The five of them arrive in front of Akalea and Lisa's room when the door suddenly opens-
- revealing a smiling Lisa but the three can't see her so they jump back in fright. "What the fuck?! Who opened the door?!" Colton asks after jumping back, frightened. "You scaredy cats. Let's go inside. I'll introduce you guys to Lisa after we enter inside." Akalea says as she enters the room and stops to wait for the others to head in, too. After the three enters the room cautiously, Lisa closes the door behind them which made the three jump in fright again, Lisa and Akalea laughing.
Corey stirs in his sleep cause of Akalea's shaking due to laughing. Akalea stops and quickly walks to the bed to lay Corey on the bed. Akalea gently puts Corey on the bed and tucks him in. "Okay, everyone. This is Lisa." Akalea walks over to the three, touching each of their foreheads as she introduces them to a smiling Lisa who suddenly appeared in front of them. "Who?- Oh shit!" Zeke didn't get the time to relax as the three sees the sudden appearance of Lisa. "Lisa, this is Colton, Zeke and Zoey. They'll be staying with us till their rooms are finished. They are my companions and they can be trusted." Akalea says
"Hello! I'm Lisa Blackwood, nice to meet you all!" Lisa says with a smile and a wave to them as the three were watching her, confused. "Oh, I'm sorry about scaring you guys earlier with the door, I didn't expect Akalea to bring guests. I'm actually a ghost cause I had an unfortunate situation happened to me but I'll be living again soon so I'll be able to shake all of your hands till then." Lisa says, sweetly and brightly which the three slowly becomes less confused and cautious.
"On behalf of me and these two, we are sorry if we ever made you uncomfortable with our actions since we didn't know and now that we know, we thank you for sharing that to us even though we just met." Colton says and bows his head, apologetically. "It's no problem. I'm glad I can meet Akalea's companions." Lisa says and looks at Akalea with a smile. "Actually, they're recently my companions. I met these three last night while I was strolling through the forest..." Akalea explains the situation last night to Lisa and Lisa was shocked and understood after the explanation.
"It's fortunate that you guys met Akalea. She's really a good person, friend and a companion." Lisa says truthfully and Akalea blushed, her head fluttering from Lisa's words while the three and Lisa witnesses her blushing. Making them think of the same thing, 'Cute'. "Oh, right. Before I go somewhere, I'll make some beds for us four-" Akalea didn't finish her sentence when the door was being knocked on. Akalea went to the door, opening it and revealing the two brothers with worried looks. "Are you okay? When did you came back? Are you hurt anywh-" Shawn says as he and Dawn inspects Akalea but stopped when they noticed the three unfamiliar faces in her room, especially the two guys standing in her room.
"Who are yo-" Dawn coldly looks at the two guys, ignoring Zoey, and asked but Akalea puts a finger to his lips, stopping him. Akalea pulls the brothers inside quickly and closes the door behind them. "I was going to introduce you guys tomorrow but you guys are here so why not now. This is Colton, Zeke and Zoey. I met them last night...." Akalea begins to explain to the two brothers and the brothers look at the unfamiliar faces, slowly nodding. "I'm sorry for what we did. We were just cautious since you're unfamiliar and you're in Akalea's and Lisa's room." Shawn apologizes and the brothers bow their heads, apologizing.
"Okay, there is one more I need to introduce to you guys-" Akalea didn't get to finish when they heard a groan and ruffling on the bed. Corey getting up due to the talking and looks at the people in front of him, some familiar and some not. "This is Corey. He's a-" "A demon!" Shawn shouts and the brothers went into offense mode, their swords materializing in their hands. Before the brothers could do anything, Akalea smacks their head earning an "Ow!" form them. "Let me finish and please lose the swords." Akalea says sternly, looking at the two who listens to her while rubbing their heads.
