"We are testing the land to test its fertility and other Kingdoms. In all, seven should do" Simon say and Thaddeus nod slowly.
"And why does three month have to be the length of your stay in this land if it's just land testing?" He asks and all the guys bites their lips but Ephesus answers like he never even gave a thought to what next would be heard.
"Because the testing chemicals and solid need to be absorbed by the ground for us to take part of it when the area affected is well enough good for the testing and then we test with the sun... " he explains
"And why do this land testing takes place?" Diane ask, wanting to embarrass this guy.
"It takes place because of the curiousity of most Kings to know why other neighbouring kingdoms are attacking them or to know if the land will produce good food" he say again and Diane gawked for a very short period of time.
"I see. Do you have any plans on marrying my daughter too?" Luke asks and Ephesus froze.
All eyes on him now as he nearly gave up the ghost cause of their stares.
He turns cold all of a sudden, offering a prayer in his heart as he felt the upcoming nervousness fill him. Diane isn't looking so why is he so shaky?

"What if both of you fall for each other during these three months? Or maybe the week?" Andrew asks and both Diane and Ephesus turn to look at each other and quickly turn the opposite directions.
The Royal family smiled broadly. Maybe they are even falling for each other now.
But keep it in mind that Ephesus said no. It's Andrew that asked this question. Not King Luke, so to King Luke, Ephesus is not in his list.

"We can tell the both of you are already" Thaddeus say and Diane used her palm to cover her face and mouthed to him;

When Diane uncover her face, she turn to Samuel only to realize a pair of cute looking eyes staring at her from beside Samuel.
She stare and faintly smile before staring at her plate. Ephesus tried hard to keep his mouth shut. This Prince thingy is taking a toll on him.
"Like I told you, Diane will be the one guarding you throughout the Kingdom, introducing all of you to the important places in Azariah. Especially the land testers. Maybe everyday in the maximum of four hours or three but it must be more than two"
Diane grip on her fork tightened. Is he trying to say she's an usher now? To usher these men into Azariah and now showing them around? What is wrong with Azariah anyway?

Diane smiles at this. She's goin to make this Sam ass suffer.
"A walk will do for today. By tomorrow, eight am sharp, we shall heading out to the open fields" She sat straight and then her head is up high now.
"But in the meantime, I'll like all of you to be aware that I am not just a Princess that my Father raised. I am a little edgy most times and since Princy Samuel came just like that to ask for someone hand in marriage that he is not so sure if they will go well in the life together... " Ephesus covered his mouth and Miles looked down at his hands and twitched his mouth, holding back his laughter.
Samuel felt his eyes go red. What is with this girl and embarrassment?
"I know we won't marry but I have to let you know that there is no such Kingdom as Harun, when you're lying look for a Kingdom that exists in order to grab the attention of the Princess"
Everyone settled their eyes on Samuel as he stared at this Princess in shock. How does she know he made it up?
"What? I made a research just as I led you to your room. Say something to defend your word of Harun existence"
Samuel chewed his lip, just admiring the boldness and wisdom of this beautiful girl. But all that grew in him was the feeling to roughly kiss her and do whatever he wants with her before dumping her again and go look around for some other ladies or Princess to take care of.

The dining hall is as quiet as the graveyard, not even a pin dropped and if it does, it can be heard all throughout the dining hall.
"What Kingdom are you ruling, Samuel?" Thaddeus ask, his handsome and manly voice spread in the room as they all stare at Samuel.
Go ahead punk, say what you can and leave the rest for God - Diane thought mockingly.
But Samuel is a fast thinker. He quickly made another lie up.
"Harun is an abbreviation for Harunio Empire"
"Emperor Harns don't have a son" Andrew said and they all stare at him again.
Besides, the Harunio Empire's first Princess is happily married to Andrew. Why on earth does this Prince thinks their fools?
Plus, the lies isn't impressing. He isn't doing anything to get the Princess.

Samuel stare at her as she leaves the room in anger.
Even Xelilah and the rest can see a reason why she won't marry this man. He have no true tongue. He lies and waits for the King to cover up for him. That is unexpectant of a handsome young Prince, like him.
Ephesus stare at Samuel for a long time and then his eyes went to Thaddeus who also stare. But getting uncomfortable, Ephesus broke the eye contact by staring at his food and Thaddeus had a rough feeling in him.
Even the way he holds his fork shows Royalty.
