"We challenge you both to a pitch game."
I look at Rey and she looks at me. We were talking to each other with our eyes which made us seem crazy. But I already know that she would like to. "Sure." I replied as I look at the guys.
They seem excited. Maybe they want to test me and Rey out with our talents/skills. We got up, leaving our plates on the table and left.
We walked out of the cafeteria and are heading to the elevator. "We're going to the studio to play the game." Chen speaks and we just nod our heads. I suddenly feel excited since I'm going to be inside a real studio where idols practice.
We make it to the elevator and got in. Suho pressing the floor button above the floor that we were on. The ride was quick as we exited the elevator. I was surprised that we even fit in the elevator. We started to make our way to the last door on the right. We entered and I was amazed. EXO's studio.
It was exactly the same as the ones in their practice videos(I don't really know where. This is just my thing/imagination). I was still admiring the studio until someone taps me on my shoulder. I spun around to see it was Kai. I bowed slightly while giving him a smile. "Annyeong, Haneul-shii." Kai greeted with his toothy grin which made my heart jump.
"A-Annyeong, Kai." I stutter and gave him a nervous toothy smile back. "I heard from Rey, over there, that you are the queen of dancing in your high school and college years. Wow, graduating high school and college at such a young age. But....."
"I want to see you dance." Kai voices out and I, unknowingly, coughed. Damnit Rey. Stop bragging about me and brag about yourself. I dont like it when she keeps talking about how awesome I am than telling them how awesome SHE is.
"Yeah? I guess you'll to see it soon, then." I teased and made my way to Rey. But before doing so, I saw Kai smiling at me and watching me the whole time as I made my way to Rey.
I grabbed Rey's arm. "Rey... You shouldnt talk about me. You should talk about yourself, too. It worries me, Rey." I told Rey and my eyes held sadness in them.
"I'm sorry, Han." She hugs me and I really hope she'll talk about herself next time.
We let go and grin at each other. If people saw us, they would call us crazy.
"Okay."Suho claps his hands, trying to get our attention and it worked. "The mechanics are if you squeak, or go out of tune with the pitch, then you're out." Xiumin states the mechanics and it was easy to follow I guess.
Never once in my life had I squeaked on my high notes. Rey was still taking lessons and I keep on teaching her, too.
"Xiumin, DO, Chen, and Baekhyun will be playing for us." I've seen them doing a pitch game before and Xiumin won which I think it was on weekly idol? I don't remember where I saw it.
Don't tell me we'll be doing- "Do, Re, Mi. Go until the highest pitch you can get to." We nod and we stride to the center. "Start."
I go first then Xiumin, then Rey, then Chen, then Baekhyun. I start with low to warm up my voice.
"Do." Xiumin next, "Re.". Rey, "Mi.". DO, "Fa.". Chen, "So." Baekhyun, "La." They were getting higher and I just calmly sang higher, "Ti." Then Xiumin did it higher than mine,
"Do." Damn Xiumin. It continues like a cycle till Baekhyun squeaked. "La-" "Baekhyun hyung, out." It continued and the guys were cheering for all of us. It went higher and higher that DO, squeaked and was out.
Higher and higher, Chen and Rey squeaked. Oh gosh. Its only me and Xiumin now. "Do." I started it with a high note. Xiumin looks like he was struggling now.
"Re." He was able to let out with a higher one. I wasnt struggling since I'm used to going higher and higher. "Fa." I sang a very high note that made the guys who were watching cover their ears. "So-" Xiumin squeaked in the end.
He was laughing as well the others did, too. "That was fun. Though, I think my throat feels rather rough." Xiumin says rubbing his throat as the other players rubbed their throats, too and luckily there is a fridge to get water bottles and drink water from.
They drank as Rey give me a bottle of water. I drank it leaving not a drop of water in the bottle. "I guess that makes Haneul the winner." Xiumin declares and they clap for me as I just laughed. The next thing I did was that I hug Xiumin. I noticed now that me and Xiumin are almost the same in height. I'm 1.72(5'8) while he's 1.73(5;8).
