'System, explain to me what this "Hidden Quest" feature is.' Aaron thought, directing his thought to the System that lay in his mind.
[The feature you want to know about speaks for itself. They are quests that are always active, but you can't look at them, and give much better than normal rewards. You got crafting recipes from that, which would have needed you to level up your power level to well over four thousand to unlock. You've completely bypassed a power requirement, which I do commend you for, but now makes the power level requirement useless, so I'll fix that later.]
'Alright, thanks for the explanation, but tell me, how did you know his name?'
[Well, I know the names of everyone here, I just won't say them. It would defeat the whole purpose of not being lazy, which is like the Boundless Life and Death scenario, which you didn't want.]
'Well, thanks for taking my personal ideals into account, system. Now, what would you suggest I do in this scenario?'
[With your current mindset, I would say you might want to go check up on your dormmates. One seems injured, and the other one requires a bed so that he can awaken from his unconsciousness.]
Aaron nodded internally, and rushed up to Crystet, who was currently lying on the ground, trying to break the ice that was stabbed in his shoulder, so that nobody could grab onto it.
"Crystet, are you alright?" Aaron said, as he put worry into his voice. "No, I'm absolutely fine. What do you think?! I have a large hole in my shoulder because of that icy bastard you hit!" Was the response that Crystet gave him.
"Alright, alright, I get your point. How about you calm down, and get onto your feet, so that you can help me carry Ray to our room?" Aaron suggested. Crystet sighed, as he began to stand up, using his hand as a form of spring.
He successfully got to his feet, and began to lift Ray up, as his shoulder leaked a bit of blood from the wound. He rapped Ray's arms around his shoulders, and began to walk out of the arena, like he was giving Ray a piggyback, except for the fact he was letting Ray's legs drag along the floor, which didn't really matter in this situation. It was better than leaving him in the arena.
Aaron walked slightly ahead of Crystet, making sure that nobody would see them, just in case they thought that they had attacked Ray, because people were irrational like that. He walk walking one millimetre off of the ground as he did so, as he completed his daily quest.
[Daily Quest Completed]
[Practice With Abilities]
[Reward: Ten Stat Points]
'Yeah, I'll use those later. It doesn't matter to me right now though.' Aaron thought to himself. He would use them later, simply because then he'd have some privacy to test things out with.
Aaron and Crystet walked into the common room, and, unsurprisingly, there were people there, who began to crowd them, asking what happened, asking if there was a fight, but Aaron wasn't bothered to asnswer them, so he activated Boundless Telekinesis, and created a Physical Telekinetic Sound Barriwr, or PTSB, which both pushed them away and nullified their noises, as it created a dome around them. They continued walking, and got to their dorm door. Aaron opened it up, turned off the barrier, and rushed Crystet and himself inside so that none of the other students could get in.
Crystet laid Ray on his bed, as he looked down at the robed Aaron. "So, we just have to wait until he wakes up?" Crystet asked him. "Pretty much, Crystet." Aaron replied.
Crystet sat on his own bed, as he held his sheathed sword in his hand. He unsheathed it, and cut off the ice that was sticking out. It was annoying him, and plus, should someone grab onto it, It would pull his full body down with him, and that was just to his disadvantage.
Aaron smiled beneath his mask. It was like when you were shot with a bow or crossbow, you break off the wood, but don't pull it out, as you'd bleed.
"Hey, Aaron." Crystet said, in a quiet voice. "Yeah, Crystet?" Aaron replied, not thinking anything. "Why did he attack us? He mentioned something about you being a freak, and it is such a strange insult that it would just be relevant to your strength, and, given your mask and robes, it makes you seem afraid to reveal yourself. He was mad at you enough to involve me and Ray, so, please, tell me, what makes him angry enough at you to do that?" Crystet questioned him, seemingly sad, but at the same time angry, although Aaron wasn't able to pinpoint at what. He sighed, and said something he might regret.
"Listen. He's mad because I traumatised him the day he tried to attack me and my parents. Something happened that day, and now, I am a freak to him." Aaron admitted.
"So, you look scary enough to traumatise him, and something happened...that day...and yesterday, a black and pink light...appeared in the sky....." Crystet said, as he began to piece together pieces of the puzzle.
"Were you the one who caused that insane light to light the sky?!" He yelled at Aaron, not in anger, but in utter shock. Aaron pointed his head towards the ground, as he gave his answer.
"Yes. That was the day, yesterday, when I traumatised Jacob, and created that light, which, when he saw what had happened to me, had scared him, and caused him to run away in fear. The reason why I wear the mask is because I don't want anyone else to be scared. It would make things much harder than they needed to be." Aaron answered. "Let me guess, you want to see what I look like under the mask, right?"
Crystet took a deep breath in, as he began to give his answer.
"I..."
And then, Ray woke up, which took priority, absolutely ruining this moment.
"Hey guys! What did I miss?" He said, somehow having a cheerful voice, despite having just becoming conscious.
