea could not say no.
"You guys go first. I need to do something." Akalea says to the Rankers and the three teachers. They nodded and went away. "Hey, Jero! Wait up." Akalea jogs towards the guy, Jero, who was walking sluggishly. Jero turns around and saw that it was a person he didn't know. "How do you know my name? Are you that new student? Why are you talking to me? I have a girlfriend so please go away." Jero asks so many questions that Akalea didn't even explain herself and Jero tried to walk away.
"I think you misunderstood. I know that you have a girlfriend. She's here." Akalea says as she gets closer to Jero. Jero stopped in his tracks and turns around quickly. "I don't think it's funny to-" Jero was talking angrily as he turns but he didn't get to finish when Akalea unmasked a tiny bit of her power and touched Jero's forehead then lets go.
"What the fuck are you doing?!" Jero touches his forehead and looks at Akalea. He was about to yell at Akalea but when he saw the person who he missed so much. "Li-Lisa?! Is that you?" Jero says as he walks towards Lisa about to touch her but he just felt air. "What is this?" Jero tries to think logically but he laughed to himself. Of course, this is a world where powers are real. Jero face palms himself and looks at Akalea.
"Is this just like a hologram or what? Is it that I'm seeing ghosts now because you touched my forehead?" Jero starts to ask Akalea. "The last one seems correct. You can talk to each other and see each other. I'll go, now. Jero, Lisa, have fun." Akalea tells Jero and looks at Lisa as she says the last part. She turns to walk away to leave the two love birds. "Thank you Aka!" Lisa thanks and Akalea held her hand up like a salute.
It's a good thing that no one saw what happened cause they might think we were crazy. Akalea passed by the double doors leading to the field. Akalea jiggles with the doorknob of the doors and twists it. Oh, it opens. Akalea continues to open the door wide and closes it behind her. She walks towards the field, loving the air and the peacefulness. She then walks towards the forest to take just take a stroll.
Akalea made way to wherever she feels like going. Trying to take in the beautiful surroundings as she sees little and big creatures as she walks through. She felt so calm as she walks smiling while at it. But she suddenly felt danger.
An arrow was heard being shot. Akalea felt it coming to her left so she dodged it skillfully. She hid behind a big tree to cover herself. She lets go one percent of her power and she made a hologram of the surroundings which she can only see. She saw ten figures to where the arrow was shot at.
"Damn, I thought it was that guardian. It was just a girl. Let's find that guardian. Don't mind that girl." A male voice whispered to his companions but with Akalea's power of hearing things from afar heard it. "Wait, she might be a threat in the future, why should we leave her?" A female voice whispered back, cautiously and arrogantly. "Fine, take two companions with you to take her out. She dodged that arrow of yours too skillfully." The male voice accepts and a noise was heard which means the others left while three were still there.
Three figures came out of their hiding spot and walks towards the hiding spot of Akalea. The three figures had weapons with them, ready to kill. Akalea held her hands up and walks out of the cover of the tree. "Why are you doing this? I just came for a stroll and you guys just shot an arrow at me for no reason." Akalea says while her hands were still up. "Oh, we thought you were our target and my hand slipped. Oops." The female says sarcastically.
They were wearing all black and masks so they won't be identified. But to Akalea, that is just useless yet she didn't bother with finding out their identity. "Let me go. I won't tell a soul about this." Akalea reasons out so she can walk away and leave. The female shook her head and laughed arrogantly. "Tsk. Tsk. You won't tell a soul at all when you're dead." The female gave Akalea a look with a glint in her eyes.
"So you just kill for fun, huh? Killing innocents who were not involved at all?" Akalea asks and her heart, knowing she is a Protector, wants to take action to bring justice to those who fell victim to their cruel ways. "Well, yes and yes." The female shrugs her shoulders and chuckles. "You're next." The female made a move to pull her arrow back with her bow along with her companions did the same with theirs.
Akalea just stood there and shook her head. "You should let me leave or you'll be the one on the ground." Akalea warns which made the female laugh like a maniac. "Says the one who'll die by my arrow. Shoot!" The female yells and the three shot their arrow. Before the arrows could touch Akalea, Akalea held up a finger and used wind to slow down the arrows which stopped moving, floating in the air.
