The dirty, soiled and befouled ground filled with dust one could imagine sand grains was on the terrazzo floors. The long yet wide fixed table was in an arranged manner which made the room seem neat. Although whatever the students had written on the tiled tabled destroyed the neatness of the lab. Kaylee was seated in the far end with her head on the table, her mind someplace else, her body rested and her eyes crying while her lips whimpered. She thought about it a dozen times, but she could not find a reason why she was not to be blamed. The dark and satanic side of her blamed her for the accident while the angelic and innocent side of her told her that it wasn't her fault.
Amidst the mixed feelings and remorse, she had another unexpected episode. Her math teacher was about to walk into the old lab and sit down on a chair beside her. Mr Mark was going to talk to her about her instead of telling Kaylee to go to class. He would then proceed to give a small bottle of mango juice and tell her to take her time.
After the episode stopped, Kaylee wondered why the new teacher was trying to get close to her. On his first day he tried to talk to her and even knew her name but why would he try to be friendlier than the rest of the teachers? Did he know something about her? Kaylee wondered as she took her bag in a hurry and rushed out of the lab and walked towards the library. By now the hallway was empty, not a single soul could be seen. Classes had been going on with a lot of noise being heard from each room. Teacher's screaming, students, laughing just the normal amount of craziness in their high school.
There was a certain smell, a barbeque sauce, with vinegar or was it garlic it was too hard to tell considering it came from the far right of the hallway where the cafeteria was found. Kaylee dashed to the library as the headmaster came out of his office trying to catch whichever student was wandering around the school hallways. When she reached the extremely deserted library she found a perfect spot under a high regulating fan and sat beneath it.
She sat in such a position that she could be locked in the library without her knowledge since the enormous dull door could not be seen from her position. She took out a math book and started calculating the equations. Although her mind drifted away as she reminisced about her good old days. No stress, no feelings, no powers, nothing life-threatening just her doing her.
All the thinking and crying made her feel drained, as she stared at the book she was holding her head slightly slid from the books and a few moments later her eyes were too heavy for them to be opened and before she knew it she was sleeping in the library.

"Go to the school and get me the girls' file. I want it today before the day ends, are we clear?" Tyler said as he was looking out his office window with a face void of any emotion. He had both of his hands in his suit as his secretary was busy behind him trying to recollect and analyse whatever he said in a low and charismatic voice.
"Yes, sir," he said after a few seconds.
"And bring me a picture of her face, I want to see how the girl who killed my son looks like."
"Yes sir."
His secretary turned back and walked away in a distinguished manner and politely closed the door. Tyler continued looking outside of his window and wondered how his son was doing. He watched the cars going about the city from his enormous window, the honking and the crowing of the birds. The noise from people on the streets but no voice could be heard in his brain. His office had Air Conditioning with a sweet smell of lavender in the air as he breathed it in gently, no dust particles could be felt in his lungs.
But he had a lot in his mind to notice the little things in his life anymore. Just as he resolved to start working his black huge iPhone started vibrating and flashing lights.
He picked it up from the table and sat at his leather chair with his back rested peacefully on the chair. 'My lovely wife' was what he saw on his phone as his heart busted into tiny little pieces. Was Justus okay? that was the first thing he wondered. After taking a deep breath he answered the phone with his pupils constricted as if he were on drugs.
"Hello, Samantha. Is everything okay? Is Justus fine?" he asked in a hurried voice.
"Yeah, he's fine. The doctor just said that his tests came back and he was not as bad. We just have to wait for him to open his eyes. But he said that he's gonna open his eyes soon enough." Samantha said while sounding euphoric as she could be heard crying from the other end.
"That's amazing honey. So he's gonna wake up now, right?"
"Yeah......You should go back to work now. I really dint want to disturb you but it was too much good of news for me not to tell you, mi amor."
"Thank you, honey. I appreciate you telling me and don't worry you did not trouble me at all. Am happy to hear your voice when am at work. Bye honey. I love you."
"Okay, love you too mi amor."
Tyler hangs up his phone and out of the blue felt energised to finally do some work. He stood up and went to the sales team to motivate them unknowingly. He walked quite a certain amount of steps as his other female secretary kept walking behind him with her back crouched as if she were begging. They reached the sales team room and immediately the intense motivation or what most employees referred to as 'monster kindness'. They meant monster kindness as in how Tyler always wanted to do something good but ends up making his employees even more scared of him. They believed monsters couldn't be kind even if they tried to.
"Employees of Zrethe pharmaceuticals. Why arent are you working hard enough? You need to be able to increase the sales by 30 per cent this month. And if there is no rise in the sales no one's getting their bonuses or commission and most likely I will fire all of you. So Am going to order pizza for you to enjoy and work hard. Goodbye."
Tyler said harshly and severely before walking away while thinking he just motivated the heck out of his employees.
Employee 1, "What the heck was that? Is he treating us to pizza like that? With a heart attack and a stroke?"
"Yeah, I know right!! Who tells people they are fired then tells them to eat. What kind of weird dumb psychotic thing is that?" employee 2.
Employee 3," I still can't believe he married, and a very pretty lady at that. Personally, I wouldn't marry him even if he was the only person in the world. I mean he is handsome and masculine but who cares? He's too rude."
"Honey, your too single to pick your men. If you ever got him, which is never going to happen, just shut up and stay with him. ANd speed up the marriage too." employee 2 said with a huge smile on her face as the other employee's laughed.
"I would definitely pity him if he was the only one in the world stuck with you." employee 4 lamented with an evil smile on his face.
"Why?..... am not that bad" employee 3 answered.
"No, no, you're not bad. But you just talk too much, honey."
The group dispersed with smiles on their faces after joking around. Mr Tyler watched them from his office as he felt contented that he could cheer his workers up. (He could not hear them speak just laughing uncontrollably at a distance).

*BANG....BANG........BANG*
Kaylee woke up at the library as she opened her eyes there she was. With her little pink skirt and pretty buttons. It seemed like she was waiting eagerly for Kaylee to wake up so she could continue with her oppressive behaviour. As Kaylee sat down straight on her chair she could see that it was only her, Clare and Sarah in the library.
She decided to try and work things out, "Hey listen. You don't get it. I was just telling him to be careful....." *Pahhhhh*
A loud echo could be heard all around, Clare slapped Kaylee as she turned her head around trying not to slap her back. She wanted to slap her back, she really did, but if she did her position at DAU would be lost. She had to maintain that amazing and perfect girl spirit if she wanted to get in. So she kept quite and stared at the floor.
