WILL BE ANOTHER LONGG CHAPPTERRRRR!!!!!!
________________________________________
..... February 14, 2017.... A Tuesday.....
The day arrives, and all of the trainees have awoken to the sound of their song, "Who." They showered, ate breakfast, and prepared for the First Ranking Announcement, which consisted of the trainees' rankings. The trainees were assembled in the same facility where the first episode's grade evaluation took place, but this time there were chairs in front of the ranking chairs for the trainees to sit on before the ranking results were announced. The shoot has begun, and the trainees are being interviewed one by one about how they feel about the First Ranking Announcement and what their expectations are behind the scenes.
The personnel instructed that trainees who are under the same entertainment should come out of the backstage area and onto the stage together to introduce themselves and be seated. Then came the individual trainees, who filed out in groups to take their places. The trainees also had a little fun while on stage in order to attract the audience as well as those who are watching so that they can take advantage of it.
When all of the trainees had taken their seats, the tension in the air became palpable as they awaited the First Ranking Announcement. The trainees hoping they were in the top 60 so they could show off more of themselves without being eliminated. The trainees begin to communicate what's on their thoughts one by one. We were both nervous and apprehensive, and we were attempting to calm each other down.
Music begins to play, and Lee Dong Wook appears in front of the audience, walking towards the stage. The trainees clapped and cheered for him. "Vote for your trainee. Produce 10. Hello. Lee Dong Wook-imnida, National Producer Representative." Dong Wook introduces himself and bows at the conclusion, to the delight of the trainees. The trainees were grateful when Dong Wook started small chat to calm everyone's hearts and fears for the approaching outcomes.
"It's unfortunate that today has arrived, but it's an unavoidable step in the race to your dream debut; among all trainees, the first to 60th on the rankings will survive, while the 61st to 101st on the rankings will be eliminated," Dong Wook explains, as the trainees appear unhappy and distraught. "The results of the online voting for the previous week and five days, in which National Producers themselves participated, the results of the on-site voting by 1,000 people during the Group Battle yesterday, the benefit votes given to the winning team and the first place trainees, and all of the voting results were combined to determine who survives and who is/are eliminated."
The trainees nod their heads, accepting the outcomes that would be revealed today, as Dong Wook explains. The trainees had received a total of 25,984,143 votes until today." As Dong Wook revealed the number of votes, the trainees were startled by how many had voted and had their mouths wide in surprise.
Dong Wook asks the trainees a question to which they respond, "How many of the trainees will get to make their debut?" "10." "That's correct, ten trainees will make their debut," Dong Wook continues, as the trainees nod their heads once more. "Who will be the center of attention and sit at the top of the rankings? Who will be the first trainee to be ranked first?" Dong Wook pauses as he stares at the camera pointed at him.
"National Producers..... It will be disclosed shortly," Dong Wook said slowly, causing the trainees to hold their breath and nervously laugh when he finished his sentence, heightening the anxiety. As the trainees take a break, Dong Wook laughs with them.
During the break, the directors displayed footage from yesterday's activities, in which the trainees received physical exercise from a physical trainer to stay in shape, both male and female trainees. They began with strength training, with Haneul performing the best overall, surprising both the male and female trainees, as well as the trainer. There were also some amusing situations during strength training.
They conducted aerobic and leg endurance, with Haneul coming out on top, startling both the male and female trainees, as well as the trainer, and causing much more amusement. After showing their training and having their snacks, the short ended with them cheering for each other and saying good luck to each other, which touched the hearts of those who will be viewing the final output of this episode.
The break is over, and everyone has returned to their original positions. To begin the show, Lee Dong Wook returns to the stage. "Now I'll disclose the trainees rated 51st to 59th," says the emcee, and the trainee rankings begin. The trainees said a few words of thanks and encouragement, and their votes ranged from 200,000 to 400,000 votes, from 51st to 59th. The top ten, as well as the 60th place finisher, are now the only ones left.