"What the?" The female and the other two began to panic at what Akalea did. "Shoot another one!" The female exclaims and they shot another three which Akalea stopped again. "I'll give you guys a count to three. If you are willing to work with me then I won't kill you but let you live a better life than this as you repent and repay for the things you've done. If not, then I'll bring justice to those who fell victim to your cruel ways and kill you as cruelly as you did to them."
Akalea looks at their eyes with the glint of her own. The three froze in their spot and began to panic like hell. "Why can't I move?!" The female screams trying to move so she could run away, since her power were speed and stealth. The three couldn't move since Akalea used wind to trap their bodies like they're being restrained. Akalea walks towards them, menacingly to scare them, with her finger still up while the floating arrows follows behind her. "Might as well kill us!" The female screams which made the two of her companions shake their heads wanting to talk.
"You shut up." Akalea made a motion using her other hand and the female could not talk anymore. She tried to yell but she couldn't. Akalea moved towards the two behind her. Akalea was thinking to herself as she walks towards the other two. I have to keep track on how many powers I used today since I have to use ten different ones each day. I used six different powers which are masking my powers and scent, changing my appearance, wind, the power to locate, the power to silence someone(take their voice away), the power to give a little bit of power which was given to Jero to let him see Lisa... Hmm, I guess that's the six. So I have four more chances to use other powers.
Akalea nods to herself as she talks to herself in her mind. The two companions thought she was thinking of killing them first so they kept shaking their heads and tried to voice something out but they can't. It's like their voice was taken. Akalea noticed them shaking their head so much that she immediately shakes her other hand along with her head. "No, no, no. Don't worry, I don't kill people without hearing their answers and reasons first." Akalea reassures them and they instantly relaxed.
"So what's your answers?" Akalea looks at both of them trying to talk but they couldn't. Akalea realizes that their voice was taken like she did to the female earlier. Akalea did a motion to erase/negate the power of silence that was put upon the two companions. The two, who were still trying to talk but couldn't, can now voice out. Seven. The two looked at each other and realized that they can finally talk. "Miss! We, both, will agree to your terms! Please take me and my sister in." One of the two spoke out and it was a male.
"You're not lying?" Akalea asks to make sure. "No." The male looks at Akalea in the eyes, determined. "Please, miss." A girl's voice spoke out and Akalea looks at her as well. She saw determination in the girl's eyes as well. Akalea could pinpoint whether a person is lying or not. She only saw the truth in their eyes. Akalea waved her other hand and the wind restricting the two, vanished.
The two siblings began to stretch because they were in an awkward position earlier. I used the power to erase/negate a power. There goes another use. Got three more for today. Akalea thinks to herself as she walks around to face the female who shot at her earlier. The two siblings were right behind Akalea as they, too, were facing the female in front of them, their eyes filled with hatred.
The female struggled and tried to talk but she couldn't. The female seemed so angry that her eyebrows were fused together looking like a unibrow. "Oh, you want to talk? Here let me give you a chance." Akalea erased the power to silence with a wave of her hand. "You traitors! You motherfuckers deserve to die and rot in hell!..." The female kept saying incoherent words that just irritated Akalea. "Is that your last words before you die?" Akalea asks and the female just smirked.
"My master will get revenge for me! You and your family will die a horrible deat-" The female didnt finished her threat as Akalea motioned the arrows to towards the female. The arrows punctured the body of the female as she gurgles out blood and agonizingly died in front of them. Akalea did not like to kill someone let alone hurt a person but it is something she has to do to protect others.
"Now, you two. Remove the masks, tell me your names, your backgrounds and your purpose of trying to find that guardian." Akalea turns to look at the two as they begin to remove their masks. The male is a hunk while the girl was a beauty. "Damn, if it weren't for joining those people who kills, you would have better futures." Akalea says truthfully which the siblings nervously laugh.
"I am Zeke and my sister's name is Zoey. We are orphans because we were kidnapped couple of years ago so we dont remember our last name. I have invisibility and another power that I don't know what it's called. Zoey has flight and explosion. We were raised to kill and we don't have a choice. The purpose was to find that guardian to take away the egg in it's possession and kill him. That was the information given to us." Zeke says and Akalea did not find a lie in what he said as she looked into his eyes.