"His name is Corey. He's a human-demon who I met earlier....." Akalea explains Corey's situation to everyone since they didn't know and they start to understand Corey's situation, looking at him with a sad look. "He may be a human and a demon but he still experiences what we experience. We shouldn't discriminate him because of that. I feel like he's a good guy and I'm planning on making him my companion." Akalea says which everyone in the room snaps their head from the last sentence. "What if he-" "Don't worry, I'll handle it when something happens." Akalea says with a determined look and a smile towards everyone.
While everyone was looking at her and slowly nodding, Corey was there witnessing everything. Corey felt a bit of happiness from what Akalea said and did for him. Corey couldn't help but let the tears in his eyes fall from that little happiness. She did that for me even if I'm a human and a demon. I'll repay her no matter what even if I have to give my life to her. Corey thinks to himself as he cries. Everyone else heard Corey's cries, turning their heads towards him and sees him crying. Akalea walks over to Corey and rubs his back.
"What's wrong?" Akalea asks and checks to see if he was hurt or anything. Corey shakes his head and wipes his tears. "Nothing. I'm just happy because for the first time in my life, someone defended me and wants me to be a companion. Nobody ever did that to me until you came so I'm really thankful." Corey says, his tears still coming out. Zoey and Lisa were already crying from Corey words as Zeke was holding them back, Dawn and Shawn were looking away holding theirs back and Colton just downright cried like a kid. Akalea just smiles at Corey, her heart becoming warm from his words.
Noting that they just met but Akalea's kindness made Corey happy and thankful. "Oh, yeah. Corey?" Akalea calls out to Corey after remembering something. "We'll have to go to the palace tomorrow with the headmaster and his wife. We'll have to explain your situation and plan from there. They might ask you some questions so can you please answer them truthfully?" Akalea says and asks Corey who nods his head, agreeing to go. "Okay, do you want anything to eat? I'll bring some food after I come back from my business." Akalea asks and says. Business meaning she'll go to Clara and tell her that the training will move to tomorrow due to the recent events earlier.
"Okay." Corey softly says and looks at everyone else. "I would also like to thank you all for understanding my situation even though I know us demons have been causing havoc in the Middle Realm and you hate us for that. I don't know what's happening outside our palace nor outside our realm but I'll say sorry on behalf of demons like me who never wanted to hurt anyone in the first place." Corey says and bows his head as he apologizes.
"We're sorry, too. For taking action before knowing you and your situation first." Everyone but Akalea says as they apologize to Corey who looks up and shakes his head and his hands, didn't expect for them to apologize to him. "No, no. You don't ha-" Corey was cut off when he saw their smiles at him. For the first time again, I see people smiling at me with no ill-intentions but just smiles. Corey says and hangs his head, not knowing what to say next.
"By the way, why didn't we know about you having more than one power?" Shawn asks and Akalea went rigid from the question while everyone else were looking elsewhere, Lisa knowing everything, Colton knowing her background and a few of her powers, Zeke, Zoey, the two brothers knowing bits and pieces while Corey was just there, confused on the bed. "I'll, uhm, explain everything... Uhm..... Next time... Oh, my. It's this late? You two should go back to your rooms. We'll be preparing for tonight as well." Akalea stands up and gently pushes Shawn and Dawn out of her and Lisa's room.
Dawn and Shawn blocks themselves from going out by holding onto the door and its sides. "What do you mean? They'll all sleep in your room?" Dawn asks, Akalea stops trying to get them out and puts her hands on her waits, tired. "Yeah." Akalea says which Dawn and Shawn look at each other as if thinking of the same thing. "Corey, Colton and Zeke can sleep in my room while I sleep in my brother's." Shawn suggests and Dawn nods his head, because he would not like anyone in his room. "Okay, but Corey will sleep here with me, Lisa and Zoey. I have to watch over Corey." Akalea says and the brothers can't argue with her on that.