Starting from top 10 to top 6, trainees with high votes proceed to complete the top 10 ranks one by one. Ilsung, Yong Wook, Youngmi, Ae Cha, and Yin Kyung jumped from 10th to 6th place, much to Haneul's delight. Ae Cha is in the top ten, Yin Kyung is in the top nine, Youngmi is in the top eight, Ilsung is in the top seven, and Yong Wook is in the top six. Each received between 400,000 and 500,000 votes.
Everyone was surprised that Il Sung, Yong Wook, Youngmi, Ae Cha, and Yin Kyung made the top 10, and they know it was because of Haneul's assistance. Most of those on the 59th rank and higher are also there thanks to Haneul's assistance. Haneul proudly smiles at the people seated in the graded chairs. She also tells others who haven't been called that everything will be fine and that their time will come.
This allowed the trainees' unhappy hearts to settle down. "Now that just the top 5 are left, who will it be?!?" Dong Wook exclaims, and the trainees get increasingly anxious for the top 5. "The fifth goes to..." Dong Wook adds, and Rank 5 was given to a female RBW Ent trainee. Mamamoo was the first to debut. As the trainee gave her speech, everyone applauded her.
"The 4th goes to..." says Dong Wook, and Rank 4 is awarded to a male trainee from BigHit Entertainment, where BTS, Gfriend, Seventeen, and others made their debuts. "The 3rd goes to..." Dong Wook states, and the Rank 3 went to Hwang Chungho, a male trainee from Top Media, which debuted Teen Top and Up10tion. Hwang Chungho - was one of the boys who was trying for the center position with Haneul from chptr 27-.
"Now we're down to the top two! Who do you believe the first and second are?" Dong Wook asks the trainees, who shout and yell the names of who they think are the top two, naming Sungmin and Haneul. "Alright! There will be two trainees battling for top 1, and their names are Seon Haneul and Ju Sungmin! Who will it be?!?" Dong Wook announced their names, and the audience clapped and cheered.
"The number one goes to..." Dong Wook pauses as he examines the cards in his hand. The trainees are expecting him to say the name. Dong Wook couldn't help but smile when he saw the name on the 1st Rank. "Seon Haneul!" said Dong Wook, and the trainees clapped and applauded for her. They're congratulating her loudly. Haneul was taken aback, but she gradually began to thank people who had congratulated her, including Sungmin.
Sungmin was upset by his second-place finish, but after seeing Haneul, he begins to humble himself and accept the results. Haneul looks at Sungmin, who was congratulating her, and takes his hand in hers so that they can both go up to the platform to express their gratitude and words. As she and Sungmin walked up the stage, Haneul looked ecstatic. Haneul lets go of Sungmin's hand by the time they get to Dong Wook's side, Sungmin blushing and Dong Wook looked jealous?
Dong Wook asks Haneul and Sungmin, who nod their heads, whether they'd like to say a few things. "I'd like to thank those who voted for me and my fellow trainees; we will work hard to earn your votes again on the next announcement. To those who supported us, we sincerely thank you and love you all. To the trainees who made the top 60, congratulations to you all; I hope you'll aim higher so work hard. To those who didn't, don't be discouraged; there will be a time when you'll shine. Better things are always on the way, so don't be discouraged; instead, use this experience to learn from it and grow stronger. Good luck to all of us!"
Haneul expresses her gratitude, support, and good luck to her fellow trainees, who praised her for always being there for them. Sungmin also spoke, and the trainees expressed their gratitude for his comments. "You two may sit in your seats; we still have to call the 60th place," Dong Wook says, looking at his cards again to see who the 60th place candidates are.
Dong Wook begins by introducing three candidates and estimating their vote totals. Finally, the 60th spot was awarded to a single man trainee. As soon as the top 60 have been announced, everyone says their goodbyes to the camera for the day, and the shoot comes to a close. Despite the fact that the shoot stopped there, the trainees were filmed giving each other words of encouragement and strength. Haneul hugged everyone of them and told them that they had done their best.
