Felicity thought she heard voices and instantly recognized Dallas' voice. She'd watched many of his interviews and documentaries and knew his voice instantly.
Iris was on the phone with Lori and he seemed to be annoying her again. She quietly got down from the sofa and peeped out of the waiting room and there he was, tall and handsome at six feet' three inches with his shiny jet black hair and sharp blue eyes.
There was a girl standing next to him, she was holding a book close to her chest and looked a lot like Dallas with her long straight black hair but she had purple eyes. Felicity let her excitement get the best of her as she ran up to Dallas.
She stopped in front of him and looked up, she was tall for her age and reached up to his mid thigh and he spoke to her, " Miss Fetti "!? Felicity felt like she was going to faint [ If Jeremy sees this, I'd lose the bet for sure ]
Felicity raised her small fair hand out, " Nice to meet you, I'm Felicity ". Dallas raised an eyebrow as he shook her hand, even surprising himself [ Wait, what am I doing? ]
He didn't have to think long as Iris appeared, she was in a baby pink pantsuit and had on a black round neck. She wore a simple long silver chain with a sapphire encrusted crown pendant.
She had on black high tops to match and her pixie cut was in bouncy curls that had somehow not fallen into her face. She gripped her satchel tightly as she walked over, the anger and relief evident in her features.
" You can't just go running around City ", Felicity nodded and bowed her head [ Don't embarrass me mom ] but she didn't say anything or Iris might send her to wait in the car or with Rachel.
" I'm really sorry about that Mr Dallas ", Dallas nodded mildly, " No harm done Miss Fetti, we should head upstairs to start the meeting ". Iris nodded in agreement and followed Dallas into the elevator.
The receptionist that watched the whole scene realized her mouth was open but couldn't believe her eyes [ Two icebergs melting at once ] and closed her mouth thanking her stars she didn't say anything offensive.

The ride to the top floor was silent. Felicity and Aurora could barely contain their excitement [ I'm breathing the same air as my favorite celebrity ] Dallas had a few questions rolling in his mind but when he glanced at Iris, she seemed unfazed.
A few moments later, they reached the fiftieth floor. Iris staggered slightly as she stepped out [ Maybe I should have taken the stairs ] Dallas unknowingly supported her, " Are you alright "?
Iris nodded and shook her head, " I'm sorry about that. It's been a while since I went so high ". Felicity vibrated her lips, " Yeah, always puking on the roller coaster ". Iris laughed nervously, " Enough City ".
Felicity pursed her lips and looked around the office. It was large and had an inner office, its walls made out of glass. Iris really envied the dull colors but knew she wouldn't get to enjoy it since the kids would somehow ruin it for her.
" Your office is very nice Mister Dallas ". Dallas couldn't help but laugh as he guided her to a seat. Felicity sat down with her hands in her lap as she watched Dallas and Aurora do the same.
Iris opened her bag and brought out her iPad, " Jeremy said he wanted to talk to you, so be quiet ". Felicity nodded and took the iPad happily. [ How does Remi always manage to stay calm and reserved? This is hard ]
Iris brought out her notebook and crossed her legs, looking at Dallas mildly " So did you like any of the samples "? Dallas nodded, surprised by how quickly she changed attitudes, " Well, the thing is I'm not much of a public speaker and I don't want to come off as stiff and stuck up ".
Iris nodded, scribbling it down " Do you have a fear of public speaking or you just don't like it "? Dallas shrugged slightly, " I just don't like it ". Iris nodded, " So previously, you told me you wanted a five minute speech, anything you had in mind to say ".
Dallas hummed slightly to himself, rubbing his nose " I was able to come up with a story I'd like to share though ". Iris beamed, " That's perfect. Would you prefer to tell me now or send a copy "?
" It'd be better to send them ", Iris nodded and tapped the book. The rest of their conversation lasted ten minutes covering must of the details of the speech he had in mind.
Iris suddenly pointed the tip of her pen at Aurora, " You've being staring at me for a while, is everything alright ". Aurora's brain shut down instantly as she stared at Iris [ What do I say? ]
Dallas patted her head, calming her down " This is my niece Aurora, she seems to be a really big fan of yours ". Iris smiled and pointed at Felicity who was still staring at the iPad, " This is my daughter Felicity and she's a big fan of yours as well ".
Though Dallas already guessed, that didn't make him any less curious about her. Iris smiled at Dallas, as if pleading silently " How about we call it a day and make the kids happy "?
Dallas couldn't help but laugh as he agreed, looking at Felicity " I'd be glad to show you around Felicity ". Felicity suddenly looked up from the iPad and looked at Iris for confirmation before jumping off the sofa and with Dallas, " Absolutely ".
Iris smiled mildly at Aurora and pointed at the book in her hands, " Do you like the book Aurora "? Aurora nodded mildly and crossed to Aurora's side of the couch, " Do you have any ideas so far "?
Aurora suddenly looked up at her, her expression serious as she pointed at her own left forearm, " Can I see your tattoo "?