"Okay, fine." The brothers say even though they didn't like it that a guy is staying the room with them. "I'll show you guys my room, then we can go head to the cafeteria to eat. Zoey, you can come with us. I'm guessing you all didn't get to eat dinner, yet." Shawn says which the three nod their heads, realizing that they haven't so the three of them follows them out. "See you later." Colton, Zoey and Zeke say at the same time before leaving. Akalea turns to look at Corey. "I'll be back with food, okay? Don't wander around because the people here might... not... you know. Be understanding like us so I would like it if you stay here in the meantime."
Corey nods his head, listening to Akalea as he sees her and Lisa going out. Corey was wondering why he could see a girl beside Akalea, hovering over air as she walks out with her. Corey shrugs his shoulders, doesn't care to know as he just wants to listen to Akalea. Corey went back to laying down on the bed and begins to think about things and what he's going to do next. "I'll just go with the flow while I repay her back." Corey softly says as he looks at the wall, then realizes something and laughs a little. "I don't even know her name."
Meanwhile, Akalea and Lisa were walking together towards Clara's room after seeing that it was passed 9pm. The two of them arrives in front of Clara's room and Akalea knocks on the door. Akalea already informed Lisa of who Clara was and how she met her. The door opens up a little and both Akalea and Lisa see half of a face pop out of the door's openness. "It's me, Akalea." Akalea says and Clara's eyes widen, immediately opening her door to let Akalea inside. Once Akalea and Lisa got in, Clara closed the door behind her.
"I'm sorry that the training earlier didn't happen due to the recent events. I mean, I don't know if you're up for the trainings." Akalea starts and Clara shakes her head as well as her hands. "No, no. Don't be. Uhm, actually I've been thinking a lot after you left and I have decided. I'll do the trainings." Clara says looking at Akalea with a determined look. "Are you sure? What was the reason why you decided on that?" Akalea asks and Clara looks down. "I mean, I get why you wanted me to do the trainings and why I should be the one to fight the 1st Ranker myself. I also get that you're doing this for me to improve and be confident in myself, to trust myself. I thank you for that and I'm happy to say that I would like to improve myself with the trainings so I hope you'll accept me as your student."
Clara says and bows her head at the end. Akalea was shocked at what Clara said at the end. "What made you think that I'm the one training you?" Akalea asks and Clara looks up. "Because you're the only one who helped me that time and I'm sure hoping that you're also the one to help me with my trainings as well." Clara says with a smile and Akalea could not hold her chuckle that went out of her lips. "You're right. We'll start training tomorrow after I'm done with my business. I'll come by your room by then." Akalea says and Clara nods her head. "I'll be ready when you come by!" Clara says, as if she's already a knight serving. Akalea waves goodbye to her and heads out of the room, walking towards the cafeteria.
Akalea was walking while thinking of where they'll be training at since she's thinking the field will be off limits due to the recent events. She felt a hand on her shoulder, stopping her from walking and bringing her out of her thoughts. "Ms. Akalea!" Akalea turns to look and sees Newt's hand on her shoulder as Kint and Josh behind him, waving at Akalea. "Oh, hello instructors." Akalea greets the three who shrugs off the name intructors. "You can call us by our names when its just us." Josh says with a smile. "What do you guys need?" Akalea asks since they called out to her. "We were just wondering if you were okay after coming back." Newt explains and Akalea could see a hint of pink in Newt's cheeks while Josh and Kint tries to fight back their snickers.
"Oh, I'm alright. I'm heading to the cafeteria to eat. You guys want to come along? I want to introduce you guys to some people." Akalea says with a smile which the three nods their heads. "We were heading there as well. Let's go." Kint says and they begin to walk side by side towards the cafeteria. Once they enter the cafeteria, they could only few people inside eating. Akalea and the three of them walk towards the food area and happens to see a hand waving at them, Shawn's hand.