Haneul couldn't help but cry as the trainees thanked her for everything she had done for them. The trainees were amused by Haneul's tears and delighted that they had met her. "Thank you for everything, Haneul-ah/eonnie/noona!" the trainees said as they bowed and thanked Haneul once more. When the trainees rose up again, Haneul cried even harder and bent her head.
"Thank you for letting me to get to know everyone here! I'll never forget you!" Haneul exclaims, tears streaming down her cheeks and onto the ground. Hearing her comments, the trainees began to cry. The trainees were crying and hugging each other. They are also hugging Haneul in a group embrace. "We'll see each other at the top, okay? You better promise me people!" Haneul cries, and the trainees respond with a cheerful "Yes, ma'am!"
Haneul couldn't help but chuckle when she heard that. The directors and staff were instructing the trainees who had been eliminated to pack their belongings and leave the next day because it was already night. All of the trainees proceeded to their rooms together, helping each other pack their belongings. They connected during this time, ate dinner together, and spoke till they fell asleep.
A week went by... February 21, 2017..... A Tuesday.....
They spent the previous week saying goodbye to their fellow trainees, participating in events, having fun, improving their physical fitness, taking breaks, and getting pranked by the staff and directors.
The trainees all awoke to another day of filming. The trainees ate breakfast, showered, dressed in their training uniforms, and proceeded to the building where they would be gathering for another announcement. The 60 trainees were seated in a large, open room with high walls in front of them. Then Dong Wook appears out of nowhere, having walked out of the side of a wall. The trainees applauded and clapped for him.
"The National Producers have voted, and according to the results, only 60 trainees have survived; with this, you'll be able to pursue your dream of debuting as a global idol," Dong Wook declares, as the trainees clap and yell their approval.
"From this point forward, everything will reset, including the total number of votes and the rankings that were awarded to each of you at the First Ranking Announcement," Dong Wook announces, as the trainees gasp in surprise. "Because all of the trainees will begin at the same time, you must give each evaluation your all; everyone is aware of this, right?"
Dong Wook inquired, and all of the trainees responded with a resounding "Yes!" "Trainee Hung Youngmi, from first to what rank did the trainees need to survive throughout Season One?" Dong Wook asks Youngmi, who glances up with wide eyes when her name is spoken. Youngmi says, "From the first to the 35th," without faltering, which surprises her.
"What do you think this season will be like?" Dong Wook asks the trainees as they begin to speculate among themselves. "From 1st..... to 30th will survive," Dong Wook said, and the trainees' mouths were wide open as they realized that half of them would be removed. The trainees gasped in disbelief and turned to their sides to see where their fellow trainees were.
The trainees are all debating what they should do to make the top 30, knowing that they must all demonstrate their worth, while Haneul is disappointed that half of them will be eliminated. "The new evaluation will determine your survival or removal.... The Position Evaluation," Dong Wook adds, and the trainees clap with their mouths open.
"At this stage, you'll choose a position that you want to be in case you make a debut, and depending on your position, you'll have to arrange a song, write rap lyrics, or produce choreography yourself," Dong Wook explains, as the trainees nod in agreement.
Dong Wook continues, "Trainee Seon Haneul in first place, you played an original song at the first evaluation." Everyone stares at Haneul, who glances at them as well, not expecting to be named. Dong Wook asks Haneul, "Are you confident that you'll prove your talent this time?" Haneul smiles and nods. "Yes, although each of them is enticing to pick from, I'll go where my heart leads me," Haneul adds honestly as she smiles, prompting 'ooohhh' from the trainees and Dong Wook.
Dong Wook announces, as the trainees shout and holler, "Let me now unveil the song choices of each position." Dong Wook says, "First, there's the Vocal." One of the cloth-covered barriers in front of the trainees fell, revealing the song options.
Vocals: Charlie Puth's We Don't Talk Anymore, Troye Sivan's Youth, BTOB's I'll Be Your Man, and 2am's One Spring Day. Each song has five members.
When the trainees looked at the music selections, they noticed that the songs by BTOB and 2am were both exceedingly difficult because to their high pitches. Some were ecstatic, while others were terrified because they didn't want to choose the difficult options.
