The two of us wandered east through the trees until we came to the river. As she reached the bank Feleshia dove straight into the water and began to swim to the other side. Me on the other hand preferred not to get wet, so I walked atop the water to the other side. Feleshia stared in amazement as she had reached the opposite side. We continued on into the web covered dark wood, as we talked about my life and how I came to be. I told her the origin of my name, and my days in the Falmon arenas. She told of how human parties would come into the dark elf land during daylight while the elves were asleep, and kill giant arachnids from their spider silk farms. "Why doesn't the dark elves keep watch during the day?", I asked curiously. "Because dark elves are allergic to the sun.", Feleshia responded. We walked and walked until we came to a large hole in the ground. "Down there is were we can farm experience and grow in strength. The monsters that inhabit the underground are high in level, but most of them don't come above.", Feleshia told me as we began to descend. As we reached the bottom of the cavern I heard the soothing robotic like voice say, "party invite received! Would you like to form a party with Feleshia the dark elf?". "Accept invite.", i said as Feleshia began to lower herself on all fours. Her body began to take on her bear form. Within a few seconds she had changed back to the creature I had saw before. We entered in a large stalactite filled room, with holes burrowed into the walls. "Prepare yourself for battle Dracul Bloodfiend.", I heard Feleshia mutter as she took a defensive stance. "I will draw their attention while you focus on damage.", she said as the sounds of snakes hissing rang into my ears.
A group of twelve stone cobras, came slithering out of the walls, each one was level twenty six. A smile crossed my face as my claws emerged out replacing my human like hands. Feleshia let out a loud growl and ever snake faced her direction. I couldn't let them attack her she would be struck down very quickly. As the snakes rapidly gained ground I began my assault. Spears of blood flew through the the cavern, piercing three of the snakes opened mouths. With the spears sticking through the back of their heads they crashed to the ground. As Feleshia began to engage the lead cobra a crimson magic circle formed at my mouth, and six more cobra were completely destroyed. I made quick work of two more snakes with shadow stepping to the back of their necks slicing their heads open. I turned to face the final for that Feleshia had engaged with. To my surprise the snake was dead, mangled with deep claw marks from its head down to the middle of its ten foot body. I checked her health and noticed her level had risen up to twenty four. She rushed past me with excitement in her eyes as she said, "let's keep going.".
We continued on farther back into the carvers killing snakes in droves, Feleshia's health slowly began to fade away the more and more we battled. I'm not sure where she pulled it out from, but Feleshia began to scarf down some sort of plant that she had placed on the ground in front of herself. Half, three quarter, then back to full health. With a pure joyous tone and a big bear smile, she once more blew past me, heading farther inside. "Keep up Dracul!", she shouted as she passed by. From having so much fun absolutely slaughtering the snakes I lost count of how many we had killed. Feleshia's level was now up to twenty six and mine was up to thirty five. We took a break as Feleshia drug one of the snakes over and started to eat it. "Are you hungry?", she asked as she took a large bite out of the snakes long body. "No i am fine I had a decent meal just the other day. I should get hungry for at least two more days, but thank you for the offer.". "More for me then!", Feleshia said as she buried her bear face into the pile of meat. "I don't think I've ever heard of any dark elf leveling up this much in one day. It would take a full party days to take on this many snakes. What do you think is at the back of the cavern?", she asked as she slurped down the last bit of a brown snakes tail. "I am not for sure what is in here, but if we keep leveling up at this rate we can take on the whole village across the river very soon.", I said with a devilish grin. "The humans are more intelligent than these snakes Dracul. They use teamwork to bolster their strengths and defenses. Fighting a group of humans is not an easy task.", she said as she rose up from her meal. "Well then we better keep going then.", I replied and Feleshia nodded in agreement. It wasn't a far walk to the back wall of the cavern. A much larger hole was carved out in the wall. Whatever was inside was much bigger than the snakes we had been fighting for sure. As a pair we walked into the room side by side. Feleshia paused as we entered a room nearly fifty yards long and the same wide. I had no fear as I knew I couldn't die, however it wasn't quite the same for her. Her eyes grew wide and the words "this might not be a good idea", fell from her lips. Before I could respond I felt the eyes of something on me, a moment everybody gets when they know they are being watched. I was sure she had the same feeling, but her instincts were to stay alive. My instincts on the other hand was to pulverize anything that threatens me.