"Okay, I believe you." Akalea says and held her hand up. Her palm facing upwards and with the power to locate, a holographic map was made. She could see seven figures moving and is closing in on another figure who was running away. Akalea could see that the figure that was being chased was about to arrive at a cliff with no where to run. "Okay, I know where the figure is headed so we need to be there to help the guardian, okay? I'll give you a temporary power."
Akalea touched the foreheads of Zeke and Zoey. The siblings felt sensations within their bodies. "Let's go. Follow me." Was all Akalea could say before she use the power of speed. They ran so fast towards the cliff. Eight. "Miss, the people who we were with are skilled and powerful. We have to be careful." Zoey warns and Akalea could just nod. "I'll handle them, don't worry." Akalea says as they arrive near the cliff as they hid behind a bush. They waited till they see the guardian who was running away. The guardian was wearing a cloak to cover his face and body.
Akalea suddenly felt a familiar tingle of warmth building in her body. The guardian was on the edge of the cliff, looking down at it seeing that it was a very deep fall with no chance of surviving. The guardian was panicking on what to do. The black clothed people finally emerged from the forest encaging the guardian.
"Well, well, well. I see the little guardian having no way of escaping. Hand over the egg and we'll leave. How's that?" The male voice Akalea heard earlier was stern. "No. You'll never get the egg over my dead body!" The guardian voices out and it was a male's voice. To Akalea, she felt that the guardian is in his 20s. "Well, then." The male made a motion with his hand which made the people behind him pull back an arrow from their bows.
What's with bows and arrows today? Akalea thinks to herself. "Stay here till I call you guys okay? If you escape, I can find you guys anywhere." Akalea says to the siblings and she turns her head slowly as she spoke the last sentence with a glint in her eyes. The siblings shiver in fright and they shook their heads reassuring that they won't.
Akalea nods and stood up getting the attention of the people in black. "Hold up! I got lost on my way back. Oops. Did I just stumble on something?" Akalea stumbles out of the bush with her hands up. She acts like she's oblivious of the bows and arrows aimed at a person. "Where'd you come from? I thought she was gotten rid off?" The male, who Akalea is guessing as the leader, was getting mad as he talks to his companions.
"Useless piece of shits. You, stand beside that person, now!" The leader says which Akalea obliged and stood next to the guardian. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Akalea whispers to the guardian who was surprised to be asked of that in that moment. "A bit hurt but I can still fight if you're planning to fight them together." The guardian says seeing the girl beside him as an ally who for some reason seems familiar yet unfamiliar at the same time.
"Don't worry. Let me handle this. Just relax and sit tight." Akalea whispers to the guardian who nods his head. "Enough chit-chat! Give me the egg or the girl beside you will die as well!" The leader threats as he looks at the cloaked guardian. "Why not we just kill the guardian and have fun with the girl first then kill her after we have our fun?" Another male voice was heard which disgusts Akalea. The male voice came from the person beside the leader.
"Whatever." The leader shrugs and made a wave with his hand. Three of the seven people in front of Akalea and the guardian went to take care of Akalea and the remaining four stayed in their position to shoot the guardian. "Be a good girl and let us take 'care' of you." The guy who said that gave Akalea a shiver of disgust.
The three people in black pounces at Akalea but Akalea lifts her finger up, using the wind to lock them up in the air just like what she did to the siblings earlier. The three people were stuck on air as they were struggling to move. "What the fuck!" The guy in the middle yell in rage. "Oh shut up." Akalea says and made a wave with her hand, taking away his voice.
The leader stood in shock to see his companions in the air. "Shoot her! Shoot her!" The leader says in a hurry. He must think I could be killed by weapons. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Akalea thinks to herself and shakes her head. A swoosh of arrows were fired towards Akalea and Akalea just held her finger up again stopping the arrows midway. She waves her finger and now the rest of them were stuck in their position.