Xiumin's body went rigid for a bit not knowing what to do. To hug me back or not. I felt their eyes on me and I was about to let go but Xiumin hugs me back.
I felt the need to hug Xiumin so I did. I chuckle and let go of Xiumun. "Yah! I want one, too." Chanyeol says and I walk towards him and hug him. Though he was like a giant with my arms barely around his waist. I managed to hug him. My height being 1.72(5'8) and Chanyeol is obviously taller like 1.86(6'1). He hugs me back tightly while bending a bit.
I was pulled away from Chanyeol and pulled into a chest where the owner's arms wrap themselves around me. I look up to see Kai. Ah, I realized again how tall these guys are. Gosh. "I want one, too." I look to my left, DO was hugging Rey and Rey was, yet again, blushing.
I was then pulled into another chest. The person hugging me tightly shielding me from the others. "Okay, that's enough, now. We have a schedule that we need to do and go to. Right, Suho-hyung?"
It was Sehun's voice and he pushed me back gently so I can see his face, saying the last part as I just looked at his face as he asked Suho. Yeah, Sehun is a giant, too. 1.83(6'0) is his height while I look like a little kid.
"Yeah, Sehun's right. We gotta get going." Suho says as the guys murmured and began to pile out. "We'll see you again, Haneul-shii and Rey-shii."
They all spoke in unison as they drop us in our floor where our dorm room is and waved at us goodbye. "Bye!" We waved back as the elevator dinged and shut.
Me and Rey stride towards our room and unlocked the door. Entering as we took off our shoes and laid on the couch.
Feeling tired all of the sudden from the moment my body hit the couch. The softness of the couch made my eyes flutter shut. Suddenly my body felt like it was being shaken. My eyes opened and Rey's face was what I saw first thing.
"Bwo(What)?" I asked sitting up, rubbing my eyes and taking the dirt out of my eyes. "You slept for almost 3-ish hours and its almost 5 now, Han." Rey explains and I bob my head up and down, understanding.
I got up and made my way to the kitchen sink.
I gather water and splashed it on my face. The cooling water did wonders to my sleepy state. I woke up instantly and walk back to the living room, wiping the droplets of water that was left on my face.
I plop myself down the couch next to Rey and laid my head on her shoulder. Seeing that she's watching the last season of I Can See Your Voice.
"Hey, Han. Why dont you audition to be in I Can See Your Voice/ICSYV?" Rey suggested and I thought about it. I would love to. "Okay but when is the auditions?" Rey searched on her phone and it read XXXXXX XX, 2017.
"Oh its soon." I nod and watched some TV. We heard a knock on the door so I got up to open it. I see 7 people who I dont know. Three girls and four guys.
"Annyeong, we are special trainees here, too. We would like to congratulate you both with a celebration. We brought cake." The girl in the middle says with delight, showing me the cake box and I cant say no to those eyes and the cake.
"Come in." I let them in and closed the doors. "Who are they?" Rey jogged her way to us and asked. "They are special trainees, too. They brought cake." Rey nods and smile at them.
I took the cake and put it on the table. We all sat down when one of them said, "Let us introduce ourselves." The middle girl who talked earlier stood up. She bowed down and stood straight.
"Annyeonghaseyo, Kim Hoyi-imnida and I am 22 years old. I can sing and dance. I am the leader and the main vocalist. I am 5'5 and my birthday is on Oct. 31. I am nice and shy but dont let this face fool you because I change when I get mad. I hope we'll become close friends!" Hoyi bows and went to sit down. I look at her slim figure. She's shorter than me with her short straight hair. She looks mature and seems reliable.
Another one stood up. "Annyeonghaseyo, Shin Yani-imnida and I'm 21 years old. I can sing and dance, too. I am the dancing machine/main dancer and lead vocalist. I am 5'7 and my birthday is on Jan 3. I am good at cooking and I really like things that is red. I may be 'short' but dont mess with me cause I might bite." We laugh as she bows and sat down. I look at her, she's slim like Hoyi but taller. Her hair length stops at her boob area and is wavy. She looks like a kid but held fire in her eyes.
