" Do you think I should call her now or later 'Ora "? Connor stared at his phone on the coffee table while Aurora read her book. She looked at him, the annoyance in her purple eyes obvious " I don't care Uncle Connor, just let me be ".
Connor sighed as he picked the phone, " You seem to like the book ". Aurora groaned in frustration as she got up with her book, " And you keep making me lose my page ". Connor couldn't help but laugh as he watched her long ten year old legs walk out.
" I think you should call her ", Connor turned to Dallas who was already almost ready for work in his black suit and pink T shirt, " Why are you supporting my decision "? Dallas smirked, doing his cufflinks " You're the VP so you'll be giving a speech as well ".
Connor stayed silent for a few seconds then flew up, " That means Remi's City is going to write my speech, I have to get ready. I have to go to work "! He jumped over the leather sofa and up the stairs " I'll be right back Dallas, don't go anywhere ".
Dallas laughed as he watched him disappear, " At least his willing to work " [ Though for the wrong reasons ] Aurora came back down in a cute sleeveless knee length blue dress which she matched with black high tops.
" What's wrong with Uncle Connor "? Dallas shrugged, collapsing on the couch " He wants to meet his goddess, Remi's City ". Aurora eye's brightened as she held out her book, " Really! The Remi's City is coming to your company "?
Dallas nodded [ Why am I jealous I'm not as wanted as an author? ] " I didn't know you were a fan of hers Aurora ". Aurora nodded, holding up the book in her hand " Absolutely Brother Dallas, this is her newest release ".
Dallas looked at the fabric like hardcover in a shade of light bluish green and the words ECHO written in bold orange across the cover. There was the picture of two sides of a cave as the two people touched the wall as if trying to find the other.
Dallas wasn't much of a book fan but the cover seemed so enticing he felt himself drawn to it, " What's the book about "? Aurora's smile only intensified, " Well, I'm only in the second chapter but from what I've read it's about a princess and a general ".
Dallas nodded, " So what makes you interested in it and do you even understand it "? Aurora nodded proudly, " Of course I do, I stole the kids version from Uncle Connor's room ".
Dallas felt confused, " There's a kids version "? Aurora nodded and opened to the back of the book, " Yeah, there's even a vocabulary list and I can write down my thoughts and question too ".
Dallas found himself more and more impressed by Iris, [ I'm supposed to work with her. This woman is a business wiz ]

" Can I come with you mommy? Pretty pretty please ". Felicity pulled on Iris trousers as she spoke pleadingly, " I'll behave ". Iris sighed as she rubbed her temples, " But this is business Felicity ".
Felicity nodded in agreement, " I know that and you're about to write a speech for my role model Dallas Pitcan, Oh please take me with you ". Iris felt tired and the day had barely just begun.
" Exactly, this is important serious business ", Felicity suddenly frowned and pointed at Jeremy who was lacing his sneakers by the door, " But you're letting Jeremy meet his idol, why can't I "?
Iris was speechless while Jeremy frowned and held on to Lori's leg, " Don't ruin this for me Felicity. Let's go before she changes her mind ". Lori nodded, as if understanding what he meant. He'd already moved in and taken a room on the top floor, the farthest from Gina and right across from Iris.
Now he was in black jeans and a white polo shirt which he matched with a black blazer and black boots, " You're right, let's wait outside ". Jeremy nodded and walked out with him.
Iris sighed as she looked down at Felicity's quivering lip and misty green eyes, " Pretty please ". Iris sighed in defeat as she nodded in agreement, " Fine, I guess you can come ".
Felicity jumped up in excitement and ran upstairs, " Where are you going now "? Felicity didn't look back as she continued up the stairs, " To get something for him to sign ". Iris rubbed her temples and laughed, " Today is gonna be a long one ".
