Chapter 1 - Prologue

Sometimes, Erica truly wished she could have be born just like any other normal human being. With a normal family, a normal life, and normal person.

If she could physically discard her old life into the deepest part of the ocean, she would without any hesitation. She had learnt that less than five percent of the ocean has been discovered. Which means she could have left her past life in the remaining ninety-five percent of the ocean. She desperately wants a new life. She needs it.

No more humiliation. No more nasty complains. Most importantly, no more trusting. She had enough of those in her life. From now on, there will be no existence of Erica Carter. Elsa Tilden will be her new identity. No stranger will ever need to know her past, her real self.

Olivia Rooney and her buddies seemed to be enjoying themselves with their last few weeks of summer vacation. Having a trip to Mexico seemed awesome at first glance, but nothing about their trip was awesome. None of them went to research prior to their short vacation, other than Olivia—who once lived in Mexico.

Their worst nightmare came when the trio had lost their way in the middle of a foreign city. Asking directions was a no brainer, but with their limited knowledge of Spanish, they could only understand the few words of "Hello" , "Thank you" and "Good bye".

So there they were, stranded in the crowded Mexico train station on their last day in the city. Still struggling to the weird sense of directory, they encounter a situation, something... or rather someone... that might change their lives forever.