"What do you mean you're short? I'm shorter than you!" Hoyi says and Yani held her hands up as we, who were watching, were laughing.
The last girl stood up. "Annyeonghaseyo, Hwang Xia-imnida and I'm 19 years old. I can rap and dance. I'm the main rapper and lead dancer. I'm 5'6 and my birthday is on Dec. 2. I like sports and swimming. Please take care of me!" She bows and sat down. I look at her figure. Lean and slim. Her hair stops right at her shoulder. Her hair a brown-ish color and she kind of has freckles which is cute, might I add. Now its the boys' turn.
One of them stood up. "Annyeonghaseyo, Kwon Ja Hyuk-imnida and I'm 23 years old. I can sing and dance. My birthday is on March 21. I am the leader of our group, I write lyrics, and I'm the main vocalist. I like animals and I mean all of them. I like playing basketball and making my own beat. I am responsible and if you need help, dont be shy to ask me." He sat down after bowing. He's almost as tall as Sehun and Kai. He has good fashion sense from the outfit he was wearing. His hair is a bit ruffled up and is colored blonde.
The next one stood up. "Annyeonghaseyo, Lee Gichul-imnida and I'm 23 years old as well. I can rap and dance. I am the main rapper and a composer. I like anything sweet and fluffy. I like playing soccer and swimming. My birthday is on Nov. 3. I'm a bit shy so please bear with me but if we become close friends, you'll see a lot of changes. Thank you." he sat down. His hair bounced when he sat down. It looks soft to touch. I might touch his hair later to see whether or not its soft. His fashion sense is also good. He looks taller than Ja Hyuk.
Another one got up. "Annyeonghaseyo, Jeong Jaehyun-imnida and I'm 20 years old. I can sing and dance. I am the lead vocalist and I'm in charge of the flips. My birthday is on January 1. I like video games and reading. I think I have the shortest temper among the four of us so in case I get mad, give me a pillow or a hug and I'll be good as new." He bows and laughs at the last. I glance at him and he is a bit on the bulky side which might be from working out. Looks good on him though. Seems taller than me.
I turn to look at the last one and he was staring at me. His eyes widen when I caught him staring and I urge him to start. He stood up and dusted his pants. He bows somewhat cutely.
"Annyeonghaseyo, Kwang Ki Joon-imnida and I'm 18 years old. I can sing, rap and dance. I am the choreographer and lead rapper. My birthday is on April 19. I like Hiphop and I like to listen to music. I can also do flips and I do surfing. Uhm I can cook. I may not look like it but I'm very shy, especially to girls that I like." He glances at me for a moment then switches his gaze at the wall in front of him and continues. "I am a hugger so dont be surprise if I hug you guys." He bows then sat down which is next to me. He looks cute and since we're the same age, I guess we can be comfortable around him.
"Now, let us introduce ourselves." Rey says and I smile at them. Rey got up first. "Annyeong! Lee Reya-imnida and I'm 18 years old. I can sing high notes, I can dance, I can rap a little bit but I'm still learning, I can do flips too, and I like the color green. My birthday is on July 18. I like teddy bears the big ones and fluffy things too. I am very nice and fun to be with. Dont be shy to talk to me. Next up is, Haneul!" She motions her hands towards me.
I stood up and smile, my eyes doing a smile, too. "Annyeong! Seon Haneul-imnida and I'm 18 years old. I can sing high notes, I can dance, I can rap, I can do flips too, I can fight, I can write lyrics, play any instrument and I'm really friendly so dont be afraid to approach me. I can cook and I'm a neat person. I'm honest cause I dont like lying to people. I dont like hurting people unless they deserve a beating. But all in all, I'm very nice and caring." I bow and sat down.
They all look at me their mouths agape. I look at Rey and she had her arms crossed and the look of being proud was shown.
"Wow." Ki Joon exclaims and I look at him with a smile. We talked and talked till it was time for dinner. "I'll cook dinner guys. You stay here and have fun." I suggest as I stood up.