Akalea and the three with her went to the table and sat beside each other. "Hey." Everyone greeted each other. The ones already there continues to eat while the ones who just arrived, started to eat. "By the way, this is Colton, he will be the new instructor and these two are Zeke and Zoey, they'll be two new students. They're my companions." Akalea introduces the three instructors to the three new people. "These guys are also instructors here in the academy. This is Kint, Josh and Newt." Akalea introduces the three companions to the three instructors.
"Nice to meet you." Colton says with a nod. Zeke and Zoey did their nods as well, not talking since they had food in their mouths. After knowing each other, they talk and eat all the while they're in the cafeteria. By the time they finished, Akalea grabbed a new batch of food for Corey. "I'll be going first! See you all tomorrow!" Akalea says as she leaves with Lisa beside her. Akalea wondered where Lisa went earlier when the instructors met her before arriving at the cafeteria but she shrugs it off with the thought of 'Maybe she went to go see Jero'.
Akalea and Lisa made their way back to their room and enters, turning the lights on. "Corey, I'm back." Akalea says gently and Corey sits up, rubbing his eyes. "Hi." Corey softly says and Akalea smiles. "Here you go, you must be hungry. I don't know what you'd like so I brought each of the different food there." Akalea says and Corey sees the tray filled to the brim. "Thank you." Corey softly thanks Akalea and he takes the tray, beginning to eat.
"Corey? Can I know how old you are? I mean it's my first time seeing a human-demon like person like you so I'm kinda curious about you." Akalea says with curiosity behind her eyes and Corey can see it. "Well, for all I know I'm 120 years old. I'm the son of the Dark King in the Nether Realm. I don't really know much of my family and its history cause I've never been let out of my room that much till today. I guess I'm the outcast of the family because my older sister can go out whenever she wants." Corey says, feeling sad now that he realized how long he's been alone as he eats. Akalea felt sad after hearing him talking.
"Well, you don't have to worry about that, I guess. You'll be with me and my other companions so you should be okay. Also, I can train you if you want. Be it powers or your ability to fight." Akalea says, her eyes twinkling at the mention of training and Corey looks at her with a little smile, taking another spoonful of food. "I haven't really trained so I was powerless when I faced you. There were times I had to fight to survive, I felt that I was strong cause I easily defeated them but it seems I was wrong. I really need to get stronger so I can repay you and ma-may-maybe p-pro-protect y-you." Corey says and stutters at the end which made Akalea chuckle at him.
"You don't have to repay me. I'm fine with you being okay and becoming strong so in case there'll be opponents that you'll face in the future, you will be able to face them with confidence. Okay?" Akalea says with a smile and Corey looks at her, his heart warming up from her words. "How a-about you? I haven't gotten your n-name yet nor do I know anything about you." Corey stutters a bit but Akalea understood. "Sorry about that. I'm Akalea and I'm 18 years old. I'm.... I guess you could say..." Akalea trails off and begins to put a concealment barrier in the room so no one can hear her. "I'm the king's brother's daughter but don't tell anyone about that cause I'm trying to keep my identity a secret, and my mother.... I don't really know, yet." Akalea says and shrugs her shoulders at the end. Corey could see her shrugging after the last sentence about her mother, feeling bad.
"By the way, after going to the palace tomorrow, we'll start our training once I find a suitable place to train." Akalea says, brightens up by the mention of training and Corey nods his head, laughing a bit at Akalea's actions and quick changing of her expressions. "Okay." Corey says and Akalea puts up a finger, her face looking like she just remembered something. "Since you have like a human-demon like appearance, can you switch to human or to demon appearance?" Akalea asks and Corey nods his head. Transforming isn't a power for him and his family as it is inherited and already there.
Corey finishes eating, putting the tray aside and breathes slowly. His appearance changing to his human form, losing the horns, tail and his eyes becoming brownish color. "How long can you stay in this form?" Akalea asks, curious. "However long I want." Corey says and Akalea nods her head. "I'll be training you in both your human, human and demon, and your demon forms so you can know how to utilize your ability and your powers if you're in one of those forms. So rest up because we have a long day tomorrow." Akalea says with a smile and Corey nods his head. "Thank you for the meal a-and thank y-you for be-being k-kind to me, A-Aka-Akalea." Corey stutters as he says thanks plus her name for the first time and tucks himself in, embarrassed as Akalea chuckles at him and puts down the barrier.
