December 31, 2016..... A Saturday...
Haneul's POV:
Beep! Beep! Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!
A ringing noise from my alarm clock woke me up from my deep slumber. "Ahh." I sit up and yawned stretching my body as I do so. I look around, looking at my messy room. I checked my phone and scrolled through social media. I saw that posts of Taecyeon's birthday which was three days ago. He's 29 years old, now.
I sigh as I remembered that I wished him a happy birthday three days ago while I prayed. Wishing after praying that we would meet in the future. Ah, my bias in 2pm. I sigh again as I put my phone down and eomma starts to yell for me. "Haneul-ah! Breakfast!!" I smile and stood up from my bed. I felt a little dizzy from getting up directly.
I made my way down, smelling the deliciousness of food. I arrived at the dining table and saw various of food. BACON, eggs, hot dogs, kimchi, bowls of rice and sauces. I made my way to the table and started to eat.
"Haneul-ah slow down. We dont want you to throw up on your auditions, now do we?" Eomma suddenly came out from behind me and I choked on my food. I gulped all of it down with water and realized what she just said.
"How did you know, eomma?" I asked her gulping down my saliva. I was going to tell her later but I guess someone beat me to it. "Reya told me." Eomma simply say and I face palmed myself inside.
Of course, it was Rey. "Okay, eomma. I gotta finish before Rey arrives." I told eomma and started to eat again. I finished after a few minutes and washed my plates. I got a bowl, filling with dog food as I call my little bundle of joy. "Minky-ahh! Breakfast!"
The little fur ball came running towards me with her cute little paws. I put down the bowl of dog food and got up to get a bowl of water too. I heard the doorbell ringing, thinking it was Rey as I set the bowl down and rubbed Minky's head. I ran to the front door and was greeted with a very beautiful looking Rey.
"Hey Han!" Rey greeted as I greeted her back. "Hey Rey! You're here earlier than I expected." I said and she shrugs her shoulders. "I'm just a little nervous about the auditions so I came early." She explained and I nod at her.
I let her in as I gaze at what she's wearing. White crop-top, white shorts, white shoes and a black leather jacket. Her black hair with dark blue streaks down in its naturally straight form. She turns around and I just looked at her with awe. That my people, is my best friend, Lee Reya.
"Han, you better hurry up we only got..." Rey looks at her phone and looks back at me and said, "45 minutes left. So, scoot your little cute butt up your room and get ready." She pushes me to the stairs.
I then ran to my room and got ready to shower. I walk to my bathroom and twist the shower on as I remove my pajamas from last night. I threw it on the wash bin as I quickly went in the shower. Cleaning and rubbing every ounce in my body ridding off the dirt.
I got out of the shower and out the bathroom. In the month of December it should be winter but it just started. I start to feel the cold but it wasn't that cold. Walking to my closet, I took out my black long sleeve shirt, black shorts and black and white Vans.
I took my black leather jacket and wore it while combing my long wavy black hair. I looked at the mirror and smile at my outfit. I ran down the stairs hearing laughter. "I'm ready!" I yell as I'm still on the stairs as Rey looks at me.
"Damn Han, you look too hot for me." Rey did a dramatic gasp and pretended to fall. I twirl around as eomma laughed at how silly we were. "Now, go you two!" Eomma pushed us out the door and we just chuckle at her. I haven't seen appa, yet.
I guess he got to work early. We walk away from the mansion-like house. My eomma's and appa's business was booming in Korea and in other countries as well. Eomma's fashion business, Seon Fashion, and Appa's modelling business, Seon Mode, was what gave us the life we are living now. But I dont let that 'rich people' thoughts get to me.
I am just a simple girl. Except I'm the girl with powers and can sing higher notes, rap, dance well, can fight but I'm overly nice in total. I look at Rey and admired how flawless she looks. Rey is like me. Her parents' business are also booming which my parents and hers are working together and are best of friends since they were in high school. That's why we are best friends, too. I call her Rey as she calls me Han. It stayed that way since we were kids.
Lee Reya, 18 years old, born on January 30, she can sing higher notes like me, can dance too, I taught her how to defend herself, I taught her how to rap and she, her parents and mine only know that I have powers. They called me a 'miracle' or so they say.
"We got 15 minutes left, Han! We gotta hurry!" Rey took my hand in hers as we began to run but I stopped running which made Rey stop too. "I can control time remember?" I twirl my fingers and there was a twinkle in Rey's eyes as she nods her head eagerly.
I slowed down time and we took off running to the building where auditions are held. We were on 'time' when we arrived near the building so I made time normal again. We walk towards the woman who was holding and giving out papers.
She looks at us and smiled. "Are you here to audition?" She asked and we nodded our heads. She gave us each an information paper for us to fill and she gave us numbers. We wrote our information on the paper as we wait patiently.