"Oh shit. Let us go or our master will kill you!" The leader says threatening Akalea which Akalea ignored. "The other girl already used that threat to me and look where it got her." Akalea looks at the leader with the glint in her eyes. The leader shiver, for the first time in his life, he was frightened by just a mere look. "How? Who- What?!" The guardian was looking at Akalea then at the people in black who were unable to move and it continues back and forth.
"Well, you don't have to worry about that. Zeke! Zoey! Come out and take care of those." Akalea calls out and points at the people in black. Akalea was walking towards the guardian casually while the guardian was anxious but at the same time relaxed as he hugs the egg towards him even further. "Wait, what's your purpose of helping me? I'm not going to give you the egg if that's what you're after." The guardian steps back as he says this.
Dude, I just wanted to take a walk through this beautiful forest but was attacked and now I got myself involved with this mess because someone was in danger. Akalea thoughts too herself as she looks at the guardian. "I did not even know who you were until I was attacked by one of those earlier when I was taking a stroll. Got myself involved so might as well be involved till the end. Besides, a person, you, was in danger. Who would ignore that?" Akalea says that made the guardian believe her a little.
"Okay. I'm sorry." The guardian apologized and he relaxed his body but he suddenly felt pain on his stomach so he grunted, remembering he was shot with a poisoned arrow which he pulled off of his stomach earlier. "Are you hurt anywhere?" Akalea says as she saw that he grunted. The guardian nods and pushes his cloak aside and showed his bloody shirt.
"I got shot with a poisoned arrow. I think it's a deadly poison which is very hard to cure. Here, take the egg and please give it to a girl named Akale-" The guardian says while he gives the egg to Akalea. Akalea suddenly felt raw power from the moment she held the egg. It radiated something familiar from inside which instantly relaxes Akalea. Akalea then realizes she heard her name from his words but he didn't finish his sentence when he fell to the ground, grunting.
Akalea kneels down to his side, gently putting the egg beside her and removed the cloak from his body first. She saw the guardian is also very handsome. What the fuck is with these handsome guys coming out of nowhere?! There's already a lot in the academy and now here, too. Akalea thoughts to herself and snaps herself back so she could cure the guardian.
"Don't bother. I'll die anyway." The guardian says as he stares at the night sky, the stars twinkling. "You're not going to die on my watch, mr. Guardian." Akalea says firmly. She pulls his shirt up and saw a big hole on his stomach. Akalea puts her palm above the hole and used her healing power but it didn't seem to work as the guardian grunted in more pain. The heck is this poison?
Akalea swabs the blood, that is filled with the poison, on his stomach with her finger and put it in her mouth. The guardian saw this and reached for her arm but he couldn't reach. "What the fuck are you doing?!" The guardian exclaims, not believing what Akalea just did. "I'm tasting it, don't worry about it. I can tell what kind of poison this is by tasting it. Also I'm immune to poison." Akalea says which the guardian didn't believe as he blames himself for letting his savior die because of her tasting his blood.
Akalea could tell this kind of poison is very hard to cure and it won't be done by healing. This poison could even stop a person from using his/her powers. Akalea was thinking on what she's going to do about this and she needs the solution fast. Since my body is immune and would dispel any kind of harmful things like poison so my blood might help. I hope it works. I mean I'll be using my blood with Lisa soon. Akalea thinks to herself and hurriedly crawls to the guardians head.
"I'm going to do something and you have to cooperate, okay?" Akalea tells the guardian which the guardians nods, confused. Akalea lifts the guardian's head on her lap and calls for Zeke. "Zeke, do you have a dagger or a sharp object?" Akalea quickly asks because if she uses wind to make a dagger and use it to hurt herself, it won't work because her powers won't hurt her. "Yeah, here." Zeke ran to where Akalea was and handed her a dagger. "What are you going to-" The guardian didn't finish what he was going to ask when he saw Akalea slices her wrist as blood was slowly coming out.
"Hey! Sto-" The guardian was cut off when Akalea puts her bloodied wrist to his mouth. "Drink." Akalea looks at the guardian seriously which the guardian was caught off guard. He then, notices the little details of Akalea. Her eyes shining through the dark, her beauty caught him off guard as he suddenly tasted something sweet in his mouth.