Akalea then hears the door being knocked so she walks towards the door, opening it. "Hey." Akalea greets as she lets Zoey inside. Lisa was just laying down on her bed beside Corey as she watches. "Okay, let's make some beds for us." Akalea says and used the power of creation to make two single beds, the right size for Akalea and Zoey. Zoey's eyes widen, seeing the sudden appearance of two bed sin front of her. "Wow!" Zoey claps excitingly and Akalea chuckles at her cute reaction. "Let's rest up. After me and Corey come back from the palace, I'll be training him and a friend of mine. So I would like you to tell Zeke that I'll be training you guys as well so be ready by that time. Tell Colton he can come if he wants." Akalea says and Zoey nods her head, excited.
"You can use the clothes in the closet if you want. We should change." Akalea says and Zoey nods. The two females changing in the bathroom since Corey was in the room. Once they changed, everyone gets ready to sleep although Corey is already on the bed. "Good night, everyone." "Goodnight, Akalea!" "Go-Good ni-night." After everyone bidding each other a good night, they slept the night away.
The next day... February 1, 2017..... A Wednesday...
Akalea woke up from the sound of the bathroom being used. Akalea rubs her eyes as she sits up from her bed. Akalea looks behind her and sees Zoey and Lisa still sleeping while Corey was gone, then looks at the window. Seeing that the sun just came up so she closes her eyes and breathes slowly. She then hears the bathroom door opening and sees a half naked Corey with wet hair and body with a towel around his hips, hiding his lower body. Akalea could see that Corey's body was okay and just needs more food in him and training. Akalea smiles at the word training. She's crazy for training.
"Aka-Akalea! I di-didn't kn-know you're a-awake." Corey finds Akalea awake and looking at him as he covers his body, embarrassed. Akalea chuckles at Corey and covers her eyes. "I think the closet might have men's clothes so try looking there." Akalea says and Corey hurriedly walks to the closet to pick out some clothes. The closet the instantly showed a set of clothes for men and the right size for Corey. Corey was confused but took them anyway. Akalea may have altered the closet with her creation power, making the closet spit out the right clothes needed for the wearer which was quite handy.
Akalea could hear clothes ruffling and feet shuffling then hears something falling with an oof. Corey fell from sliding on his jogging pants due to hurrying up. "Are you alright?" Akalea asks and Corey stood up immediately. "I'm o-okay." Corey says while wearing the jogging pants and the rest of his clothes. "You can look now." Corey says and Akalea uncovers her eyes, seeing the clothed Corey with his still wet hair. "Come here." Akalea says as she stood up, Corey slowly walking towards her. Akale held her hands up towards his hair once he was near, using wind to dry his hair plus styling his hair at the same time.
"There." Akalea says as she finished styling and drying his hair as Corey just watched her the whole time she was doing his hair. "Th-Thank y-you." Corey says and looks away, his cheeks tinted. "Good morning." Lisa says as she sits up, waking up. Corey quickly walks towards the bed and sits on it, his body stiff. "Good morning, Lisa." Akalea greets back with a smile as she walks to the closet to find a set of clothes, opening it and sees already a set of clothes which made her smile. She takes the clothes and a towel, walking to the bathroom afterwards. She does her business and comes out with her hair up in the towel and her clothed body.
Akalea wearing a set of undies which the bra is always a sports bra, another black stretchy leather leggings, and grey long sleeved shirt with some socks. Akalea walks to the bed and takes her towel down, drying hair. Once her hair was dried, she wakes Zoey up so she can get ready. Zoey wakes up from Akalea shaking her shoulders, yawning as she sits up. "Good morning." Zoey says as she rubs her eyes and Akalea smiles at her. "We'll wait for you so we can go to the cafeteria together." Akalea says and Zoey nods her head, moving more quicklly not wanting for them to wait for long.