"The second one is rap," Dong Wook explains, as another wall's cloth falls, revealing the song selections.
Rap: Mino ft Zico's Okey Dokey and Tashannie's Warning. Each song has four members.
When the trainees see the two songs being performed, they applaud the good ones. Especially those that prefer rap and enjoy the tunes. "The next is Dance," Dong Wook says, as the trainees wait for the Dance wall's cloth to fall.
Dance: Jennifer Lopez's remix, Ain't Your Mama, has six members, Chris Brown's remix, Liquor, has seven members, and Bruno Mars' remix, Finesse, has six members.
The trainees who will choose Dance were going 'ooooh' as they looked at the songs, recalling the lyrics, while others who didn't know the songs were confused. The trainees were perplexed by the song selections and which ones they should pick until they noticed a fourth wall that was still draped in its cloth.
"This time, we have one more position," Dong Wook adds, and the trainees wonder what it is. "The songs will require two positions as well..." Dong Wook trails off as the last wall's cloth falls, revealing the song selections.
Attention by Charlie Puth includes 7 members on vocals and dance.
T.O.P's Doom Dada features 6 members in rap and dance.
These are the song selections that caused the trainees to become increasingly concerned. "Any trainees who pick this season's new position will have to sing and dance or rap and dance at the same time," Dong Wook recalls, adding that the trainees began to joke about how ridiculous it was. Haneul, on the other hand, was calculating each position and song to determine which one drew her attention.
"Because idol singers have more potential these days, many of them are skilled in multiple fields rather than sticking to singing, rapping, or dancing; these are known as All-Rounders. Produce 10 wishes to give you all a chance to show your various abilities through this new Position, in which all 60 trainees will be evaluated individually this time."
The trainees let out gasps of surprise after what Dong Wook said. "The audience will vote for each trainee, whether they were good or bad, and 1,000 National Producers will be on-site to vote. Among the vocal, rap, and dance positions, the first place winners of each song will be given 100x the number of votes they receive," Dong Wook says, and the trainees are once again stunned.
Dong Wook declares, "Trainees who place first in each position will be rewarded..... 100,000 benefit votes." The trainees resume their conversation. "If you choose the new role, you'll have to work two jobs at the same time, but you'll get twice the benefit votes," Dong Wook says, as the trainees are once again taken aback by the high risk, high reward proposition.
"First place trainees in each song in the new position will be given 200x the amount of their votes, with the first place trainee of the new position receiving a total of 200,000 benefit votes, but there's one thing you must remember..." Dong Wook pauses as he examines each of the trainees.
"If you're rapping and dancing, you have to compose rap lyrics and choreography; if you're singing and dancing, you have to organize a song and choreography," Dong Wook explains, as the trainees nod in agreement.
"If you don't manage to complete both in time, you can end up with a poorer result than focusing on one, so consider carefully about whether the new role is better for you or not. Think and decide carefully," Dong Wook concludes as the trainees debate whether or not to take the new post.
"Let me explain how you'll choose a song from now on..... When you enter the Path of Song Selection, you'll find 11 cards with songs written on them; choose one, then stand in front of the sign on the innermost side that has the same song written on it."
Dong Wook elaborates and adds to the discussion. "As you can see, while you're waiting for your turn, you can't watch the trainees choosing their songs," Dong Wook explains, as the trainees all nod as they notice the barriers covering their view of the Path of Song Selection.
"You can't be in the same group just because you're close, and you can't avoid those you want to avoid because each song has a limited number of spots open. Trainees in high places have a better chance to choose what they want, but trainees in low places might not be able to choose the song or the position they want," Dong Wook says, and the trainees feel the tension and fear rise again.
"Now we'll start choosing songs for the Position Evaluation," Dong Wook adds, as the trainees clap their hands and take a short break. The trainees take a walk to the food and water section to eat and drink a little to relax their bodies.
