Aaron flicked his head back, so that Ray wasn't able to grab his mask, and kept his head in the air for a second. He tilted his head back down towards Ray, as a face of anger appeared the mask.
"Hey! What was that for?!" Aaron yelled, his voice being pitched up and down like mad. He was angry that Ray had tried to pull his mask off. He didn't think that Ray was the type of person to do that, but he appeared to be wrong.
"Hey, I was just curious! You've had that mask on all day, and we don't know what you actually sound like! You're an enigma! I was wondering what you sounded like, so I tried to pull your mask off, to see what you looked like, and hopefully hear what you sound like." Ray responded, slightly angry that he couldn't take the mask off of Aaron, but he did realise that Aaron was really sensitive about the mask. There must have been a good reason for it.
"Well, curiosity does take over people, but I do ask that you never do that again. It's of my own desire and need to wear this mask, so I do." Aaron explained, and then realised the mistake he had made in his sentence. "Wait, not need-"
"You NEED to wear that mask? Why? Why do you need to wear that mask?" Ray asked, leaning closer towards Aaron, his curiosity increasing.
'Shit! I accidentally said need! Now he's not going to stop trying to get the mask, is he?' Aaron internally screamed. He had made a mistake. He just hoped that it wouldn't be what caused his mask to be removed.
"What I wear is my own personal choice, alright? Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to meditate. Don't think for a second that you'll be able to take the mask."
And with that, Aaron closed his eyes, lifting his body around a millimetre off of his bed using his Boundless Gravitational Manipulation to complete the little quest he was given, while he began to talk to his system, using his mind.
'System, how would I deal with this situation?'
[Kill him. That's the simplest way about it.]
'I can't murder someone over just this. And plus, there's another person. If I'm the only survive of a killing in this room, I'll be the prime subject, and then bad things will happen. It'd defeat the whole point of me even travelling to this world.'
[Well, then you should probably just wait out this whole situation. He'll get used to seeing your outfit in time, and will, hopefully, stop asking questions about it.]
[Also, you might want to open your eyes.]
Aaron opened his eyes, and saw a blade of metal slowly sliding down from above his vision. He grabbed the blade, and pulled it upwards. The blade was trying going to try flick the mask off of his face.
"Nice try. You aren't getting the mask off of me. Not even you, other dormmate." Aaron said, as he made sure that the mask was secured to his face.
"Well, aren't you a perceptive one? I didn't think you'd notice the tip of the blade there. Congrats." The black haired fellow replied. The beds were arranged like a square missing a side. Aaron's bed was on the left, Ray had the bed on the right, and the other roommate had taken the last bed, or the bed at the top.
"My name is Crystet Artemi. I come from the well-known Artemi family. As such, I am quite proficient with any form of melee weapon. My Ki element is Ice, and I got a power score of 13,612." Crystet said, smiling slightly.
"Jesus. That's an A-Rank, isn't it?" Aaron replied, having quite the surprised look under his mask. He didn't expect a person to get an A-Rank in first year. His score looked pitiful compared to it, but he didn't use Ki, so it was understandable why he was weaker.
"That's correct. Introduce yourself, other roommate." Crystet answered, as he pointed his blade towards Ray.
"Alright then. I am Ray Cast, a member of the semi-famous Cast family. I control electricity, and got a power score of 6,378!" Ray said, smiling. He was proud of his score.
'So, just below the end of C-Rank, huh? Well, it 8snt as impressive as Crystet, but he's still insanely strong in his own right.
"Now, introduce yourself, masked roommate." Crystet commanded, pointing his sword, which, at closer inspection, appeared to be an 80 centimetre long katana, at Aaron. Aaron took a deep breath in, before giving his answer.
"My name is Aaron Stone, from the Stone family. I control no recognised Ki Element, and got a power score of 1,502." Aaron stated, keeping the important information to himself.
"What do you mean, 'Recognised Ki Element'?" Ray asked, getting even more curious about Aaron.
"Let me tell you what I mean." Aaron replied. "I mean that I control an unknown variant of Ki. Only I know how to use it, and only I can manipulate it. That's the simplest explanation."
"So, you basically have a whole branch of Ki all to yourself?! What the hell?! That's unheard of! Why don't you show a Ki Signature though?" Ray responded, as his mind began to come up with complex ideas and theories.
"It's also why I don't show a Ki Signature. Your Ki, and everyone else's Ki, is of one type, while mine is of another." Aaron said, covering up his Mana Usage by saying it was a whole different Ki Type. Quick thinking.
[You're welcome.]
Yes, the system had given him that idea. He had a quick conversation with it while the other two were introducing themselves, and it had suggested an idea to him, and he just elaborated on it.
"Well, now we know why you are in this school. Your Ki is of a different branch. It's a good enough reason for me. Now, I'm going to go look around and check to see if there is something fun we can do. Either of you want to join?" Ray asked, as he began to stand up from his bed.
"Alright. As long as I can carry some form of self defence tool with me." Crystet replied, as he slid his sword back into its sheath, which was on his waist, and stood up.
Aaron stopped his unnoticeable floating, and jumped off of the bed. "Sure. I'm bored, so this'll be a fun little way to pass the time."
A smile spread across Aaron's face. He wondered if they'd stop by the little arena they had in the school. A little duel seemed like fun.