Once Zoey was done, dried and clothed the four of them, Akalea, Zoey, Lisa and Corey, head towards Shawn's room where Colton and Zeke were in. Akalea was about to knock when the door opens, revealing a ready Colton and Zeke who were about go to Dawn's room. "Good morning!" Akalea greets with a smile and the two guys greet her and everyone a good morning. They then head towards Dawn's room and sees the door opening, out came a ready Dawn and Shawn. "Good morning!" Akalea greets them as the brothers greeted everyone.
They all head towards the stairs, descending the stairs and head towards the cafeteria. Akalea sees that there weren't that much people out and looks at the big clock in the center of the academy, seeing it was 6:15 in the morning. The students were either still sleeping or are somewhere in the academy. Akalea and the rest arrived at the cafeteria where there weren't much people like last night so they get their food and easily found a table to eat on.
As they all sit on the table, Akalea being in between Dawn and Shawn, they begin to eat their food. "I just noticed but Corey lost his horns and tail." Colton says before taking a spoonful of food in his mouth. "Oh yeah, I asked if he could change into his human form and here he is." Akalea says and Corey nods his head, meaning that it happened. The others nod at that and continues to eat. "Oh, by the way, what will you do after coming back from the palace?" Colton asks and Akalea looks at him, chewing on her food. "Well-" Akalea was cut of but an excited Zoey. "She'll be training me, Zeke and Corey." Zoey says with a smile and everyone in the table except Zoey and Corey look at Akalea with curious eyes. "And a friend of mine." Akalea says which indicates what Zoey said was true.
"Can we come?" A voice was heard behind them, seeing the other Rankers behind them, hearing everything that was said. "We would love to be trained by you, Akalea." Amy says as the rest of the Rankers takes their seats in the table. Good thing the table was big enough. "Oh, sure." Akalea says and sees the Ranker's high fiving each other, looking excited and Akalea smiles at this. Akalea couldn't see Emily with the Rankers or anywhere in the academy so she just shrugged her shoulders, not minding and caring. "Can we come, too?" Dawn and Shawn asks as the same time and Akalea nods her head. "The more the merrier. Also, I don't know if what I teach will make you improve by a lot or not. A heads up also, my training will be much harder than the training classes here." Akalea says before taking a spoonful of her food as everyone in the table looks at her, shocked and a bit scared.
Akalea looks at them and laughs. "Don't worry. I know you guys can handle it." Akalea says as she takes another spoonful. "Did I hear training?" A voice was heard again behind Akalea and everyone turn their heads to the voice, seeing Newt, Josh and Kint. The three sits on the table as everyone looks at them. "Mind if we join as well?" Josh asks eating his bread while looking at Akalea. "Sure!" Akalea says and smiles at the three. The three instructors smiles at Akalea and starts to eat their food. "Who's this new kid? I haven't met him before." Kint says which made everyone else but the three instructors go rigid. "I'll introduce him after breakfast. I want to ask though if there's a place where we can train and is off limits to both students and instructors-"
Akalea was cut off by a voice behind her again. Akalea and the rest looks to see Luke and Liliana standing behind Akalea with a smile towards everyone. "There is one." Luke says and this caught Akalea's attention as she quickly turns around. "You can use the arena of the academy. No one goes there that much and its off limits unless there are duels or students challenging other students." Luke says with a smile and looks at Akalea as he says this. "I'll show you the way after everyone eats their breakfasts. I'll wait here." Luke says as he and Liliana sit on a table next to theirs where there were also two trays of food on them.