Ki Joon also stood up, rubbing his neck. "I'll help you, Haneul-shii." He utters it out with his eyes looking at the floor. Maybe he is not that comfortable with me yet.
"Sure, come on." I link my arm with his and I felt him stiffen at my action. I lead him to the kitchen and let go.
"I would like you to cut some..." I instructed him and smoothly we made food. Ki Joon putting the food on the table as I put rice in bowls. "Smells good!" They came running to the table smelling the food.
"Smells delicious, Haneul-shii." They compliment and I blush. "Thank you but it wouldnt be that delicious if it weren't for Ki Joon helping me."
I side-hug Ki Joon and his body stiffens again. But he relaxed and contemplated whether to hug me back. He hugs me back in the end and smiled.
"You two look good together." Jaehyun and Ja Hyuk declare as Ki Joon blushed and hugged me tighter. "Come on. Let's eat." We took our food and went back to the living room since we all cant fit in the dining table.
We ate as we watched a movie. I was in between Rey and Gichul on the couch which Ki Joon and Gichul did rock, paper, scissors for who can sit on the couch which has left a spot for one to sit on.
Gichul won and Ki Joon, pouts in defeat. "Its okay, Ki Jooniee." Gichul ruffles Ki Joon's hair as Ki Joon sat down on the floor next to Jaehyun as he continue to eat. We finished and a bell rang out the halls.
I check the time and it was almost 10. "Do we have a curfew?" I asked as my eyebrows furrowed. "Yeah. 10 is the curfew which we need to be in the dorm rooms by then." Jaehyum explains as I understood.
"Thank you for the food! I hope we can hang out more!" Hoyi excitingly thanked me and suggests as the others agreed with her. "Sure, that would be fun!" I say and Rey agrees. "We gotta go before we get in trouble."
They stood up and I go with them as they pile out of the room after wearing their shoes. "Good night!" They greeted as we returned the greeting. "Good night, Haneul-shii." Ki Joon says as the others were beginning to walk away.
He hugs me and I wasnt expecting a hug from him. I hugged back because I want to. "Good night, Ki Joon-shii." He lets go and we waved to each other. I shut the door and made my way to the plates to clean them.
Rey beats me to it as she starts to get them all. "I'll do the dishes. You sit and wait for me." She orders and I didnt mind so I sat down. My phone buzzed. I check the name and it was Mr. Lee.

"Rey! I got my schedule for tomorrow! Check it out." I ran quickly to Rey as I held out my phone in front of her. Rey washed her hands since it was surrounded by soap. She took out her phone, saw a text with her schedule and scan both our schedules.
"We have the same schedule. Also I'm done with the dishes. Let's sleep. I cant wait for tomorrow. Wake me up, please Han." Rey slides her arm around my shoulders as we head to our rooms. "Oh yeah. It's January 1, 2017 today. Time flies by so fast. Also, it's Jaehyun's, the guy we met earlier, and Sungmin's, from Super Junior, birthdays today. I just now realized." I say as I realized it at the moment. "Oh, you're right. Let's buy cakes for them tomorrow and we should also have a party for them both. I mean we can have like a surprise birthday party for them. We might even meet Super Junior tomorrow if we're lucky." Rey suggests which I nodded, agreeing with her.
Then, I pursed my lips, knowing I'll be waking Rey up again and maybe for the rest of my life. We jotted away to our bedrooms before quickly saying, "Good night, Han." "Good night, Rey.".
As we retire to our rooms, I changed into my pajamas and getting ready for bed. I check my phone again. My lock-screen was of me and Rey, smiling ear to ear as I unlocked my phone.
My home-screen was of my favorite boy groups. EXO, SHINee, SUJU, INFINITE, GOT7, 2PM, 2AM, BIGBANG, iKON, WINNER, BOYFRIEND, Monsta X, Beast, BTS and Jung Ji Hoon/BI Rain.
Oh how handsome they all are. I'm getting more and more excited knowing I might meet them in the future, if the opportunity comes. I did a prayer before I slept. Tomorrow's a new day.
A day full of unexpected and unpredictable events. A Monday.