A lot of people were waiting in line and I guess we were the last. They were grouped in 5 and one by one, groups come and go. We were next and I held onto Rey for dear life. We walked in the studio and in front of us were the CEO's of SM Ent, JYP and YG.
Lee Soo Man of SM Ent., Park Jin Young of JYP, and Yang Hyun Suk of YG. Gosh I feel like my knees were going to give up. I have never been so nervous in my life.
This is my one chance in becoming a Kpop Idol. My chance to meet the people I admire and like. I'll give my best. I held Rey's hand and squeezed it gently. She squeezed back reassuring the both of us. We were the only girls in line out of the group of five and time went by. It was Rey's turn. "Lee Reya. Please come forward." Rey looks at me and I told her, "Fighting!". She gave me a nervous smile and heads to the front.
"Annyeonghaseyo! Lee Reya-imnida and I'm eighteen years old. I'll be singing Missing You by 2ne1 and will be dancing to BigBang's BangBangBang." Rey bows and introduced herself as the three big CEO's took a look on her information paper. They talked to each other as they smiled. "Proceed." Rey puffed out some air as she readies herself. She put her phone on the speakers while connecting the speakers to her phone and went back to the center as the song began. She started to sing calmly.

She continues to sing gracefully as the CEO's were enchanted by how she sang. Once she was done singing we clapped for her as she went to her phone and BangBangBang starts to play. She readies herself as her started with a flip landing perfectly to the floor. We watch in amazement.

She continues to dance with her feelings and she ended it with another flip. I felt proud of her because she did an amazing job. She did a bow before she took her phone and went back to the center. "We, three, would like to take you as our trainee, Lee Reya. But you have to choose only one of us." Lee Soo Man of SM Ent said with his eyes determined.
"Thank you so much but I'll choose SM Ent." Rey says with a bow as Mr. Lee made a fist pump in the air. Feeling victorious because he got someone as amazing as Rey.
I then realized that its my turn. My body went rigid as Rey came back to my side and noticed it. She rubbed my back soothing me and calming me down. "Seon Haneul, please go to the center." I shoot Rey a smile silently thanking her as I move to the front. My heartbeat increasing with each step I took. I stood up straight and gave them my best smile I could muster.
"Annyeonghaseyo! Seon Haneul-imnida and I'm eighteen years old. I'll be singi-" I was cut off by Mr. Lee. "I see here that you're the daughter of Seon Jung Il and Seon Se Yeon." I nod and they look at me with smiles on their faces.
"We are one of their partners/clients and we didnt know that their kid would be auditioning. It also says here that you can do the same as Ms. Reya over there." I nod again as Park Jin Young of JYP claps his hands. "Looks like we got another miracle here." Mr. Park says. "Proceed." The three CEOs said in unison.
"I'll be singing Memory of the Wind by Naul and I'll be dancing to EXO's Call Me Baby." Their eyes widen when I said Memory of the Wind. "That song is difficult to sing. But, please proceed." They became excited while I, here, am nervous. I put my phone to the speaker and played the song.

I continued to sing as my feelings flow through the song as I sang with grace and did a high note in the end. I then quickly made my way to my phone and changed the song. Call Me Baby played as I ran to the center. Like what Rey did at first, I did a difficult flip and landed perfectly. I used my own choreo for Call Me Baby since the original choreo was easy(please dont kill me T-T).

I danced with smooth moves and a lot of flips. I was nearing at the end and I made a difficult flip again and landed coolly. As I stood up, an uproar of claps filled the studio. I look up and see that everyone was clapping and the three CEOs stood up while clapping.
I blush and I bowed. "Amazing! We want you as our trainee but you need to choose only one, Haneul-shii." Mr. Yang of YG said with a smile. Oh gosh they want me. "I'll choose SM Ent." I spoke from the intense silence in the air.
Mr. Lee stood up and fist pump the air again. "Thank you for choosing me. That leads the end of the auditions today. Thank you for your efforts. Be safe everyone!" Mr. Lee said as everyone started to pile out the studio leaving me and Reya. Mr. Lee walks towards us and smiled at me and Reya.
"Thank you for choosing me. You, both, are special trainees and I literally mean are one of the special trainees in SM Ent. You'll be moving tomorrow to the dorms first thing in the morning. I'll message you guys the address of the dorms you'll be living in. See you tomorrow." Mr. Lee left us there dazed and feeling awesome.
"WE DID IT! We're SPECIAL TRAINEES!" We screamed at each other as we jumped up and down holding each others hands. We were like that for 5 minutes until the lights in the studio went off and we darted towards the door.
We ran out the building, our breathing uneven but we smiled like idiots. Our tummies growled in hunger. "We didnt eat lunch, Han." Rey stated the obvious and I nod, seeing the day has turned to night. "Let's go celebrate! I gotta tell eomma and appa!" Rey said and we went to our favorite restaurant while she called her parents.