Luke and Liliana eating their food together so Akalea and the rest on their table continues to eat especially the Rankers and instructors who just came. They didn't want the headmaster to wait for them so carefully and quickly ate their food. Once everyone was done eating, they were now all heading towards the arena of the academy which was on the far right side of the academy where it has its own building. Luke stands in front of the huge double wooden doors and puts his hand on it. Luke closes his eyes and the silence took like a minute before Luke puts his hand down, opening his eyes.
"Okay, I altered the double doors and set it as Akalea being the new co-master of the arena. Akalea will be the one to decide who can and who can't get in the arena." Luke starts then looks at Akalea. "You can either say their name and right after it is 'can enter the arena' or 'cant enter the arena'. You can try it now." Luke says as he steps back from the double doors which made everyone else step back. "Corey, Colton, Zoey, Zeke, Clara, Shawn, Dawn...." Akalea says everyone's names. "... can enter the arena." The double door shines in a white light before it opens up slowly as everyone was watching the whole thing. "Welcome master." The double doors say after opening up and everyone was spooked by the sudden voice coming out.
"Its okay, its just the voice of the double door greeting the masters whenever they enter the arena." Luke says as he and Liliana, hand in hand, walk inside the arena as the rest follow behind them. The arena was humongous with so much space. Akalea, Corey, Zoey, Zeke and Colton were amazed by the size and space of the arena. Inside the spacious arena were bleachers up top surrounding the space in the middle where fights happen. There were big open doorways leading to waiting rooms. There were also an area where there were weapons placed in an orderly fashion in a corner. "This is awesome!" Akalea exclaims in excitement and in awe at the arena.
Everyone looks at her, feeling excited and happy as well. "Can I request something, headmaster?" Akalea asks and Luke looks at her with a smile then a nod. "Can I ask for a kitchen set and a fridge in that corner next to the weapons?" Akalea asks and everyone looks at her, wondering why she would need a kitchen set. "Uh, sure? Why, Ms. Akalea?" Luke asks and everyone else were watching her, curious of her answer. "Because after every training, there should be delicious food in the end. This will give them strength to continue in their training if there's delicious meals after every training. Because after every hardship, there should be something waiting in the end even if its little." Akalea says and Liliana looks at her with a smile then laughs, loving her choice of words.
"I'll get you that kitchen but only if you can cook me some meals whenever I come by your trainings." Liliana says and Akalea nods her head, accepting right away. "That's the spirit! I'll ask someone to have your kitchen set up by the time you come back." Liliana says which Luke nods at what Liliana says. Everyone else watching were looking forwards to the meals with a happy and delighted looks until they realized the choice of words Akalea said. The word hardship hit them hard and their happy and delighted looks turn a bit grim even Dawn who was a maniac for training and improving was looking a bit grim.
Akalea was oblivious to this as her back was facing them while Luke and Liliana chuckle to themselves seeing the rest with grim looks. "Alright, now that you all know where the arena is at, I shall take Akalea and Corey with me and Liliana, now." Luke says and Akalea nods as she grabs Corey's hand, giving it a squeeze to reassure him that everything will be fine. Dawn, Shawn, Newt, Josh and Troy sees Akalea holding his hand and this made their heart churn a little bit, wanting their hand to be hold by her, too. "Let's go, Corey!" Akalea says excitingly and Corey nods his head.
"I'll introduce you three to Corey, later. See you!" Akalea says to Newt, Josh and Kint as Luke and Liliana leads her and Corey out of the arena. When the four figures disappeared from their sight, everyone inside the arena were looking at each other, not knowing what to do next. "Wanna train till they get back?" Shawn asks and everyone nods their heads, getting themselves ready.
Luke and Liliana leads the way as Akalea and Corey were trailing behind them. "What will we use for transportation in going there?" Akalea asks, wondering if they'll go by Luke's hydra or horse or something else. "We'll go there using a portal to the Kingdom." Luke says as he and Liliana continue to lead the way towards the chamber with the teleportation portal that is linked with the Kingdom's portal. As they arrive at the chambers, they head inside and both, Akalea and Corey, were met will a lot of teleportation portals with each of their own knight protecting them. Each heading to different places and what caught Akalea's eye were the five big teleportation portals which had labels on top of them. Each portal was linked to the 5 Kingdoms including Abernathy Kingdom.
