Carnage.
That was Jason's first thought when he arrived. Bodies either ripped or bitten in half littered the street. Blood painted the street red while organs were spaced around like halloween decorations.
In the center of all this, a large reddish orange creature stood as a human leg hung from its mouth. Its small yellow eyes instantly locked onto him as its large muscle body sprung into action. With arms thicker than a tree, it easily shredded a nearby car with its claws while sending the torn vehicle into a nearby building.
'This thing is pretty fast.' Jason thought as ducked below as the creature made a wide swipe of its claws. 'I guess it would have to be if it can easily kill an average viltrumite.'
While he wanted to know how his defense would hold up against the beast. Jason didn't really want to test it as he faced a deafen roar straight to his face. Its large and blood coated teeth were mere inches from him as it tried to snap down on his head.
Reacting as fast, he quickly relied on his reflexes and leaned out of the way before planting his feet. In a swift and near fluid motion as the ground cracked under his feet, he gave the creature a solid punch to its head.
With a follow up, Jason went on the offense as he began to hit harder and faster. Unable to defend from the unexpected might and speed, Jason watched as the Rognarr roared in anger. Something that didn't last long as Jason closed it mouth with a solid uppercut.
In a final burst with a large hole forming below, Jason sent the creature into the sky with half its jaw barely hanging on. Following as he vanished, the entire fight only took but a few seconds at most.
--
Appearing in the clearing where the Rognarr landed, Jason approached where he saw it covered in its own blood. Still alive and wanting to fight despite its lower jaw being unhinged and injuries. Jason was about to put it down for the count when a large metal ship appeared in the sky.
Opening a hatch, a small herd of about ten more Rognarrs fell out. Each with cruelty filling their eyes. As they landed next to him, they instantly went on the attack.
Like a slippery snake, Jason escaped the encasement before taking a deep breath. In a soul chilling gust, he turned the small forest they were in pure white and blue as the eleven rognarrs froze. Once they were taken care of, his attention turned up to the large ship.
Frowning as he thought of a way to deal with it since they sent out rognarrs. The ship wasn't friendly and he doubted they would peacefully leave. There also wasn't anything special about Earth as far as he was concerned.
'The only useful thing I can think of would be the tesseract. Yet I doubt it's what they were after.' Jason thought as the doors opened once more on the ship.
In a swarm, lizards like men and women jumped out covered in armor and small jet boosters on their feet and backs. In their hands weapons were various weapons from guns to swords and spears.
Taking a small hit to the chest as a laser shot hit him, Jason watched as a hole appeared in his shirt revealing his unblemished skin underneath.
'So their weapons have passed Earth's level yet not powerful enough to hurt a kryptonian.' Jason thought as he decided to end this soon.
In a burst of speed that made it seem like he was teleporting, Jason quickly appeared and vanished, knocking out the legion. As the lizard men unconscious bodies began to hit the ground without a chance to react. Most attempted to predict where he would appear while a few attempted to run away.
Within minutes, Jason floated above the sea of unconscious bodies and glared up at the ship. He was still unsure what to do with it. If he allowed it to leave, it would only return with a larger fleet. On the other hand though, if he crashed it, who knows what would happen when humans got their hands on it.
"I guess I will lightly break it and leave it on the moon for Zastin to take care of it. The man seemed like he needed something to do." Jason pumped himself up before shooting off into the sky.
--
Returning to the lab after nearly twenty minutes away. Jason reappeared with his clothes covered in dirt and a few holes. He found Lala unfocused as she played chess with Peke and was losing badly.
"It's fine now. Why? For I am here."
Standing with a smile as he flashed a peace sign, Lala jumped up and hugged him. Not letting go, Jason felt his clothes slightly dampen.
"Yes you're here." Lala whispered.
"Of course, they were not very strong truth be told." Jason replied honestly.
"Only you can say that. It usually takes nearly twenty average deviluke soldiers to handle one and only a quarter survives." Lala answered in a small whisper.
Rubbing her back in order to comfort her, Jason just gave her a huge smile. A smile he hoped would lessen her worries. "Have no fear as I will always be here."
"Cheesy line, but I like it." Peke gave him a thumbs up.

While Jason returned and got cleaned up. The media was in a frenzy as it tried to dig up facts about what happened. From the dinosaurs returning to alien invasion, many theories sprung forth. Within an hour and a heavy edit clip blurring out all the blood and gore. The news almost on a repeat kept showing off the Rognarr and a blur. All asking who or what could the blur be and where did it vanish too alongside the monster.
In the helicarrier, Nick Fury was watching the clips. Due to the advance technology and a few talented agents. They managed to slow the clip down enough and get a semi clear image of the blur.
"Who is this boy?" He commanded the crew.
"We don't know. We are currently running through the database but yet to turn up anything." One agent replied.
Moments after he said this, the screens began to go haywire before a pair of bat-like wings appeared on the screen. After a few moments it vanished leaving behind a single sentence, 'Do not bother looking for Master or else.'
Slamming his fist on the railing, Nick Fury hated questions he didn't have answers too. Now he has a big one and that was how one could break into their systems so easily.
"We must have a mole." he whispered softly to himself.