Excited, she squealed and ended the call. We arrived at the restaurant and we were greeted by the waiters and employees. "Welcome back Haneul-shii and Reya-shii!" Joo Sung, our waiter greeted us with his charming smile.
"Hey, Joo Sung! We'll have the usual! Oh and a chocolate cake, too!" I licked my lips after saying cake. Ooh I just love cake. "Coming right up. Might I ask what the occasion is?" Joo Sung looks at how we are behaving.
We have huge grins on our faces and wont be coming off any time soon. "Oh its just that... We nailed our auditions!" Rey almost screamed as she high fives me. "Congratulations to you both! I'll be right back with your orders." Joo Sung went to the kitchen with our orders.
"Oh my gosh, Han. I cant believe we did it. We got in SM Ent! And we leave tomorrow. I'm so excited, Han!" We both squeal and hugged each other tightly. We talked and talked waiting for our food. Our food arrived and my mouth watered at the sight.
I began to eat as so did Rey. The smell wafted my nose and I instantly melted at how heavenly it smells and tastes. Though, it will never beat eomma's cooking. After eating, Joo Sung brought the cake out and me and Rey decided to bring it home to celebrate with my parents.
I paid for our food since Rey left her wallet at the house which she remembered after failing to find it, and we gave him a tip. We left the restaurant and headed home. Our walk was engulfed in comfortable silence as we embraced the feeling of achieving a step towards our dream.
Rey held my hand as we head home. We stopped in our tracks as we heard a grunt nearby. I looked at Rey and she knew what I need to do. She nods at me and we quickly run to the scene as quietly as possible. It was in an alley way where no one goes through. We peeked the inside and it shows a man holding up another man by the neck.
The man who was held up, was a few inches above the floor. What the hell? "You cant just leave, Gwang Min-ah. You know too much. We cant have that." The man on the right said, still holding the man on the left by the neck.
"I promise I wont tell anyone, I swear! I just dont want to be part of it anymore. My family will be in danger." The man on the left exclaimed and tried to kick the man on the right. He failed and earned a punch to the gut. The man on the right let the man go as the man fell to the ground holding his stomach.
"Your family, huh? That sweet and sexy wife of yours? That scrumptious daughter of yours? Once you're gone, we'll be taking care of them for you." The man on the right licks his lips and we looked at the man, disgusted.
"Dont you dare lay a finger on them, you assholes!" The man on the left tried to stand up but the man pushed him down. Not letting him stand up. Rey then starts to push me forward, knowing what I need do.
I walked towards the men. "Why dont you stop what you're doing and leave the poor man alone?" I took a step forward as the man snarls at me. "Why don't you scurry off, little girl or you'll be my next target after this guy over here." He licks his lips giving me a once over and I shook, disgusted at what he just did.
"You just made the wrong decision, ahjussi." I stopped the time and walk my way to the man on the ground. I pull him up and give him to Rey as Rey took him. I went back to the man who was frozen and punch his face.
My fist didnt hurt because it was already used to this. Punching bad guys. I step back as I made time normal again. The man in front of me fell down from the impact and was knocked out. I went to him and waved my hand, erasing his memories of me appearing.
I went back to Rey and the man in her arms. I waved my hand again taking away his memories of me saving him. The man grunted in pain as his eyes open up. His eyes widen as he jerks up looking around. His eyes laid on the knocked out man in the alley.
"What happened? Who are you?" He starts to ask and I did what I always did. "Someone in black saved you and we saw it all. The person put you on the floor near us and left so we grabbed you and carried you away." I made an excuse and he nods his head. "Go home safely and you should leave town after what just happened. Protect your family at all cost, okay?"
I gave him my friend, Kwangnim's business card. He's an agent who helps people who cant help themselves and need protection. Well, I happen to know the guy(Kwangnim) due to me tripping a robber, who Kwangnim was chasing, and helped arrest the robber. Our friendship started from there. "Give him a call, tell him everything and he'll do the rest. Dont worry about 'them' anymore. Now, go." I said as he thanked me and left us.
We left the unconscious man in the alley and I called the cops. "Another day for the hero, Han." Rey takes my hand as we head home.
We arrived home and we were welcomed with hugs. "Welcome home, dearies. How was the auditions?" Eomma said as appa let me go. I look at Rey and I did a small nod that only she understands. I started to cry and hugged appa.
"I didnt get in but Rey did. I failed my auditions, eomma, appa." I said with fake sadness as appa rubs my back. "It was awful, eomma." Rey says and she can call my eomma her eomma.
"Awe my baby." My Eomma pulls me in her embrace and hugs me tightly. I began to laugh as my eomma starts to let go of me. She was looking at me like I was crazy. "I'm just kidding eomma, appa. We both got in!" I hugged my parents and they sigh and laugh with me. I let go and held the cake up.
"We got cake!"
