I turned around to come, face to chest with Arsenio. My mouth dropped to the floor, my eyes widened at the sight in front of me. He was Arsenio but he had this huge white feather behind his back. He looked like an angel from heaven.
Oh my god!
He wasn't lying all this time. He was indeed from a different realm. The thing that I saw on television was him after all.
What the hell was going on in my life?

Arsenio's Pov~
We were going dress shopping for me, after Adeline's work here. I really appreciate the way she provides for me even though I was a complete, stranger to her. But I couldn't rely on her. I must find a job during my stay in this realm. I met a middle-aged man today, while I had my early morning run in the same park that I visited yesterday.
He told me that they were looking for a security guard in his office. He thought that I'll be fit for the position due to my physique. I assured him that I will visit his office. He was the head of the creative department in his office.
I was waiting in this car for more than two hours but there was no sign of Adeline. Yeah, you heard me correct it was called a car. I was slowly learning things from this realm.
I was gazing at the street when I spotted Adeline running away from something or probably a gang. A group of thugs was chasing her.
I clenched my fist with fury. How dare they? I exited her car and spread my wings. The street was clear, so it was not going to be a problem. I flew a little above, careful not to be spotted by any humans here.
I spotted her from my position and landed near a building as soon as she ran closer to the building I grabbed her by the arm and pulled as into the building. She was breathing so hard. Here soft frame was pressed against my hard one. I released her once I felt there was no sign of danger.
When she came to know that it was me, she was not relaxed rather be shocked. Her gaze was locked with my mighty feathers.
Well… now she will understand that I was not lying to her about my home.
"Adeline, are you okay?" I asked her softly making sure not to scare her with my new appearance. I got it why she was stunned. She literally looked like a statue, whose jaw was dropped to the floor.
I was not complaining though. Even the people back in my realm get fascinated by my appearance. Some people get scared and stunned to their spot when they first met me. And I, being a prince was not helping their situation either.
They were intimidated by wings; at the same time, they make sure they didn't offend me either.
"Yeah…" she replied slowly as if, she was in a trance. She didn't even blink her eyes. It was locked with my wings in awe.
"Who are they?" I asked her. Trying to gain her attention but my endeavor was futile. I need an answer from her. They looked so harmful and they were chasing her. Was she in danger or something? I clenched my fist at the thought of someone trying to hurt her.
"Who…?" was she even listening to me? I looked into her eyes again and my suspicion was correct. She was not listening to anything.
"The thugs that were chasing you," When I got no reply in return, I snapped my fingers in front of her face to gain her attention.
"Are you even listening to me?" she snapped out of her daze and focused on my face.
Thank the heavens!
"Ah…sorry… you have wings…" she pointed out.
"I do," I replied simply as if, it didn't matter.
"Is that real?" she asked me like a curious child. Her eyes sparkled like a kid that saw a candy store. Her reaction made me chuckle.
"Yes, it is." I laughed heartily at her reaction which made her frown at me.
"C…Can I…touch it?" she asked hesitantly. I smiled at her and raised my wings for her to touch.
"You can touch me all you want." I teased her with a wink. Her face flushed red which made me smirk at her.
"Shut up!" she smacked at my chest and slowly brought her hand towards my wings. My breathing hitched as soon as her fingers gaze at my fingers. No one touched my wings. She was the first person to touch my wings besides my parents.
Her touch was so soft, like a caress, it did something to my heart in an unexplainable way.
I turned my head to look at her face. She looked contented and she had this large smile on her face. Her smile was contagious which made me smile at her. The moment we share now was something intimate to me.
After a while, she dropped her hands down but her smile never falters off her smile.
"Are you an Angel?" she asked me with sparkling eyes. Her question made me smile at her innocence.
"No, I told you before I was a prince from Lympia which was located in a different realm," I answered.
"So… you were not lying about coming from a different realm." She realized. I nodded my head in confirmation.
"Does everyone have wings in your world?" she inquired inquisitively. Well then, it was going to be a long day.
"Why don't we discuss me while you drive us to the mall?" I suggested. She nodded her head still not recovered from her shock.

Adeline's Pov~
I still couldn't believe the things that he told me earlier. He was a blessing from the god of love, Eros. Who was also known as Cupid, as in Greek mythology?
Was that even possible?
According to everyone in his realm, they believe that he was the son of Eros. He was even considered a demigod in some villages of his kingdom.
No wonder he looked like an angel even without his wings. He was in search of a bride in my world. When I asked him about it, he told me that there was no good match for him in his realm.
But why did I have the feeling, as if he was lying about the latter part?
Maybe he did something not so appreciable that's why no king was willing to marry off their daughters to him. I concluded my own theory.
I took a glance at his profile, indeed he was the most handsome man that I have ever laid my eyes on. He almost looked like an unworldly creature. We both were driving to the mall to buy him some clothes.
"Adeline?" he shifted towards my face.
"Yes," I encouraged him to continue while stopping at a red light.
"Who are the thugs that chased you earlier?" he asked me with a frown, observing my reaction.
"Nah! They are not a big deal." I waved at him as if it was normal in my life to be chased by some scary-looking gangsters. But in reality, I was scared shitless, besides they didn't saw my face.
So I was safe, right?
"Adeline, it doesn't look like it is not a big deal. Are you in danger?" he looked so concerned. The signal changed to green light and I started to drive. I totally forgot the feeling of people caring for me.
It hit something deep within me. My heart melted at his small act of showing emotion towards me.
"I am not. They haven't seen my face yet." I assured him with a smile.
"Besides, the risk is part of my job. Don't worry it is worth it at the end." I squeezed his hand and he squeezed back.
"If you have any problem, you tell me immediately, okay," he informed me.
"Yes your majesty," I teased him with a bow which made him laugh at me.
I pulled into the parking lot and exited my car. We both shopped for him but my mind was rewinding the event that took place at the strip club. Jedrick was in search of a personal secretary.
I might sound like a crazy lady but it was a good opportunity to keep tabs on him. The fact that he killed his previous secretary was not helping my nerves but I was willing to take any risk to expose that devil.
He already knew my face from the Plaza, when he saved my life. I looked into the mirror to see my reflection. Maybe I should… disguise myself as a man. Preparing an identity document with authenticity was not a big deal. It was an advantage as a part of my job. We have people for this in my newstation
But the real question was, am I ready to work with the devil?