The trainees returned to their stations after the break to resume the filming. "Trainee Seon Haneul in first place, please come up front," Dong Wook asks, looking at Haneul as she smiles and bows her way up to Dong Wook. Dong Wook was startled by the sight of Haneul, but once he was near him, he was able to calm himself.
"Tell me what position you want before you enter," Dong Wook says, and Haneul is undecided about telling him. Haneul gets closer to Dong Wook's ears, but Dong Wook had to stoop down a little to lend Haneul his ear because Haneul is shorter than him. Haneul got near to Dong Wook's ear and stated this instead, because the mic could pick up whatever Haneul was saying.
"It's a secret," Haneul taunts, catching Dong Wook off surprise. Haneul draws away from him, trying not to laugh. Dong Wook was taken aback and didn't know what to say. "It's shocking," Dong Wook admits as he returns to reality and regains his composure. As soon as Dong Wook said it, the trainees became more frightened.
Haneul, on the other hand, was chuckling away by Dong Wook's side. "Please proceed to the Path of Song Selection," Dong Wook says, smiling, while Haneul chuckles to herself and walks to the Path. Walking to the other side of the wall, where there is a table with cards for each position's music.
Haneul didn't pause to consider the other song as she grabbed a card of her choice and walked to the opposite side to stand in front of the same card. Allow me to tease them a little. Haneul ponders this as she walks to another card's location and stands there, her card hidden behind her back, waiting for the next trainee.
The trainee in second place appears, holding the card of his choice, as he notices Haneul waiting in front of a card line. "Sungmin oppa!" Haneul waves, and Sungmin grins and waves back, nervously walking towards her. "You choose Finesse by Bruno Mars as well, Haneul-ah?" Sungmin inquires as he and Haneul exchange high fives. "Nope," Haneul responds, before moving on to scare the next trainee with the next song.
Sungmin grins and breathes a sigh of relief as he realizes he won't have to compete for first place in both his music choice and the Dance Position. Haneul went to BTOB's I'll Be Your Man by the Vocals stand while waiting for the next trainee. Sungmin followed Haneul and stood behind her in line with BTOB's song, wanting to partake in the joy.
The next trainee was Chungho, who was surprised to see both Sungmin and Haneul in the same song choice and had his mouth open. "No way," Chungho exclaims as he walks to his favorite song, Attention by Charlie Puth, and high-fives Haneul and Sungmin along the way.
"All right, on to the next one!" Haneul exclaims as she walks to another Rap song, Mino ft Zico's Okey Dokey, as she stifles her laughter and waits for the next trainee. Sungmin followed, which perplexed Chungho, but he eventually realized they were just having some fun. Chungho pursues them, eager to participate in the fun. concealing their choice of song.
As the three did so, the top 4-10 arrived and had the same reaction as they saw the top 10 scattered and/or listestanding to the same music. The top 2-10 stopped playing since they were becoming tired and went to their own songs, while Haneul continued to have a good time. Trainees arrived one by one, chose their songs, and stood by them while exhibiting the same reactions as everyone else due to Haneul's song changing.
Haneul went to her song of choice till the last student arrived and stood by the song, which surprised the trainees once more because they had no idea what her music choice was until now. In her music selection, she looks at her companions and wishes them luck and support.
"Now you'll begin practicing; you should already be aware of the importance of being the center in Produce 10, so I won't have to explain it to you. The main vocalist in the vocal position, the main rapper in the rap position, and the main dancer in the dance position will be the centers of each team. For the new position, those who can play two different positions well should be the centers. To put it another way, all-rounder trainees can be the centers."
Dong Wook says, and the trainees nod their heads, as if they comprehend what he's stated. "Stay healthy and don't get hurt. Do your best to practice," Dong Wook adds his parting words as the trainees shout their "yes" and applause for him as he exits the room to begin exercising.
It is currently 10:34 a.m., which is when they begin their meetings before their practices. In each song, each team went to spots where they could practice while giving each other space. The teams are holding meetings to appoint the leaders and centers. Haneul and her colleagues are seated on the floor in the location where they are.
