" You say you're meeting someone important "? Connor nodded and Rachel threw some clothes at him, " It's probably not a business meeting ". Connor nodded and Rachel smiled, " I think you should just look casual ". Connor wasn't able to refute as she threw him a light blue hoodie, similar to the shade of his jeans.
She shoved a pair of high tops towards him, " Just wear that and we're good to go ". Connor frowned, obviously not satisfied but Rachel closed the boot and draped an arm over his shoulder, " You should trust me on this Mr Limes. If you don't still like it after meeting your guest, I'll double the refund ".
Connor wasn't planning on asking for a refund and he'd already paid about twenty grand for this, [ I've really got too much money ] Rachel was almost as tall as him with her heels and reached his forearm.
" Connor, you have a girlfriend "!? The person that spoke was kneeling and raised his hands to the sky, " Thank you God "! Connor felt his vein bulge as he turned to the friend. Rachel let go of him and he began kicking the friend.
" Not funny Ian ". Rachel stifled a laugh as she watched him beat Ian up and thought of Iris, [ Wonder if she's done with her meeting ] Rachel sighed as she held Connor's shoulder, " Didn't you have a meeting Mr Limes "?
Connor stopped kicking and nodded, " You're so right, I'll deal with him later ". The three went in the elevator and begun their journey to the top floor. Rachel felt tired as she stood between the two but had a feeling they'd start fighting if they were too close.
" So petty lady, what brings you here "? Rachel couldn't help but laugh, " Business and a friend ". Connor quickly wore the hoodie and changed his shoes when they reached the top floor.
They were all surprised by what they saw. Ian looked around the elevator and sounded panicky, " Guys, we're in a time machine. And Dallas got himself a wife "! Connor slapped his head, " That'd take decades you moron ".
Iris couldn't help but laugh nervously as Rachel spoke. Rachel collapsed into the sofa, " Are you done yet? Lior needs us ". Iris nodded, standing up " Of course. Felicity was just messing around ".
Felicity tapped Dallas' shoulder and he put her down and she ran over to Rachel, " Look what Mister Dallas gave me Aunty Ray ray ". Rachel looked at the sunglasses and nodded, " These are top notch, did you say thank you "?
Felicity nodded and ran back to Dallas raising the glasses, " Do you have another one "? Dallas only smiled as he pinched her cute little button nose, " You're quite greedy ".
Felicity made a face and went on, " I have to take home another for you know who ". Dallas played along and nodded, " When you put it like that, I'll give you two more just to be safe " [ And keep your mother off my stuff ] and they walked back into the office.
Aurora was still clinging to Iris arm and looked up at her, " Will I see you again Miss Fetti "? Iris sighed, " I dunno, maybe ". Aurora seemed disappointed when Iris opened the book and scribbled her address, " But you can come over whenever you want ".
Aurora's eyes lit up instantly as she wrapped her hands around Iris' neck, " I'll definitely come over ". Iris nodded in agreement and got up, putting her jacket over her shoulder and covering her tattoo the same time Felicity came back out.
She was wearing the small rectangular shades that were obviously too big for her face, " How do I look "? Iris nodded and Felicity climbed the couch, putting the glasses on her face " And Uncle Dallas gave you one too ".
Iris looked at Dallas who only nodded and Iris smiled gratefully, allowing her put on the glasses for her " That's very sweet of both of you ". [ I feel a story coming on...and he'd be the perfect main character ]
Connor barely found his voice throughout the entire process [ My goddess is so beautiful, she's quite muscular too. She knows Ray gun? She has a daughter? Is Dallas the father? Wait, it can't be; she called him Uncle. She called him Uncle! ]
Iris smiled and suddenly walked up to Connor, holding his hands " I really wanna thank you Connor ". Connor felt his brain shutdown but spoke none the less, " Whatever for Miss Fetti "?
Iris tilted her head to the side, " Aurora tells me you're the only reason I'm here today so thank you ". Connor stuttered, unable to piece the words together when she signed his hoodie.
She signed Remi's City in bold wild like calligraphy which surprised since it was a ball pin black pen, " I wish I could stay but I have to go now ". Connor nodded, looking at his shirt.
Rachel smiled, pointing at him " I told you you'd love it ". Connor nodded, [ You get a ten grand bonus ] and waved them good bye when Felicity said something into Iris' ear.
Iris frowned slightly as she handed her to Rachel and suddenly kissed Connor's cheek, " City says thank you for letting her meet her idol as well ", and dashed into the elevator.
