The next morning, Aron headed out for Seattle Kindred Hospital. He had left a note for Evelyn, reminding her to get to school on time and explaining that he was going to check on his mother.
As Aron left the house, he put on a scarf. Though it would seem awkward for a grown man to be wearing a rose colored scarf, it was less attention seeking than his newly beautiful face being out in the open.
Still, as he strolled outside, many office workers saw and gasped at his looks. He wished they would just head to their office instead of staring at him and being late to work. He joked to himself. What reason would the workers give to their superiors for being late to their job? Staring at a handsome man's face?
He chuckled, and at that exact moment, he received a phone call. The Caller ID was unknown. He quickly picked up the phone and stepped into a clothing shop, trying not to block traffic and attract any more attention.
"Hello. Is this Aron Winters?"
"Yes, I am Aron Winters. Who is speaking?"
"I am calling from the All Stars Guild. May I have some of your time?"
When the call ended and Aron exited the clothing shop, Aron was so happy that he almost dropped his phone. He couldn't believe that he had just gotten an offer for a contract by the second highest ranked guild in America. Aron pinched himself to check he wasn't dreaming.
"Ahh!"
Aron yelped in pain. Realizing he wasn't dreaming, Aron skipped the rest of the way to the hospital with a huge smile plastered on his face. Now, he had another good news to give to his mother. Many people gazed at him, seeing his strange behavior. However, Aron didn't care, he had just received an offer from one of the best guilds in the world.
Aron added another thing to his schedule; meeting an employee from the All Stars Guild at 11 AM in order to discuss details about his contract.
The whole way to the hospital, Aron pondered whether or not to wear formal clothing for his meeting with the guild. By the time he reached Seattle Kindred Hospital, he decided to keep the casual clothes he was wearing, since the meeting would take place in Coffee Express, a public location, and he didn't have enough time to change after leaving the hospital.
Aron, then, cheerfully opened the hospital doors.