Haneul examines her members and determines that they are well-balanced. Five of them could rap, but others needed assistance with dance. "I suppose we're quite balanced in this team, which I'm delighted about," Haneul says as she smiles at her teammates. "Let's assign someone as the team's leader and center; any recommendations or do you want to recommen-" Haneul's query was cut short when one of her team members raised their hand.
"Yes?" Haneul inquires as she examines the male trainee, who is staring at her intently. The male trainee asks, "Can't you be the leader and the center at the same time?" Haneul shakes her head. "I can't. We have to get the other people's opinions first. They might want a chance to be the center as well, and I don't want to take that away from you guys," Haneul says, looking each of them in the eyes.
As the rest of the members nod, a female trainee member says, "It's okay. We want you to." "I don't believe that's a good idea—" Haneul's voice was cut off once more by a finger to her lips, which silenced her. Haneul looks around for the finger's owner and notices another female trainee member.
"Stop refusing and simply accept," the female trainee member advises Haneul, her gaze fixed on her. Haneul couldn't see anything unfavorable in the female trainee's eyes, much less in the eyes of any of her other comrades. "But honestly, I can't just-" Haneul gently tugs the female trainee's finger down as she speaks, but her members shake their heads, cutting her off once more.
"It's final," Haneul's members stated in unison, and Haneul shrugged her shoulders, unable to respond. "I'll do everything I can to make our team one of the finest." Haneul says, as her teammates applaud and clap for her and their team.
"I've been thinking about how we're going to achieve this..." Haneul then shared her ideas with her members, while also listening to theirs so they could combine them. "Since T.O.P. Hyung's song was about being the best, guiding his juniors to the top and bringing down his enemies or doubters, why not make ours One Step Forward to Our Dream?"
Haneul's group members nodded their heads in approval of one of the male trainee members' suggestions for their theme and concept. "How about On Top of the World?" one of the female trainee members suggests, and the rest of the group nods in agreement.
"Let's pick one of them with rock paper scissors," Haneul adds, laughing, and her members laugh as well at how ridiculous their method of selecting a concept is. The people who came up with the concepts fought it out, and the male trainee came out on top. "It is One Step Forward to Our Dream," Haneul confirms, and with that, Haneul and her members strive to come up with choreography for the song first, before writing their own rap lyrics.
The other teams followed suit, choosing their leaders and centers before beginning their training.
A week went by... February 28, 2017..... A Tuesday.....
Trainees preparing for their team performance in their waiting area, staff preparing for the shoot, 1,000 National Producers arriving inside the venue to do on-site voting, and staff attempting to complete all tasks before the shoot begins.
Trainees who are scared and anxious are struggling to relax, while Haneul is trying to relax her teammates as well, since they are all feeling the strain. "Everyone, we'll start in 5 minutes!" a staff member announces after opening the trainees' waiting area to tell them.
The staff departed, leaving the trainees to try to recall their songs, steps, and avoid forgetting them. The cameras turned on and began shooting at the stage, in front of where the National Producers on site were cheering on the trainees as they waited in their waiting area. When Lee Dong Wook appeared and walked towards the center of the platform, the audience erupted in applause, and the trainees joined in, clapping their hands as well.
"Vote for your trainee, Produce 10. Hello, I'm Lee Dong Wook, National Producer Representative." Dong Wook introduces the show and himself before bowing, to the delight of the audience and trainees. "The Position Evaluation is the assignment that the National Producers will be evaluating the 60 trainees on." Dong Wook adds as the audience cheers and becomes thrilled again as the monitor above the stage displays the word POSITION.
"There are voice positions, rap positions, and dance positions for today's Position Evaluation.... And a new position has been developed," Dong Wook remarks, and the mention of the newly formed position piqued the audience's interest.
"It's the W position," Dong Wook says, to the surprise of the audience. "The trainees who pushed themselves for the W position must be able to do both rap and dance or vocal and dance positions during the performance, and now I will explain to you how you can vote on-site," Dong Wook adds as he proceeds to teach the audience how to vote on-site.
