"Mk. G? What the hell does that mean? Where is Mk. III? Let's check them out."
[Skelengel Mk. G]
[The creator of this line got bored with Roman Numerals and decided to use letters instead. It is essentially Skelengel Mk. III but just with a letter instead of a number]
"Oh, that's why. Well, it won't bother me by much."
[Demonic Skelengel]
[A Skelengel that cast away their holiness, all to gain power. They lose their holy wings, in exchange for scaly black wings, as their bones become charred and filled with orange glowing cracks, which produce lava when broken. They gain access to Flame Magic and various other abilities, but they lose the ability to evolve further]
"Well that's a bit shit, isn't it? If I can't evolve further, isn't it pointless to choose that evolution? It appears that Mk. G will be my choice then."
[Skelengel Mk. G has been chosen.]
[Proceed with the evolution?]
[>Yes<]
Aaron's mind went blank, as his consciousness drifted away from his body, leaving his mind floating in an ethereal space.
{Changing System Text}
[Hello, Aaron. How quick ARE you at evolving?]
"Heh. I'm quicker than you would think, Ameratsu. The monsters give quite a lot of Exp, but I am worried about there being an evolution cap at some point in the near future."
[Oh, don't worry about that. I don't think that the person who gave you your evolutions would set a cap for you so early, when you are levelling up like this.]
"Would you mind telling me the maximum amount of times any monster has evolved in the past?"
[Let me check for you right now...]
After about thirty seconds of silence, Ameratsu came back with an answer.
[Alright, so I found out the answer to your question. The monster with the most evolutions was a monster with over one hundred evolutions. He had the special ability to make his own evolution paths. He died by a large horde of monsters attacking him at once.]
"That's an unfortunate way to go. The guy probably didn't even know what hit him."
[Oh no, he knew. He was just overconfident in his own strength and didn't realise that there was such a thing as horde strength.]
"Well, then he was stupid. Although, do you think I would be able to reach such a high amount of evolutions?"
[In all honesty, no. I am unable to imagine how far a skeleton can evolve, but this unknown gifter of the 'Boundless' ability might be able to.]
"So, there's a chance?"
[A small chance. We still don't know yet. It would be a great help if you found out who they are, although don't worry yourself about it yet.]
"Well, that's some task. I'll see if I can, but don't expect any big discoveries in a short amount of time."
[Of course. If this entity can hide their name from me, the god of this planet, then it would take ages for you to just randomly find them.]
{Evolution complete. Aaron is required in his mortal body.}
[Well, that was a quicker chat than normal, wasn't it?]
"Yeah, but hey, I'll be talking to you again very soon. After all, it's only been two or three days and I've evolved three times. Well, see you."
{Return to body?}
{>Yes<} {No}
[Reverting back to normal text...]
Aaron felt his mind slam into his normal body. He regained his sense of movement, as he looked around.
Light was the first thing he saw. Light was this giant white dragon around nine meters tall, with extremely large wings. His face was shoved up against Aaron's helmet. Aaron, reasonably, crawled back a bit, not expecting this.
Yua appeared beside him, surprisingly looking like a demon. Heh, she was one of the more powerful demons. That's a great thing.
[Evolution "Skelengel Mk. G" acquired.]

[Hello, Aaron.]
"Who the fuck are you, and what have you done to my system?!", Aaron yelled to the voice in his head. Yua and Light looked confused, as Aaron was also saying this out loud.
[Oh, I'm the person who gave you your abilities. Don't you think you should be a little more GRATEFUL?]
As as the emphasised 'grateful' rang out through his head, Aaron held his skull in pain. The Painless Body skill wasn't blocking his pain, if it was physical, and Boundless Telekinesis wasn't blocking the pain if it was mental pain.
Yua and Light tried to run over to him, to see what was happening, but his head began to glow a bright golden colour.
Cracks began to appear in his bones, as golden light leaked from them. His body began to jaggedly move backwards and forwards.
[You fool. Your system no longer works of its own accord. I control it. None of your skills will solve you of this pain that I am inflicting. Right now, you are slowly dying, due to this pain.]
{Health: 25,000/36,750}
Aaron wasn't having it. His head hurt too much, and his body was dying before him. He did have his Golden Wind skill, but he didn't know if it would work. For all he knew, this system breaker could have blocked his skill, and was just waiting for him to die.
He couldn't find a way out of this. It seemed hopeless for him. His body began to crack more, as his mind began to pull away from his body. He had given up.
He then realised something, as he smiled inwardly. He was placing all of his hope on a single skill.
"Skelengelica!"
In his mind, a great flash of white sparked, as pain shattered his body.
{Health: 14,000/36,750}
His mind began to shut itself off, as it tried to clear this user out of his head.
[For FUCK sake. You really had to do it, didn't you? Well then, once you find me, I'll kill you, and then kill you again. And again. AND AGAIN! I'll kill you as many times as it fucking takes, just to prove to you that you can't ever beat me!]
And with that, his mind was cleared, but what was the cost?
