"Oh! You're finally awake." A beautiful woman with smooth purple hair, standing near a traditional Chinese stove, said.
"Huh?" Xin Feng, who was still half asleep asked in confusion.
He was even more confused when he saw the unknown woman in an unknown building.
Trying to remember the last thing he saw, he asked, "Are you the one who kidnapped me while I was paralyzed?"
*Pff! The woman spat out the tea she was drinking.
"How ungrateful! I saved you from the hands of your sister, and you see me as a kidnapper?! If it wasn't for you being my master's child, I wouldn't have even bothered creating such a scene. Hmph!"
"Sister?"
When the woman heard his unusual question, her body became still. She was a bit confused, uncertain, and certainly afraid of the question he had just asked.
"Do you mean the young mistress?" Xin Feng continued with his questions that concerned the miss.
A cup of porcelain was suddenly heard breaking. The woman forced a smile and said, "Stop joking around Xin Feng, your mother is going to be angry if she hears how you're acting nowadays."
She simply said this, because she knew that his mother was a sensitive subject to him.
When she didn't see any change of expression however, she realized that her fears were true. Tears suddenly fell from her eyes as she came to this realization. Her Qi started spilling out as the air was starting to get heavier…
"Miss, are you-?"
"That insolent wench! She's gone too far!!"
The woman immediately barged out of the room, and headed towards the mountain where Xin Ling stayed at. Xin Ling, the little sister of Xin Feng…
*Sigh* 'Only by doing this will I get more information about this world…' Xin Feng thought, as he looked outside through the open windows.
'I'm glad the memory loss excuse worked. I don't remember anything about this body's life, after all…'
'I should cultivate to heal faster…' Xin Feng decided to cultivate to let the ointment on his body do its job more effectively. He knew how much of a great effect his cultivation talent has with any kind of good source of spiritual energy around him, after all…
Within an hour, he finished absorbing the spiritual energy from the ointment on his body.
'Not enough…'
'Oh, the jar of ointment is actually here.' He thought in surprise when he saw an abundance of ointment right beside him.
*Sigh* 'That woman actually took her time to take care of me…'
'I should thank her later.'
'F*ck, my body!' He thought when he tried to grab the ointment.
'Didn't I get the pain tolerance skill?' He thought before entering his skill section.
***
[Pain tolerance]
*The talent to tolerate any pain that is far not enough to kill the Character.

'So hypothetically, based on the system's way of calculating, I am close to death right now.'
'Alright! Exit.'
...
With a little bit of effort, Xin Feng had finally smeared a new layer of ointment on his body. Since he had the resources to experiment, he tried to place the ointment on the bandages instead of his skin. Surprisingly, it worked.
After a few more experiments, he finally confirmed his theory. The result was, that he indeed only needed the cultivation resources to be close to him. The closer it was to his body, the better the connection. It was similar to the actual Eastern fantasy cultivation.
'Hm… Is it then possible for me to absorb the Qi from the heaven and earth?'
'Interesting…'
After one or two hours, Xin Feng had absorbed enough of the ointment's spiritual energy to completely recover.
'I wonder why that woman is taking such a while… I'm begining to feel bored, doing nothing.'
*Sigh* 'Let me check if she has special feces.' Nothing to do, he decided to leave the room.
Xin Feng is currently at the third floor of the building that he is in. He was staying in some sort of hotel.
The third or the last floor contain rooms like the one that he is in, which is a room designed for guests. The second floor was some relaxing spot, obvious for Xin Feng to assume since the room had art works, souvenirs, and a nice balcony. As for the first floor…
"Greetings Mister Xin. Do you need any assistance?" A lady who wore some sort of white dress with brown edges that covered her arms and legs completely, asked after Xin Feng had descended the stairs to the first floor.
When Xin Feng heard the woman's question, he walked towards the desk, and proceeded to ask her a few questions.
"Do you have any tamed beasts located near?" Was his first question
The woman who flinched in surprise from his unusual question, corrected her stature before she replied, "Not really. But if you're wondering, miss Liu does have her very own beast mount. Unfortunately, she left a few hours ago with it."
"Do you mean the woman with purple hair?"
"Yes, the woman that brought you in. Aren't you her master's supposed son?" She asked in confusion.
"Ah, yes. Pardon me, my mind is not too clear yet." Xin Feng replied in an embarrassed tone while he scratched his head.
"Ah, I see." She replied with a bright smile and a tone of comprehension.
In the end, they were both staring at each other awkwardly.
Xin Feng who finally came up with an idea quickly asked, "What does miss Liu do with the feces of her beast mount?"
"Hm… I'm not too sure about that. You can ask the person who takes care of her beast's stall. If you exit this building, and head straight towards the only mansion, you'll find a person taking care of the garden. He's the one you're looking for.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
...
Finding the mansion wasn't too difficult for Xin Feng, since it was truly the biggest building on the mountain that he was currently at.
The mansion which had a traditional red roof, was made from white brick and fiery brown type of oak wood. The black colored mortar that was used fit the color of the bricks very well, and the combination of bright thick green vines that decorated the walls gave the mansion a peaceful vibe. The vines blossomed beautiful pink flowers that looked like Lilies, which made the mansion even more beautiful.
When Xin Feng passed through the wide gate of the mansion, he found himself in a four-leg intersection path that had a fancy well in the middle of the intersection's circle.
On the sides of the path were flower beds with tulips, hyacinths and other beautiful flowers.
Taking a deep breath to enjoy the fresh scent, he scurried the beautiful sight, before he spotted a man gently trimming the grasses that grew near the flowers.
"Hello there. My name is Xin Feng." He spoke as he approached the gardener.
"Oh, you must be the good friend that miss Liu brought to the inn a few days ago. Good to see you already well so soon. Do you need anything, perhaps?"
"Well then, pardon me, but can you guide me to miss Liu's beast stall."
"Sure."
The two took the right path of the intersection, before arriving at a sidewalk of the mansion. Right in front of the path that Xin Feng just came from, was a giant doorway. In front of the doorway, Xin Feng glanced at the faint view inside the stall, and the carvings of dragons that were made on the pillars beside the sidewalk and on the top of the doorway.
Enjoying the majesty of the place, Xin Feng released a huge sigh.
"Breathtaking, isn't it?" The gardener mentioned.
"Indeed. Indeed, it is." Xin Feng muttered in awe, before entering the stall.
Inside the hall there were different sizes of rocks placed neatly, which made it into a nice rocky environment. There were also nice cascades on the walls that poured its water into an artificial pond which had purple lotuses and Koi fishes.
"Isn't this a bit too absurd?" Xin Feng questioned in awe and confusion.
"Haha! You know what they say ~ Nature is as beautiful as a woman, and for miss Liu, such beauty perfectly describes her nature."
"Is that even…?" *Sigh* "Anyway, where is the beast's feces stored?"
"Oh, follow me. It's right behind these rocks." The man said as he gestured towards the spot. It was actually a small grass field that had hay and a few bushes.
"Even privacy huh?"
"Haha, that's just how miss Liu is." The man replied, embarrassed.
"Hm... So that's why there are windows over here."
"Alright, thank you for guiding me here. I'll be studying these feces over here, goodbye." Xin Feng said with a smile, and bowed slightly right after.
The man wanted to say something at first, but ignored it, and simply bowed back before leaving.
"Call me if you need anything, okay." The man added, before he left.
"Sure thing..."