"You'll be voting for each of the 60 trainees individually. Please evaluate how well the trainees I call out performed in their chosen positions. You can either vote whether he did well or not. We'll combine the votes from 1000 National Producers here with the online votes from the National Producers who are evaluating the trainees on the TV. The trainees' survival and elimination will be determined by this result again," Dong Wook said, as the trainees gulped down their saliva, frightened of what was to come.
"Now the trainees will begin their performances for the Position Evaluation," Dong Wook adds as the audience applauds. The individuals who were watching from behind the television were amused and looking forward to what was about to happen. SM Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, BigHit Entertainment, and other entertainment stars were watching the show with eager anticipation, knowing exactly who they were rooting for. They were observing each trainee's performance to see if they were good or not, as they would either be the idols' juniors.
After a few more remarks from Dong Wook, he concludes his introduction by saying, "Let the Position Evaluation performances begin immediately." The spectators and audience scream their hearts out in glee. "The Youth team, which is made up of both girl and boy trainees, will be the first to perform in the Vocal Position!" Dong Wook exclaims. As the Youth team took the stage, Dong Wook added, "I'm intrigued how they handled the song." The audience erupted in applause, admiring their youthful attire and admiring their beauty and charm.
Dong Wook glances at the audience and then at the camera after exchanging words with the Youth team. "Let us begin!" exclaims Dong Wook, who smiles as he walks away. The Youth squad arriving at their respective places and preparing to perform on stage, their hearts pounding in their chests. The song Youth by Troy Sivan began to play, however it was turned into a remix in which they added their own style. As trainees began to sing one by one, everyone was drawn into the song. Their vocals blended in well with the music. The audience's arms were covered with goosebumps till the Youth team ended their song. Everyone erupted in applause and cheered for the team.
Dong Wook returned after the performance and exchanged words with the Youth team before instructing the crowd to begin voting. After casting their votes, the Youth team headed to a room where their results will be displayed on a large television. The Youth team was frightened and scared of the outcome, yet they had no regrets about their performance. The trainees clasped hands while they awaited the results, and in the end, a female trainee took first place, followed by others. They praised each other and consoled others in lesser positions.
"Please pay ATTENTION to me, National Producers. The W Position was recently added to the evaluation this season, and one of the W Position teams will capture your eyes and ears with the song they arranged themselves and the choreography they came up with themselves. The next song is Attention by Charlie Puth," Dong Wook announces, and the trainees in the Attention team begin to stand up and walk out of the waiting room and towards the stage, trying to calm their hearts. The crowd was enthralled to observe the trainees as well as how they structured the music, and this piqued their interest.
The Attention team entered the stage dressed in black and white suits, including the girls, who looked great. The audience and those watching from behind the television were awestruck by their appearance and ambience. Dong Wook left the stage after exchanging pleasantries with the audience, and the Attention team proceeded to their spots, ready to perform. When the song began to play, it immediately drew everyone's attention.
It began with a female trainee's voice, followed by that of a male trainee. It was a good harmony, and they began to move, singing and dancing to their choreography. They gave it their all, singing and dancing to the tune they composed, which enthralled the entire audience.
Dong Wook returned to the stage after the Attention team had finished performing and exchanged comments with the team and the audience. Dong Wook gives the crowd the signal to vote for their favorite trainee. After that, the Attention team went into the room to review their results. Before the results were announced, the trainees gave each other hugs and reassuring words.
Even when they were encountering difficulties during practice, they had no misgivings about their performance. When the results were in, a male trainee came in first, followed by another, and so on until the final trainee was rated.
"The next team is performing Warning by Tashannie, Warning team!" Dong Wook exclaims, as an all-girl Warning team takes the stage, their outfits bright and styled to reflect their image. They appeared vibrant and cool to the onlookers. Dong Wook exited after exchanging pleasantries with everyone, and the Warning team resumed to their positions, where the song began.