"It may feel weird but you'll get used to it soon. Follow right after us, okay?" Luke says which Akalea and Corey nod their heads. Luke and Liliana went inside the portal first and in went Akalea and Corey. Once Akalea and Corey entered the portal, they see swirly colors of lights and after a second there, they got out of the portal. Their eyes widen at the beauty and the sight they see in front of them. Beautiful buildings, the plants, trees, colors, the humongous palace and the peacefulness in the air. "Welcome to Abernathy Kingdom, Mr. and Mrs. Blackwood, Ms. Knight and Mr. Corey. We have been expecting you." Akalea hears a voice in front of them and sees a butler with knights beside him.
"Please follow me to the office of the King." The butler, who looks like he's in his early 50's, says as Luke, Liliana, Akalea and Corey follow him as the knights surround them to protect them. After minutes of walking, they arrive in front of gold double doors which looked amazing. Akalea had her mouth agape from the beauty and at the gold, wondering why would they use precious gold as a door. "They are here, my king." The butler says after knocking on the double doors, announcing the arrival of Akalea and the others. "Come in." A voice was heard and the butler opens the door for them to enter.
Luke and Liliana went ahead so Akalea and Corey can follow suit. As everyone was inside, Akalea and Corey were mesmerized by the grand office of the king, having a lot of space, bookshelves, a balcony, tables and chairs, couches and coffee tables and more as most of them were made with precious gold. Then, the king made a motion with his hand and the butler closes the door behind him after entering the office, the knights keeping watch outside the doors. Luke and Liliana steps aside so Akalea and Corey can see who the king is. Akalea's eyes widen once she sees the king. We have the same eyes. Akalea thinks to herself and when a sudden movement was seen in her peripheral vision, she now notices her father walking in the room from a secret passageway. Akalea could not stop her tears from falling and could not stop herself from running to her father. Her father sees his daughter running to him with tears in her eyes made him tear up as well, opening his arms to take her in.
They arrive in each others arms, hugging each other dearly and missing each other. "Fa-Father." Akalea's voice cracked from speaking the word as her father's heart breaks from hearing her broken voice. "I kept wondering how you were because you were sick. I was so worried about you." Akalea says as she cries in his arms, her father holding her tighter. "I'm sorry for making you worry, my baby. I'm alright, now. See? Look at me." Her father says and pushes her away a bit to let her look at him, to see that he's fine now. Akalea wipes her tears and looks at her father.
The color on his face returned and he looks like he was filled with life than before, she can even feel that his strength has multiplied by a lot compared to before. Akalea cries more and her father hugs her again, letting her cry it all out knowing that she might have suffered a bit due to the sudden disappearance. The king looks at his brother and his niece, wondering when he could feel the same way. His eyes held sadness as he wasn't able to get married, have kids nor have a relationship due to always being busy. He always wondered what a hug from his own child would feel. He looks at his brother and his niece with envy but he was happy nonetheless because they're safe and here in front of him.
After waiting for Akalea and Sir Akane, her father, to finish crying, Akalea finally stops crying as she wipes them away and pulls away from her father's hug gently. She stood straight and turns to look at the king, who was also her uncle. "I'm sorry for the behavior that I have shown you, uncle- I mean, my king." Akalea bows her head from the embarrassment from calling the king her uncle. The king's eyes widen from Akalea calling him uncle which made him smile even though she corrected herself right after. He could feel Akalea's warm heart from just her words.
"It's alright. You can call me uncle whenever you want because you're my family. I'm just happy that you and your father are back home." The king says with a smile towards Akalea who looks up from her bow to see him smiling at her. Akalea stood up slowly as she nervously laughs.
"Alright! Shall we start this meeting?"