His eyes widen. It's suppose to taste metallic or something but why is her blood sweet? The guardian began to suck Akalea's blood slowly and he begins to feel better. "I think you're okay, now. The hole seems to close by itself." So my blood can cure poison and have healing abilities as well? Damn, what the heck are you, Akalea Knight? Akalea thinks to herself and pulls her hand away from his mouth and she heals the cut on her wrist.
Once the hole was closed, the guardian felt much better. Akalea helps the guardian up and gave him a smile. "I'm glad it worked and that you're okay." Akalea says with a smile towards the guardian and the guardian was in for a surprise when he saw what she looked like under the moonlight. She looked magical to him. Her hair was flowing with the wind, the moonlight seems to make her glow, her eyes were pretty under the moon. To him, she looks like someone he knows and is familiar with but couldn't pinpoint who it is.
Akalea brushes her hair and realizes that her hair wasn't in a bun anymore which went with the flow of the wind. She picks up the egg and she notices that it was a golden looking egg with swirls around it. Hmm. Looks very important. The egg gave off a warmth in Akalea's arms which Akalea liked. She remembers the people in black and turns to look at them. "Wait here, mr. Guardian." Akalea says and left to go where Zeke and Zoey were tying the people in black.
While the guardian was left there, he was feeling his body was getting rid off of impurities which he felt much better. Who is she? The guardian wonders as he looks at her back trying to figure her out. Akalea walks up to the people who were tied. Akalea waves her hand and erased the power she casted on the leader.
"So I'm giving you all a chance. Either work for me or work with me to repent and live a better life than this or you go homes to your families and never do this again or I'll be throwing you off the cliff." Akalea points to the cliff. "Miss, the other people who didn't talk earlier are in the same situation as we were." Zeke whispers to Akalea's ear. Akalea nods and erases the power casted on the others. "I want to go home!" "I want to go home!" The others were crying as they say this except for two people who just glared at Akalea.
"Untie those who want to go home." Akalea orders and the siblings began to untie them. "Remove your masks. If you ever do something bad again, I'll come for you, okay?" Akalea warns them and they nod their heads. "You traitors! I hope you and your family or friends die soon." The leader barks out with so much hate. Akalea could not bear to see and hear more. "And you! I hope you-" Akalea made a slash motion with her hand filled with piercingly sharp wind and the head was cut off of the body. The leader's head as well his body fell to the ground with a thud.
Everyone witnessed this and became scared. "Now, go. Be safe, you lot." Akalea says looking at the people in black and they nod their heads then left. "You." Akalea points at the remaining person in black. "What did you say earlier about having fun?" Akalea went near to his face. Akalea was still holding the egg gently in her arms like it was a baby.
"No-nothing. I made a mistake. Forgive me!" The guy pushed himself to bow, his head touching the ground. Akalea could still feel malice in his voice but she ignores it to see what would happen next. "Untie him." Akalea says and turns away to walk towards the guardian. "But miss, he has raped and killed a lot of women before. We won't know if he'll do it again." Zoey argued as she stayed far away from the guy.
"Just do it." Akalea looks behind her to let Zeke see her nod. Zeke realized what Akalea was doing so he bent down and cuts the rope with the dagger from earlier. Without a second, the guy took the dagger from Zeke and lunged for Akalea. "Miss!" Zeke and Zoey were about to run to stop the guy. The guardian teleported behind the guy in black, taking the dagger and plunging it in the guy's throat.
"Argh!" The guy held his throat as he gargled out blood out of the mask. Everyone there witnessed him bleeding out and smacks down to the ground face first while Akalea watches the scenery from the cliff with the egg. "Miss, why'd you let him go? He was about to kill you." Zeke says concerned. "I knew he would. I just wanted to test the guardian and I'm satisfied." Akalea says as she turns to look at the guardian.
"Also don't call me miss. It makes me feel old." Akalea shivers from the horror. "My names Akalea Knight." The moment Akalea said her name the guardian looks at her with a shocked expression. "You're Akalea?!" The guardian asks as he points at her. "Uhm, yeah." Akalea says and she was startled when the guardian suddenly kneels down with his hand on his heart. "Princess!" The guardian greets.
"Wait, what?!"