They reworked the bouncy tune into something that matched their coolness theme. Everyone was excited by how they arranged the song, and when they were done, the audience and trainees applauded them, believing it was a fantastic performance. Dong Wook returned and chatted with the trainees, and the Warning team moved to the room to view their results, behaving in the same manner as the teams before them. The results were revealed, and none of them were disappointed. They were overjoyed to be able to perform together.
When Haneul's crew appeared on stage, Dong Wook was equally perplexed. "May I ask what concept you're striving for?" Dong Wook inquires of the team, the members prompting Haneul to speak for the team. "Well, our concept is actually One Step Forward to Our Dream," Haneul tries to explain, "in which we wanted to show that wearing normal clothes is us starting at the bottom, and being here is the step forward to our dream. We want to show that no matter where or how you started, you just have to work hard until you get a step closer."
Everyone begins to see why they dressed in everyday clothing, which represents their beginning as someone with a dream, and why they are on stage is a step forward. People watching and listening to the explanation couldn't find anything wrong with it since it was a pure thought that only people with pure intentions could achieve and demonstrate to others. That is something they can't help but appreciate Haneul and her crew for.
"The song Doom Dada is about being the best, guiding the juniors to the top, and bringing down the enemies or doubters, and the person who fits that image is our noona, Haneul-ssi. She's the best because she guided us through everything, the other trainees can vouch for that, and she's never doubted us and our talents, in fact, she brought out our charms and capabilities, which we are thankful for." While flushing, a male trainee, a year Haneul's junior, explained.
Because he's normally silent, Haneul flushed as well at her junior's abrupt explanation. "I-" Haneul was cut off, she couldn't say anything. "You're precisely right! Haneul-ssi is the finest!" cries a fan in the crowd, prompting everyone else to join in, roaring their support for her. Dong Wook smiled, and the rest of the trainees agreed. People watching from behind the television couldn't help but giggle as they gazed at a perplexed Haneul, a sweetie in their eyes, especially for those who had fallen for her.
"Well, it's an unexpected response because it's the first time we've heard it. Isn't that so, folks? Now, let us see their performance!" Dong Wook exclaims as he walks away from the stage, his face warmed from seeing Haneul's cute reaction. After Haneul jokingly flicked her junior's forehead in response to his explanation, Haneul and her team resumed to their respective positions. People witnessing the situation could see how lovely their interaction was, which made them fall even more for Haneul and her team.
Haneul looks at her fellow members, then the audience, and finally the camera. The camera pans around the room, revealing each member's charms one by one. As the song began, Haneul encouraged her teammates to give their finest winks. On cue, the camera landed on Haneul, who winked and said "Doom da da divi da da" over and again.
As a result, the atmosphere on stage became intense as everyone anticipated what Haneul's crew would show them. Haneul began rapping her lines when she finished reciting the phrases, creating the tone with her deep, appealing voice. The next rapper arrived and they began dancing to their choreography, while the next member began rapping.
The audience, trainees, personnel, and those watching from behind the television were all fascinated by the show. It is now widely regarded as one of the country's greatest performances. Haneul and her band were having a good time on stage, unaware that they would become one of the most sought topics on the country's search engines.
When their performance came to a close, the audience erupted in ovation. The performance amazed everyone. Haneul and her teammates exchanged hugs and expressed their happiness over their performance. "Well, isn't that one of the greatest performances we've seen so far?" Dong Wook says as he returns to the stage, his face filled with admiration. Everyone had a good response, which was screamed out loud. Haneul's team walked to the room to get the results after exchanging comments. They were holding hands, pondering the outcome or rank they could receive.
The results were in, and Haneul came out on top, which she was grateful for, while the others received theirs. Each of them received more votes than they expected. They were also grateful for those who voted for them, as seen by their expressions.
Dong Wook concludes his words in the show, and the shoot comes to a close. After cheering for their favorite trainees, the audience began to gently leave the area. Dong Wook remained on stage until the audience had left the venue completely, at which point the trainees were led to the area where the audience had been previously and stood with their teams.
"You've all assembled here for a very critical cause."
