As soon as Aron entered, he was greeted by the stares of the numerous people inside the hospital. Many started gossiping about his beauty, and young nurses tried to show off their bodies. However, Aron pretended not to notice.
He immediately went to the front desk and handed the receptionist his ID to verify his identity in order to meet his mother. The receptionist blushed as she reached for the card and her hand brushed off his fingers. Aron quickly looked away, however, his ears were also red. After all, he didn't have any experience being with girls other than his sister.
The whole time during the verification process, the receptionist didn't even glance at his ID and kept staring at his face. This made Aron even more embarrassed. When the receptionist finally returned his ID, Aron briskly walked to his mother's ward. He noticed that the receptionist had somehow slipped her phone number with the ID. Aron quickly threw it away in the trash can and hurried even more quickly to his mother's room.
Like always, the room was empty, except for the bed his mother was laying on and the dust along with the cob webs located all around the room. Aron cursed at the hospital staff for not keeping the room clean, just because he wasn't rich. He vowed that once he got a contract with All Stars, the first thing he would do is shift his mother into a better hospital
Aron looked at his mother. His anger surged as he thought about the miasma emitted from the Cataclysm which led to his mother falling in coma. The evil monsters had taken both his parents. His will to eradicate all the monsters around the world grew even stronger. With my newly found powers, I will make those monsters beg for mercy he thought.
Aron sat down next to his mother, held her hand, and began recounting the events that took place the past few days. Although she was in a coma, he hoped she could still hear his tale and feel his emotions. As he was talking to his mother, he couldn't help but notice the air of elegance his mother exuded, even in a coma. Her silky hair and her dainty face gave her the aura of a princess. Her eyes were closed, but her long eyelashes kept attracting his gaze. Although his mother was the same age as his landlady, they were worlds apart. It was clearly apparent who Evelyn got her beautiful appearance from.
When Aron finished talking to his mother, he walked out of the hospital. Again, the people gazed at him, however, he paid no heed. He was too nervous about discussing the details of his contracts with All Stars. But, he was also excited.
"This will be my first step to a better life!"
